This seems very extreme. I'm not going to assume anything, but have you tried to find a therapist to talk these things over with? A general rule of thumb, If everyone is crazy and you're sane, you might actually be the crazy one.

Because the current social narrative allows feminists to view men as oppressors, so it isn't hate speech in their eyes to dehumanize men. Men's subreddits that are derogatory to women are shut down, brigaded, or publicly ridiculed on the news. There is societal backlash for being involved in perceived misogyny. To answer your question, they're toxic because they are allowing themselves to be bigoted

I recently got out of a long term relationship that shattered my sense of self confidence. I've been spending a lot of time working on myself. Working on myself, not just physically (I'm down 20 lbs in the last 3 months) but also my mental health. Words of affirmation, treating myself with the kindness that I treat others with, journaling to sort my emotions and thoughts, taking time to sit and meditate. It looks like you're in a dark spot right now OP, but tomorrow is always another day, anothe…

Every movement and ideology has good points, mediocre points, and bad points. People love to claim it's all or nothing, and you're either with it or you're against it, but I'm a firm believer in cherry-picking good qualities over bad qualities. There are aspects of feminism that I find to be completely valid. There are aspects of feminism that I find to be absolutely repugnant. Same goes with MRAs. That doesn't mean I won't support the people with valid struggles, though. Without feminism, we wo…

I have a very firm rule in my life. If the police are ever involved, the relationship needs to be over. No matter the who, the what, the why, or the how, end the relationship and move onto healthier paths

My brother went through a similar situation with his ex, but not nearly extreme. She got him arrested at custody swap in front of their kids because he "harassed" her. The story came out in court, she called three different police officers to get him arrested, the first two told her it wasn't worth it and to bring it up in court. The third one got a slightly altered story that made it sound like she was in fear for her life. This didn't bode well for her in court and the judge really put the scr…

You're internalizing it too much. The only reason this has power over you is your fear of being found out. What happened, happened, you can't go back and change it, but if you don't want it to have power over you anymore, you need to own it. I'm not saying go out there and yell it from the roof tops, but if it is ever found out, just say, "Yeah, I did it. Money was tight, so I went out and made a quick buck. It's not that big of a deal". Some people will try to act like it's a big deal, but if i…

Even though I'm definitely left leaning in life, I can't support the DNC. They're so completely out of touch that they don't even realize how to bridge the gap back. I've been in a union company for the last 10 years. The DNC says, "We support unions" then doesn't do a damn thing to support them and then actively makes it easier for immigrant labor to enter the country which is the single biggest threat to organized labor. They've spent the last 10 years demonizing men, but now they want men to …

F...FF...FFF...FUCK NO That being said, the courts are much more responsive to active fathers than they've ever been before, but it will absolutely never be in the father's favor unless the mother turns out to be a POS, and she'll be given opportunities aplenty to prove just that

My gf has a radical feminist friend that I've since cut entirely out of my life, but back when I used to entertain this woman, to make my gf happy, I would always accuse her of being a racist just to watch her head spin. She'd make a comment about men, I'd tell her that it was racist, she would huff and puff that it had nothing to do about race but men in general, to which I would say, "But you're talking about black men which is racist". She'd then try to retort something again about it being m…

The terminology/re-writing of language to be PC is really annoying, but if you don't talk the talk, people will completely ignore the substance of what you're saying and jump down your throat over pronouns instead of having an intellectual conversation. It's a shame, but it is what it is. I learned it just for my cousin's sake. We come from a big family, and not everyone is accepting of their decisions, so I try to at least be a bright point for them when they come into town. Life is hard enough…

I would say Mae Martin's identity resonates more with my cousin presently. Pre-transition, I think my cousin felt out of place because they were more masculine than most girls their age. As they progressed through transitioning, I think they realized they didn't want to be a full fledged male. They were more masculine than girls, but less masculine than boys, but didn't realize it until they were crossing the threshold.

