I think the sleeplessness is a symptom. I can sleep like snorlax under normal circumstances.

I need money and I want to move out of from my parents so bad. But it'll take so much time. (they're toxic narcissists; everyone, even a councelor suspected they're using/manipulating me, and they thwart my attempts at independence/success) I feel trapped and toughing it out gets difficult at times.

Why wouldn't you want your subordinates to be weak and unsuccessful? Keeps out competition. This BP conditioning that society hands you is essentially one giant shit test/beta trap.

Many traits of masculinity, which will attract women, instill power and inspire respect/fear, are recognized on a primal level. Doesn't culture come from somewhere? Hasn't the 48 Laws of power always been relevant? Culture changes but human behavior hasn't evolved much. You just have a higher percentage of dark triads in today's society. (yay capitalism and overpopulation) And I don't think I need to tell you what Machiavellianism is. You do the math. Chances are, what works for Machiavellionous…

A classic. It doesn't say how to exploit these laws though, nor gives examples. As Illimitable Man expressed in a cooking metaphor, the 48 Laws of Power are like "raw ingredients."

Women, typically and erroniously, select for traits existing along the Dark Triad, which is why shit tier criminals still often get laid. The only difference between now and the past are the laws based on "equality" and the removal of behavior limiting cultural attributes such religion. Couple in the fact the psyche of the people gets worse with every generation, and as the population expands, you see what we call "the decline" you have today.

True. I'm wondering if a lifestyle change could alter that mindset basically, and begin a process that essentially flips the switch, so to speak.

To me, success is just the scientific definition. Simply resources (BetaBucks, or AlphaBucks in the matter of the "scandalous" upper echelan) and number of good offspring. (AlphaFucks) Really, that's just the model for human life if you ask me. I'm wondering the relationship between lifestyle and alpha/beta frame here though, and whether they either are created by the other, or if it's somewhere in between. I'm starting to think it's the latter though. Whereas a "perma-beta" will always be some …

I can personally attest to leaving an alarm clock out of reach. In fact, get one of those old fashioned metal bell ones. Those would wake me up guaranteed. Also, if you really need to use electronics, or just for the sake of keeping your circadium rhythm in check during night hours, get an app for your phone or such that filters out blue light. Blue light activates dopamine transmitters in your brain that keep you awake, and it's the reception of blue light that keeps the human brain's circadium…

Preselection always works. But you'll either 1) actually have this abundance or 2) need to portray this abundance via social media or the like. Point is, like any turd such as myself in this situation, you need abundance.

If I really wanted, I could try to take a selfie with a cute girl who's giving me IOI's and post that shit on instagram, then shoot her a Follow on ig. Reminds her I exist and poke some interest but also that she's replaceable/other girls enjoy my company. But I do not want this goddamn oneitis.

I don't believe in unicorns. She doesn't do drugs or drink, and seems to have a limited social circle to her roommates and family. Doesn't drive. Heavily focused on college and is only 18. Doesn't wear makeup for whatever reason. Doesn't seem to go out much, doesn't even know the campus she lives on that well and getting directions from her got us both lost. Rarely posts on instagram. Doesn't use her phone any more than I do. (No idea if she has FB though; I don't go on FB) However, she's still …

Well, let me put it this way. I know I could just get a measely bar job and work my way up from there without the skill. But me paying for a class would be much like how someone would pay for a dancing class, or something else mundane. Sure, I could learn this shit at home, and sure it won't help me get a job per se, but hey 1) I learn a skill I could use on fun occasions and 2) taking this class adds more to my daily schedule besides just working and sleeping. Gives me a mission that gets me ou…

It does nothing for me. Either makes me insecure and needier or I'm just numb to it, depending on the female. Better to just avoid it entirely if you ask me.

