Every relationship with a female is transactional. Every. Single. One. (Other than maybe your mother)

I got divorced at 48. The flip side is if you're in the prime of your career like many people that age, it's insanely easy to stack the paper without the anchor of a spouse. But yes, you do have to do it for a few years and getting divorced at 58 would suck. Much too late.

Lot of butthurt women in the replies. Kind of like teaching probability and odds outside a casino, the owners are going to get pissed you're ruining their game.

2 years is nothing. Most women just cannot be alone. What is shocking is that she married him- the only time I see a woman marrying a poorer guy is when she's 35 and knows her eggs are expiring daily. I bet she got a nice prenup in place, which is ironic.

I read that article and laughing at every single easily predictable and explainable action of the ex wife that anyone with a red pill would have seen coming from a mile away. Now, if I recall correctly, he is with a librarian that makes no money but seems to really appreciate him. Wonder how that'll work out?

The best way to get out of a ticket, other than playing the pussy pass, is being respectful, acknowledging fault, accepting responsibility and apologizing. She is not going to do that.

15 to 25 is way high. That's the percentage that can hide major red flags. Now throw in those that turn insane after childbirth and menopause and you're in the low low single digits. Good luck with that

" the benefits of this lifestyle tend to evaporate when a man hits 50" I'm 51, divorced at 46 and I can assure you the benefits of mgtow grow every year. Even if I were decrepit, if you think a woman is going to be there for you when you're down physically, you might as well go unicorn hunting while you're at it.

WTF? Look I strongly suspect this is a troll post designed to get the board in trouble. But if it's not and this is a hypothetical... Do you really think in an actual physical war men would have to use a rope a dope strategy for 15 years to defeat women in battle? Think about that a bit. It'd take a day or two at most. That's the whole point whenever someone complains about this vast patriarchal conspiracy to control women, if we really wanted that, men as a group could have the US looking like …

"I'm about to sell my business and come into a low-mid 7 figure payout" Oh boy. This is gonna be good. Be prepared for every guilt trip and manipulative trick in the book. Her cash cow is leaving and it's not going to be without a fight. Does she know about the cash? If not, do not tell her. I cannot stress this enough. Second, start being clingy and needy to her. Maybe cry in front of her. She'll be gone in a month.

I remember my ex wanted to do a garage sale with her friends. I explained that between all the work and pain in the ass, she'd end up getting 2.50 an hour and would be better off hauling it to goodwill and picking up a shift at McDonald's. She didn't understand- it just didn't compute.

Yeah, that didn't work so well for the states in 1861. All that's different now is that the feds have control of more money and a quick strike air force with smart bombs so they can immediately punish the recalcitrant states.

During my divorce we had some joint property that was a share in her family's business. My first proposal to her was she gets the family business interest free and clear and we split the rest 50/50. Since I was the major breadwinner and actually had money before the marriage, this was a great deal for her. Of course, she turned it down and demanded more. Her face when I said fuck it I'll just assert my claim to the shares in the family business was priceless. I eventually gave her the business, …

They've been so force fed the girl power and captain marvel narrative they have no idea. I remember I was dating a girl that played high school basketball who was talking trash that she could beat me. We start playing and I'm taking it easy and she starts berating me to not take it easy and just play like I normally play, she can handle it. If you're lucky, you will have a few friends over your life that will always have your back. You could call them at 3 a.m. to bail you out of jail (try not to do that but you get the idea) and you would do the same for them. Treasure these people. None of these people will be women. Yes, present taxes versus future taxes is everything. Problem is you don't know what future taxes will be so you're guessing but I can almost guarantee tax rates will not be going down. You can of course, time your future deductions to lessen overall taxes but what the brackets will be is anyone's guess. You can also retire to a low tax state to avoid paying additional state level taxes on your withdrawals. Here's a general rule, if you're marginal rate is currently in the 10 or 12% bracket, a r…

One minor disagreement with this- The ROTH IRA is the mother-load, and if you are investing, you should contribute to your ROTH IRA above anything else. Generally good advice, but if someone is getting a match from employer in the 401k, fill that up first just enough to get that match, then hit the roth.
/r/MGTOW31/12/20 07:46 PM
5

Great post. I'd also add that if you are contributing to a 401k plan and you already max out the 19,500 (sounds like a lot but if you're single and in mid career it is really easy) then see if your employer's plan offers a mega backdoor roth option- You make after tax contributions to the plan and immediately convert that amount to a roth. If you were going to save additional amounts outside retirement accounts anyway, it's pure gravy. Keep stacking that paper, boys. It's freedom.

This man gets it. I'm 30 months away from my youngest graduating and joining you. It's all relative wealth for most people. There is some study that says the person making 40k with neighbors making 30k is happier than the person making 100k surrounded by neighbors with 150k. People will always want more. Hell, the average middle class person in the US has a better standard of living than the richest person in the world in 1900. But they're not happier as a result.

General strategy is to leave a decent portion still in stocks, whose growth will exceed inflation. Or if you're ultra conservative, invest in TIPS which are indexed to inflation. Your real return will be negligible but you'll keep up with inflation if that's your main worry.

I too went to college in the 80s. As a freshman I had a fuck buddy that was a senior who was up for anything. One day someone in my dorm told me she was engaged to a guy who had just graduated and was out working in the real world. Next time I went over to her place I checked her ring finger and sure enough, it had a giant diamond. (In my defense, what 18 year old looks for engagement rings? I was clueless about that shit). I've got one that pays 5% back at grocery stores, another gives 3 back at restaurants, gas station and travel, and a third gives 2 back on everything. Just use the appropriate one depending on the purchase, pay off bills every month, and it's free money. All it takes is a little planning and discipline. Of course LBJ's policies had no effect on those actually in Africa. But blacks in the richest country on earth might be in a different situation than those on a continent that has historically been mired in poverty. In 1950 the out-of-wedlock birth rate was 18% among blacks. In 1965 it was 25%, in 1991 it was 68%, and in 2015, 77%. Slavery was no doubt a giant shit sandwich served on the black people, but since 85 years after its abolition, 82% of families had a dad, something other than slavery is responsible for the rise since then.

You've about nailed it, other than the part about there are upsides to both options. After maybe the first year of marriage there is absolutely no upside to the arrangement. I've done both. There is no logic, it's just basic evolutionary programming and societal conditioning. When I was a blue pill and found out my wife was cheating, I laid awake at nights plotting ways to murder the guy. There are 2 types of capital- traditional capital (money, equity, property, etc) and work capital (time, effort, etc). Unless you're a trust funder, early in your life all you have is the latter and you better trade some of that for as much traditional capital as you can or you'll be relying on work capital forever. I'm an older guy in his early 50s but it's great to sometimes calculate what all that traditional capital I've accumulated does. In a typical year, it's the equivalent of having 3 or…

Herd mentality. Women are honestly offended when others make different choices. I'm sure we both cried at some point today? What kind of existence is it if it's more likely than not that you cried that day? Some people, let's call them well adjusted adults, go years without crying and save it only for things like deaths of family members and maybe a really cool pet. But hey, you keep being stunning and brave.

Do you understand the yiddish term chutzpah? A good example I've heard is someone killing their parents and then begging for mercy because they're an orphan. That's audacity.

Use a bidet. A roll of toilet paper will last weeks. Since switching to one a few years ago I'm still amazed it hasn't taken hold in the US. It's cheaper, easier, cleaner and better for the environment, but people still insist on smearing shit all over their asses with paper.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