I have a cousin AFAB who started the transition to male. They made it approximately 3/4 of the way through transitioning, had multiple surgeries to appear more masculine, did HRT for 2+ years. They started going be he/him pronouns for a short period of time, then like you say, OP, did a complete 180. They now identify as non-binary, they're engaged to a cis male who's a really great guy, and they essentially live their life and represent themselves as female but use they/them pronouns. I've talk…

While anecdotal and only an infinitesimally small sample size compared to every single male to female interaction in the world. Of the dozens, if not hundred+ men I've seen be rejected, not one has reacted violently. Only one reacted "physically", but they laid down on the floor and pretended to be blackout drunk. It was ridiculous, but pretty funny to everyone else who witnessed it Of the one dozen girls I've seen be rejected by men, 4 of them reacted physically, so 33%. Mostly clothes pulling,…

I think the 10% number comes from criminal cases in which the defendant (man in this case) is found not guilty or cases in which the complaint is withdrawn. It simply cannot include the sheer number of accusations that are never officially reported, but are shared amongst a peer group, or are reported to an educational institute that "handles it in-house".

My comment was turning into a dissertation, so I deleted most of it and re-worded parts for brevity. I mainly just looked at the ramifications of a blatantly false allegation that gets thrown out in court. Being found guilty of a false accusation is horrific as well

I left a comment explaining my experience with a false allegation the other day. It's a legitimate fear for both sides. Women have every right to fear being raped. Men also have every right to fear being falsely accused. Because being raped and being falsely accused of rape are two separate things. Rape is an exceptionally heinous act that deserves the harshest punishment imaginable, when actually committed. A false accusation means no rape occurred and yet the man will still have to defend hims…

Na, I'm good now. It was hell at the time, but I got through it. I'm hyper aware of some women though, especially when I get that, "I can make some money off of this man" vibe. I'm definitely a relationship kind of guy because of what happened. I've had maybe 3 one night stands in my life, and all 3 of them stressed me out way more than I should have let them. My advice, just don't be a womanizer, and look for a partner with strong morals.

Take solace in that if it happens again, you'll be able to defend yourself in a trial at least. It's not 100% fool proof, but you'll be given an opportunity to speak your side of the story. I was falsely accused when I was 15 by my gf's mom. She found out by going through my gf's phone that we were sexually active, so she called our school and told them I had SA'd her on school property. I wasn't expelled, but I was "asked to leave of my own volition". We both literally had to go sit in front of…

The spectrum of political ideology has been gradually shifting more and more left over the years. Even today's conservatives are a lot more liberal than they were in the 80s. 2016 was when I first noted seeing extreme feminism/man-hating become more mainstream accepted. Feminism had been about equality before then, but those spaces and organizations came under control of the most zealous members. Alongside that though, most everyone considered feminism to be a left leaning ideology, the Trans de…

I know a woman who would bid federal contracts from her bedroom under WOSB and sub out all of the work to her husband's company and other contractors who submitted bids. I think they eventually blacklisted her because her "company" wasn't self-performing any work and there is a percentage requirement. You can't blame a woman for being a feminist. It's a socially acceptable ideology that directly benefits them, so it makes perfect sense. That being said, you can't blame a man for not supporting feminism when it directly disadvantages and attacks him

I don't understand why it's called 4B instead of WGTOW. I mean MGTOW has been a thing since at least 2016, it's not like it's a new concept. Maybe because when it was men, the left bashed it as cringey, so now that they want to do it, they have to change the name

Previous generations could not only survive, but thrive on a single income. A father with a regular middle of the road job could provide for a wife and kids, and have money left over for vacations. After I got cheated on by "the one," I was very guarded for a long time. It took years to finally let my guard down and date again. I was terrified of the concept of getting my heart broken again. Here I am years later, though, in a healthy long-term relationship. If I were to catch her cheating tomorrow, I would be upset and hurt, but I don't think I could psychologically go through that level of heart break again, something in me back then died, and isn't available to be hurt again

Pretty much any time I hear an anti-male feminist talking point, my response to them is, "That's a pretty bigoted thing to say". If I say it to a man, they tend to argue back. Due simply to the area I was born in (Appalachia region) I have a lot of friends with deadbeat parents. That's still risky. It gives his mother the ability to cut him off and run off with everything he owns if she wants to, but I'm sure their relationship is strong enough that she wouldn't. Another way of doing this is owning an LLC that you manage, so you buy and sell everything through the LLC and it's separated from you as an individual, so nobody would have access to it unless they were a managing member of the LLC as well.

