I’m a sophomore in college and I’ve really been struggling with doing cold approaches and putting myself out there in general. I decided to rush a fraternity a few months ago and just through pledging alone I’ve met a ton of girls. One challenge I had as a pledge was to take a selfie with a girl in every sorority before the end of the day. I already knew a few sorority girls from classes but the exercise forced me to talk to new girls. I was walking to class and saw a girl wearing a pin with her sorority letters and I stopped her and explained my challenge to her. It felt really awkward at first but the second I explained what I was doing her face lit up. We ended up having a quick conversation after We took the photo. Even if you’re not in a fraternity you could do the same thing just say something like “my friend and i have a bet that i can’t get a photo with a girl from every sorority” or something. This is a really easy excuse to approach girls you normally wouldn’t talk to.
