I try not to be too hard on myself when I "treat" myself to something outside of Paleo. I try to keep it to 2-3 times a week max though. Seeing the small changes in a short time gave me a lot of motivation. I even pointed it out to him and he couldn't hide the smile, definitely another big motivator. The thing is I broke my right wrist, I am right handed... It has made handjobs, blowjobs and practically any type of job very hard (no pun intended). Not because "woah is me", but because doing any …

I've used it for pain in the past, since it works off of the same receptors as opioids it does have similar affects, I.e loss of sexual drive (accept for when I take the extract, then I'm a bigger slut than normal). The reason I chose Kratom over pills was because of the addition rate being much much lower. I couldn't not use something for pain. My wrist was mangled and I have pins in it now. I've dealt with pain, a lot... this was different, I had to do something.

Very very true. I can't see myself leaving my husband if these specific roles were reversed but as a woman if my man was just not being a man, we'd have issues for sure.

Yes, staying at home has been hard. I enjoy it some days and others I feel like less of a person since I am not contributing financially. I have never not worked, so it is definitely a humbling experience. I should be cleared for weight training soon here, which is my passion in the gym. As of now I'm doing yoga and lots of stretches to keep myself limber at the very least. It has helped my healing as well. I used to be a very positive person, always seeing the good in everything. This has made …

Absolutely. I have always been a woman who can take care of herself. We've prided ourselves on being a couple who wanted instead of needed one another. I never knew relying on him like this could feel so good... the world has been lifted off my shoulders. Yes I am still healing and I am not near 100%, but I am definitely happier & less stressed then before when I was working full time while going to school full time. Our marriage has seen a few good things come from this at least. I can even see…

They said it could be up to 5 years before I don't have any more noticeable affects. I am improving quickly especially since I've been able to focus on healing and I am literally doing anything and everything to ensure a full recovery.

I think one of the biggest lessons I've had to learn was letting go. I have had to give up my control and trust him so much more. It has actually made him do even better as a husband if that makes sense.

That's a good question... the best answer would be because my mind is different. I struggle with remembering my address, I've woken up and been scared because I don't remember my name for a moment. My mind feels like it's working 10 times harder even though I'm using it a lot less. I suppose it's hard to explain. Some days I have a few moments of normality but for the most part I feel lost and foggy. I suppose my brain has priorities and sex just hasn't made the list yet. Which is a complete 180…

I've asked for advice there before but I had almost no responses. Only two and they basically told me I needed to suck it up and do better.

I agree 100%. My doctors wanted me on the Paleo diet. I struggled for months to get there since I wasn't really capable of cooking like I used to. I just recently went onto it strictly and I have seen changes. Definitely not as fast as I'd like them to be though. Lol

Very true and I totally agree. I have asked but I feel he may be holding back because he is very concerned about me. He has been so wonderful through this whole thing, literally I don't know what I would do without him.

They gave me 20 pills at first, I never refilled. I know what pain killers can lead to. I am using Kratom and weed for pain. I LOVE my chiropractor. He uses ultrasound therapy with me and it has helped a ton. I am seeing a total of 6 doctors, all of them helping me heal in the most efficient & natural way. I am doing everything from hypnotherapy to physical therapy. I've been on hormone therapy for years to regulate me. The accident has definitely altered my chemistry. My doctor has changed my h…

I appreciate you approving this. It's been weighing heavy on my mind. I refused narcotics past the first 20 they gave me. I know what that path leads to. I am using Kratom and weed for pain now. It isn't just about the sex drive, I am always exhausted. I miss sex with him. I miss that intimacy, I miss that release. I literally sleep 15ish hours a day now. I've fallen asleep while trying to please him, which made me feel horrible... thankfully he was sweet about it. You are right, I need to pleas…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
