The first few weeks of freshman year are probably the easiest time in your life to approach girls as nobody has created their social circle yet so everybody is open to meeting new people. It might be a bit too late depending on when your classes started but one of the best bits of advice I've ever gotten from this forum is to sit down next to the most attractive girl in the room on the first day of classes and introduce yourself. After about two weeks of class everyone is going to start to sit i…

I usually start of with introducing myself (always shake hands confidently or if it’s a girl you’ve met before go for a hug). Usually ask where are you from or what’s your major. That usually gets stale after a minute or two. I try to talk about music or movies. Ask a lot of questions and make playful jokes about her responses. The thing about parties is they’re usually pretty loud so I’ll lean in to hear her better and use it as a chance to lightly touch her shoulder. If you can keep a convo go…

Just say hey, make eye contact and smile. It’s the best starting point. Every once and a while something will come of it. If not it just takes away some of the awkwardness of you see her again. Don’t beat yourself up over it there will always be more women to talk to

I used to have the same problem. The key is to build a personality (it’s not as hard as you think). I’ve started dressing more boldly and not caring if people don’t like the way I dress. I really don’t have any hobbies but I always talk about my tastes in music and movies or a book I’m reading. I don’t consider myself funny but I’m just really sarcastic and people seem to like it. Find people who value you for who you are don’t just want something from you and hold on to them. Self confidence be…

The most important thing about going out to parties (night game) is to have fun. If you go out to a party thinking only about approaching girls you’re going to come off as much more awkward and psych yourself out. If you’re dancing, being social, talking to everyone you’re going to appear as much more attractive. I used to go out to college parties not knowing anyone and standing in the corner sipping my drink and forcing approaches. Within the first week of joining my fraternity I broke a year …

Also maybe take her dancing. Colleges are full of parties with people dancing and (at least for me) it’s a much easier environment for me to escalate in. Also if you (and her) are drinking it takes away a lot of the awkwardness.

I’m from Atlanta and I can tell you that if you think that all the whole city is just hood girls and bible thumpers then you clearly don’t know Atlanta. While those types certainly exist there’s a whole lot more to the city than that. There are a ton of amazing down to earth girls if you know where to look. That being said there definitely is a unique culture that many non Georgians don’t quite get. Also there is a lot of young money in the city and a ton of girls who will do anything to chase i…

There's actually a cool trick I picked up from a video posted on here about being more physically forward that I haven't personally had a chance to try out yet. Its simply say something like "Wow your hands are so small" and hold up your hands. She'll most likely put her hands up to yours to see the size difference. At this point lock fingers with her like you're holding hands. Keep strong eye contact and gently squeeze her hands, if she squeezes back it means she's being receptive and is comfor…

Personally I prefer going out with friends. I have no problem separating from them. If I get rejected on the dance floor I can just go back to them and don’t have to just stand there awkwardly. Almost every girl at a club is going out with her friends so I find it helps to show up with your too. What ever works for you man. Just remember to have a good time. It’s better to go to out and have a good time and not get with any girls than spend the whole night fixated on bringing someone home

Don’t be that dude that just starts grabbing girls from behind. I know a guy who does that and people quickly realize he’s a creep. I don’t know much about clubs but what I generally follow in college frat parties should somewhat apply (most of this stuff I learned from here on Reddit). First just work on talking to girls. I’m pretty introverted so I stand around the edges of the dance floor until I’ve had a few drinks and take the time to pick out girls that catch my eye. After a little while I…

Maybe just try complementing her first and seeing how she reacts before continuing. Then introduce yourself. The whole “I didn’t ask where you’re from” definitely comes off too harsh and is probably what’s causing a negative reaction from her. Remember to keep things fun and casual and smile a lot. Always be interested in her and act like you really want to know what she’s like. You might also want to ask a doctor to prescribe propranolol. It’s commonly used as a stage fright medication but ther…

Your lack of results doesn’t mean shit about how attractive you are. Your attractiveness towards girls is 95% about the confidence you carry. As long as you don’t let rejection destroy your self image, you’ll never be a 1. In some ways guys have it easier when it comes to being attractive to the opposite sex. For girls to be initially attractive it’s all about looks and a lot of that you can’t change. For guys it’s all about confidence and that is something you can change. Look around and you’ll…

I used to have crippling social anxiety back in high school. Not just with girls but with everyone in general. The biggest change I've made is telling myself I'm attractive. Most people if asked to rate their attractiveness on a scale of 1 to 10 would say they're a 6 or 7. Before I go out I simply look in the mirror and focus only on the parts about myself I think make me attractive (my eyes, my smile etc.) and not on the parts about myself I don't like. If you can walk around thinking of yourse…

Plan on hanging out with her next year but also push yourself to meet attractive girls in your classes next semester also. If you're talking to multiple girls it takes away a lot of the fear of rejection

I don’t think there’s any hidden message here you’re not seeing. As far as I can tell she enjoyed spending time with you and you should try to schedule another date. Personally I’m awful about overthinking things and psyching myself out of pursuing a girl because of mixed messages. She seems pretty straight forward and the fact that she texted you first is a good sign. Good luck 👍

Going from a dorm living with 7 other guys to a single roommate I find a lot of quiet time at night. This is usually when I’m the most “inside my head” and is usually when I become fixated on negative thoughts. When things are quiet and I don’t have anything else to occupy my time I first go to the gym as late at night as I can. When I get back I do a simple 10 minute meditation on the app oak. Their ten minute meditation I really like because it’s all about easing the wandering thoughts out of …

The one thing I always do is the first day of classes I walk in and sit down next to the most attractive girl in the room. Ive struggled with social anxiety for years but this is actually pretty easy for me. She most likely wont know anyone else and she'll be just as nervous as you are. If you can strike up a conversation and then continue to sit next to her for the next few days you'll eventually get into the habit of sitting next to each other. A lot of my courses involve small group projects.…

Dude I wish I was even talking to girls when I was 16. Just remember to be yourself and not try too hard to act like like anything you're not. Just relax and don't overthink things, that is the best advice I can give you. Also make friends with her friends, especially her female friends they can give you great advice. Most importantly Just go for it