This leads to an issue I have with "sex work" I personally feel like it's predatory to lonely men. Men in healthy relationships (romantic or social) aren't spending every dollar they have/ borrowing money to give to an Onlyfans girls or a stripper. These women are knowingly preying on vulnerable men, giving them false affection in order to extract as much money out of the person as they can. Once the money stops coming in, the attention stops going out, leaving the man in an even worse position …

I'm firmly set in the cherry picker camp, that is I feel it's completely fine to pick points that you agree with without agreeing to the entirety of the content a person puts out. That being said, I think Jordan Peterson raises some good points, is very articulate, organized, and makes very good arguments in favor of men in today's social environment. No its very much enforced. While this is 100% anecdotal, I've had tremendous luck with the pull out method for the ~15 odd years I've been sexually active. Lifting is one of the best ways to burn fat; however, muscle is heavier than fat, so you will gain weight. I went from 250 down to 230 by eating all my meals between 9 am and 7 pm. On top of that I kept my carb intake to less than 10% per day. I predominantly ate chicken breast and green beans for lunch and dinner, I'd eat either an egg which or frittata for breakfast, both can be found in the frozen breakfast aisle in grocery stores. The best advice I can give, make your changes at a bearable p…

They arent thinking about MGTOW, they're thinking about being christian. A christian can choose to be MGTOW if they desire or they can choose to be married. One is a religion and the other is a philosophy. It's not one or the other. However many christians choose to get married because it is a sacred ceremony and something they are taught is a life goal
/r/MGTOW22/01/20 01:56 AM

I mean it varies person to person, and how seriously they practice. A lot of men are driven by their baser instincts to get married so they can have sex since masturbation is frowned upon just as premarital sex is. Some are pressured by their church community. There are a lot of factors, but no strictly speaking the are not forced to get married
/r/MGTOW22/01/20 01:53 AM

True christians very much care about getting married and having a family in faith with Jesus. It's one of the big payoffs they're taught about their entire lives

They'll need to do an investigation which will essentially just be taking statements. It's quite possible that an overzealous manager is the one demanding to make a complaint based off of an off hand comment by the employee. Attractive women are put on a pedestal these days. Any girl remotely attractive gets flooded with attention from men all day every day which in turn leads to shitty behavior, impossible standards, princess complexes, etc. Many guys have caught onto this and are finding greater success in their relationships by dating girls that aren't as attractive. Sure they could probably net the super hot Instagram Influencer who sells her nudes for $100k+, but many of them don't want to put up with that kind…

I dont think its come quite that far, but is on the right path. Corporations and government are both starting to feel the push back coming from men in the US, but it's still a long road. Definitely, she's trying to lock you in and get you committed before she puts out. Heitner said that Brown "will leave no stone unturned and will aggressively defend himself, including all of his rights in countersuits." This is what I like to see. When a woman makes such a malicious claim against you, stand up and fight with every ounce of your being to prove that they're a liar. This "Believe all women" is total crap and due process must be observed. Unfortunately for Brown, this is a Civil Lawsuit which is much harder to exonerate yourself from, but also was a poor move on …

I disagree, this was entirely a domestic situation between a man and a woman. He interposed on behalf of the woman and got to eat a pole at 20 mph for it. Now, you may say that he was inadvertently dragged into it when the car hit him and he went after the driver; however, the way the driver then stops, reverses, and then runs the man over strongly suggests to me that he had prior involvement in the situation. Had he purely been a random pedestrian the driver would've gotten tf out of there

lmao oh hell no, it was 1 and done for me. Honestly, it fucked me up though after she told me about the other times, cause I had been vaguely aware that something was up each time it happened, but believed whatever lie she told me. I've had other fulfilling LTRs since her, but she ruined me for any other woman. I'll never fully invest in a woman like I did with her. It's one of the main reasons why I'm here in MGTOW now

