To be fair, he did (like most of us in Uni) use a LOT of unnecessarily big words.

So, I stood up and picked my son up (carefully, being very careful not to lose control), and we moved away from the "scene". This is key on both fronts. You made a controlled, sober decision to take your child for a change of scenery. If needed you would sit on a park bench and let him have a nap on your lap, but you don't make him sit there and go squirrely, you are proactive about dealing with the situation. Calmly and decisively. One of the things you have to accept as a new parent /u/cashmun…

To me all this sounds like you just rewarded the "hard no". Bingo.

This happened in my home last night. Wife is crazy busy getting ready for a new school year so I step in and start folding the laundry - one of her chores. She comes in and sees her clothes in a pile and, assuming that I was only folding my own, asks in a slightly bitchy tone "Why aren't you folding mine too?!" I look her hard in the eye and say "Not done yet." I sure as hell didn't fold them after that. She didn't say a word when the pile was still there in the morning.

Listen to u/slamchop. I would discourage you from having any contact with this family moving forward.

If you have a solid RP foundation in your marriage, and are truly the unquestionable captain of your ship, it only takes a disapproving glance to get your wife to lose weight and tone up, or wax, or dress up, or any other little thing that you want. My wife has had two babies in the past 3 years and is already back to the Brasilian hardbody I married. There were moments right after the babies came where I furrowed my brow and shook my head at her less-than-perfect ass when she thought I didn't k…

This may sound nuts but we agreed when we got together that it was us against the world as a team, and the world has these stupid Hallmark (tm) holidays that we don't need to subscribe to - so we don't. Takes all of the stress of both of us for mother's day, father's day, valentines, etc. It sounds like she'd get all caught up in the societal need but you know what, she totally doesn't. I think she is genuinely relieved not to have to mark the occasion with anything more than a chuckle at the sh…

If you want to see a fantastic response, read the PENDING (you have to turn on PENDING) comment by 'Joe' to the original article I'll be amazed if this gets 'approved' by the author, so here it is in entirety: "I sympathize with Heath, although I question the adequacy of filing a complaint against the Toronto Argonauts. What Heath is doing is attempting to get some long needed recognition that men are victims of domestic violence. All domestic violence is wrong and we should be working to elimin…

Don't say anything. You've got work to do. Improve your physique, attitude, career, finances, independence, communication skills, seduction skills etc to the point where you are without a doubt a man who can have anything, including any woman he wants. She will absolutely know it and wouldn't dare say anything like that ever again.

Seriously, RP has women figured out like nothing else I could imagine. You didn't put allcaps or *** around this so I wanted to repeat it for emphasis. Hell yeah.
