cheers indeed. I am lucky in that I have a batch of friends who have supported me through this, and they continue to surprise me. I feel so bad, and like I'm doing horrible things... because I'm cutting my ex wife off and forcing her to start a new life that does not include me. despite my feelings of being evil, my friends re-assure me. They say stuff like, "I saw her treating you like that and I thought it was fucked up when I saw it". It's really rejuvenating to know I'm not completely alone …

Im in a similar headspace right now. My ex wife just does shit all the time that serves no fucking purpose... other than to get back at me somehow as far as I can tell. Frankly... she didnt wait till the divorce to act that way. she's always acted that way. It just got worse after the divorce started. And for what???? this was a good post. I can relate. my stbxw really turns on the niceness when she's not getting what she wants and my dumb monkey brain keeps thinking if the last couples days were so nice maybe I should just call off the divorce. But thats what I did the first few times I filed and as soon as a slipped back in she turns up the horribleness. the next month I'd be sleeping on my brother's couch for the 9th time that year. All this stress simply isnt worth it. a good marriage should not be a roll…