I was very trusting of what she told me. If she said she went to visit with her mom, then I'd believe she went to visit her mom. If she said she had work that day, I'd believe she was at work. Plus I was either in class, studying, or at work myself, so I really only saw her at night, and our sex life had already tanked to once or twice every few weeks. I donned a pair of rose colored glasses and ignored all the red flags thinking that all the issues we were having would resolve themselves once w…

You're speaking for yourself, but in your post you're speaking of women in general. Choosing to become a single mother is a viable option in life, but there are serious risks involved as well

But do you plan to keep working full time as the sole provider for your child? How will you maintain an income while simultaneously watching your child? I don't think you're realizing just how hoard it is to raise a kid. What are you going to do if your child is born in poor health? What are you going to do if the rent is increased? What are you going to do if you lose your job, or your company goes under?

It beats dying alone with cats. Most families turn out fine. Say you do not have better options. You should not be required to watch all the other single parents enjoying family life that you could have too. Dying alone with cats beats watching your child starve on the side of the road, dont you think?

I get your point and being a single mother is an option, but would you not consider that to be trapping the attractive Male who doesn't want a family? The state will require that he pay child support, so he'd be financially exploited by that woman for 18 years. Now if you're saying the woman have a child, but not draw the father into raising it physically or financially, that woman is in for a hard time. Kids, housing, food, entertainment, etc. are all expensive, and shed either have to rely on …

Had a girlfriend who would cheat on me when I made her mad. I was in college and worked, so didn't have a whole lot of free time. Me not being around/ me wanting to spend some of my free time with my guy friends would piss her off. She cheated on me with over 12 guys. Had a different justification for each and every time. She got the guy after me to knock her up, so now she's an "Artiste" on her FB while he slaves away paying child support. I came so close to having my whole life ruined by her

I mean, if we're talking percentage of responsibility it's definitely 50/50. Both parties can take steps to avoid pregnancy. Also, it is entirely possible for one party to sabotage the other party's contraception (hiding bc, poking holes in condoms, etc)

That's not true at all. There are a ton of cases against reality TV shows. Sometimes the shows get off, but not always. Lebron James, Ashton Kutcher, Storage Wars, Survivor, Pawn Stars. Some shows have even been shut down. Also, while not a successful court win, typically if the parties settle out of court it's because the show knows it will lose the case and they can throw in an NDA as part of the settlement to avoid bad publicity

I'm not sure about US state laws. You definitely have to pay tax on it, but I think you can collect the money anonymously in most places. You'd have to file it under your name though at the end of the year

There was no woman. His company was likely trying to find a way to shit-can him for sometime. Because of #metoo, a false allegation is all you need, even it's 100% fabricated false. I feel for your friend, I really do, but from the way they were treating him, they were wanting him to quit, so they wouldn't have to pay severance. I don't know if firing him due to "sexual misconduct" has opened some other loophole for them or not though

My best friend growing up would always focus 100% of his efforts into getting laid, and it would drive me nuts that he couldn't just go out and have fun without chasing girls all night. He know lives 10 hours away from home and has a newborn with a girl he's only known for 2 years. She's got him hook, line, and sinker.

I'd say the standards set forth by other men in western society can be rough, but at the same time it's what teaches young boys what it means to be a man (excluding the toxic masculinity side of things). You can make the same argument on the feminine side of things in that women are much harsher judges of other women than men are of women

The common law rules are different per province, some are three years, some are 12 months. Figure out what it is based off of where you live. When it comes to punitive damages from a common law relationship, I don't think you would really have to pay a lot if she doesn't take it before some kind of court. So IMO you should try to keep this break-up as cordial as possible. Option A) Do what you gotta do to work up the courage to have a confrontation with her. Sit her down and say "I need to be ho…

What I'm getting at is when I'm single I'll sleep around and be "friends" with the girls, but when I meet a girl I really like and we have a good connection, I will put more time and effort into making plans and seeing them and a relationship will naturally form (if it's meant to b…

You made the right choice. Company culture is often over-looked in the hiring process. It's better to go for someone who may not be as "qualified" that will fit in and be able to train, rather than someone who is "qualified/ over-qualified" who is a real bitch and pisses everyone off. One shitty new-hire can have a severe impact on company morale.
