They spend every waking hour thinking about it and end up wasting precious time that they could be spending bettering themselves or with friends. No relationship is ever a waste of time, you probably learned something from the experience. But if you’re attracting the type of people who are manipulative and end up trying your trust there may be some room for improvement in certain places in your own life. All you can really do is work on yourself to be the absolute best that you can and hope that one day you’ll find someone who has similar goals and values in life. I saw a video by CRP about how they can’t be loyal and he used Genghis Khan’s wife as an example.