Pining? Naw dog, those days are long gone. It's more like just reminders in my mind that she exists and I haven't heard from her. Or "maybe I should I text her" when I know damn well I shouldn't. Reminders that come from somewhere out of insecurity. Thoughts that I wouldn't say are my own. Really, the past few days I've just been riding out the occasional sad boi hour (really just "feeling sad" while not thinking about anything if that makes sense) which seems to charge me the next few hours and…

I don't want to think about her at all. Thinking like this is still pedastalling, and is only cringeworthy. I don't think I've actually heard of alphas doing this, and this probably one of the most counterproductive suggestions I see get spread around on here. I want to go back to my thoughts about me and what I can be doing. Fuck what she does or how many gallons of semen she's swallowing from Tinder right now. None of my goddamn business.

I was thinking about doing the school to get the experience mixing drinks (I don't drink, at least not anymore) and it would give me an excuse to get out the house too. I figured bar backing would be the way in first, anyway, but being able to say I have the experience from such-and-such school would be helpful, I'm assuming. I don't know any bartenders, so I posted here.

TRP needs more commentors like you, jefferson. My financial situation isn't as bad personally as I've seen. Just some overdraft fees since I desperately needed to get around at the time, (no car, blah) and a fine. No debt, but no savings. Aside from that, I just want to learn a skill and do something like bartending. After I pay for a class on that so I have the skills to work on those fronts, I'll probably start paying off my debts. Also, ask me three weeks ago if I had a job and I'd say no. Go…

This story resonates with my deeply, because I was that shitty friend. Although my friend had oneitis for her and lost frame, so her massive amounts of red flags took control of my über hamster at the time. It was also about the time I discovered TRP, but not before I was already balls deep in that mess. I will never do something like that again, and will forever appreciate my best friend for affording me forgiveness at the time. Look guys, heed OP's advice. Bros before hoes. Don't fuck with the…

Appreciate the input. I also do have this weird instinctual mindset (was like this pre-trp) where while feeling like shit, I feel like I desperately want to raise my SMV. Last time I had a major Oneitis (at work, again, pre-trp) I dropped 50+ pounds and worked out. I just wanted attention really, and hell I got it. (Look at how I even write on here. I'm a sucker for validation and attention, no lie, but it's also what feeds my charisma, so I just own it and let it fuel me.) Never got anywhere wi…

I think it's just the problem of the generation. The younger generations are more cucked by the system than the older ones, like the baby boomers. Life for us kids can be interpreted as like a more severe shit test than what the older generations had. Though it's not impossible to be successful or get by, it just takes more effort and smarts than it used to.

I see your point. I'm just trying to figure out how to implement/translate these redpill guides and values into certain aspects of life, really. What sort of fundemental could one, say, apply to dealing with their callous, blue pill helicopter parents while living with them? Or just getting help from anyone in general when it's physically impossible to do something on your own?

Getting past the first hurdles for my independence is one of my main hurdles to begin with. How can I get a driver's license without money to afford it? How do I get one without a car if I need to bring my own car? How am I supposed to afford state mandated insurance? How am I supposed to even get down to the DPS which is 7 miles down the road?

Where would I go about applying for this field of work? Also, I kind of like the idea of getting paid to raid rich people's pantries while they go on business trips, so that idea is permanently sealed in my head now. I'm thinking if I can do both, I might also just go flipping leather goods like boots from thrift stores on ebay to funnel in some more cash.

Are you talking about house/pet sitting? I got an opportunity to do that for three nights and got $100 for just raiding the pantry of all fruit gummis and sitting outside, smoking with the dogs while trolling tinder. Shit, I'll take more opportunities to do that.

I'm actually employed with a contractor security company right now. However, I literally cannot make it to any of their events because they're downtown, and I live out in the middle of nowhere - something like 5 miles from the nearest bus stop, and currently not even in any township or city. I couldn't make a shift on time even if I tried. (buses don't run early enough) At this point, I just need enough money to reinvest in something to keep me secure and stable. The plan after that is to get a …

Exactly the analytical input I'm looking for. Right now, I'm just trying to perfect the right tone with girls without being too pushy/needy or being too much of a dick. Wasn't really looking for escalation here, and in this case, I just got bored with the girl. Also the fact her last reply was literally just one word. (on the toys thing, I asked if they were from Santa's toy shop, and she replied with "Maybe." Really pulling her weight in conversation there.)
