I never said disorder I said you are a hysteric. read the eu psychoanalysis link. From the sound of it you are probably subclinical bpd if you want to use DSM shit but I disagree with the DSM. Then read the links from those google books. Yes, from the very little contact I have been able to assess you and your bf. It took me reading several thousand pages to be able to do that. The book on perversion describes the hysteric pervert couple. In psychoanalysis psychopathy is refered to as perversion…

thank you I am gald you get it.... I really think it is these kind of women that drive guys to trp... That is the major reason I didn't pull bule pill flair. I went and read on blue pill and I heard a lot of sentiment of that sort and it is complete bullshit. It is a part of a larger overall narrative that oppresses men and women. There are people who game that narrative in both sexes whether aware of it or not.

but he us being judged as not a man for putting women on a pedestal by other women. First off should he be judged? second forget should he already is being judged for not being manly enough by women.. are those women being misandryish or misogynistic?

tbh I see that as a part of misogyny where women are held on a pedestal of being delicate princesses or whores and the man to treats a woman like a princess is not a real man and a real man treats women like a whore but is slick about it. The entire narrative I described stems from male narcissism the sad thing is a lot of women are themselves misogynists even many that claim to be feminists they are still trapped in the misogynistic narrative. because lets be honest here the girls that judged t…

why bullshit around with this dark triad? lets call it what it is psychopathy. I really think designating the psychopath to serial murderer is a disservice to humanity and should be brought down to the everyday. when you use the word psychopath the ethical imperative of it all really becomes an unavoidable factor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't be devastated by one of these people - READ By M. Clifton on June 3, 2006 Format: Mass Market Paperback Without Conscience has a lot of information that will help someone distinguish an everyday Psychopath from the rest of the population. Yes it speaks of famous cases, it speaks of prison inmates, but it also covers the ground that most of us walk on every single day. Grocery stores, work, church, school, etc. Not all Psychopaths are criminals, nor do all of them turn ph…

I dare you to read through this little segment of the thread and the links I provided. Or continue with your little Ayn Randian delusion of grandeur. Randians are scared little children pretending to be in control but really it is no more than a small child imagining themselves as superman. I used to do that too... when I was 3.

see, now in this post. He references his gf whom whos jouissance he is in control of as a way to validate to himself he is powerfull. That's why a few posts ago he "needed me to analyze," so once again he could attempt to position him self in the position of my jouissance. The position of the sociopath is not truelly alpha it is merely a fraudulent attempt to position themselves in the position of the others source of jouissance. kinda funny... see for the sociopath. I am using you as example of the inherent needy vulnerability of soicopaths to anther subreddit. The sociopath needs to see themselves as in control of the others source of jouissance. This is their only source of enjoyment because really they posses nothing of their own desire. something traumatic happened between the age of 3-5 in your life. I am sorry. So, you get caught up in this pattern of becoming who other people want you to be and begin to resent them for it once you win them over and they submit to your desires because once they do they are no longer desirable. It has a name hysterical neurosis. what ever that happened when you were little was too traumatic for you so you can't remember it... it didn't register fully you blocked it out.

yes, I know you didn't read it that was self evident. Instead in an attempt to act out and undermine me you betrayed your position. You exposed what you desire something to "fuck the shit out of" that something being a "bitch that belongs in the kitchen" so you can "continue to come home to a hot fresh meal everyday." your gf being a hysteric and the hysteric posing the question "who am I?" will become those things in a effort to become exactly what the father figure wants in order to control hi…

I think what is important is for myself to be in possession of my desire and to create that narrative. As is often said in psychoanalysis "desire is desire for the (m)Other." So, when I create a narrative in which I pursue what it is I desire it creates attraction. It allows women to be able to see themselves in my narrative in the position of the other which allows them to see themselves as desirable and in turn makes me desirable. I have in certain times of my life been extremely focused on ac…

The Hysteric Versus The Pervert •Is Zizek the Pervert or the Hysteric? In Chapter 5 of the "The Ticklish Subject" Zizek writes "Why Perversion is Not Subversion." By referring to Freud and Lacan, he states that "hysteria and perversion - not perversion - offer a way into the Unconscious." Zizek says that hysteria is much more threatening to the hegemony (247) and provokes the "Master ambiguously" and that it includes doubts and questions. Whereas perversion is socially constructed (247) and unde…

well I havn't heard your story so I don't know about your situation. I can't usually just hear that short of a story and be able to put it together like I did there but that story was textbook. It has more to do with my understanding of a few positions in the cluster B spectrum and investigating the trp mythos in relation to that. TRP's mythic chad thundercock alpha is essentially a sociopath. It doesn't mean all dominant type of guys are sociopaths. It was her story itself that revealed a patte…

pretty much. The women who are trying to dominate men through mothering them and acting hypersexual are the ones that find these so called dominant men so attractive. There is a diagnostic criteria for these kind of women namely hysterical neurosis and the men they often end up with for the long haul are perverts aka sociopaths. Here is the thing the sociopath doesn't even love them. Hysterics can only sustain love for guys who are incapable of love, any deep sense of empathy or even compassion.…

yeah honestly most women I have heard discuss it said they like guys with huge dongers mainly because the huge donger gives them confidence. it's true one of the top 10 hottest women I have ever seen in real life was dating a very tiny dwarf. I tried to get my mind around it then it hit me the dwarfs hand and arm was like a baby arm and the size of an huge dick and he had two of them in case one arm got tired.

it is real simple if those people don't get what they need they are forced to starve or steal. It is a slippery slope when that is peoples option to make ends meet much less acquire basic status symbols as to not feel ashamed of themselves. I would probably consider myself a radical leftist but I am not really sure tbh. The issue as I see it is if their is no dream on the left people will turn to where there is a dream and that is the far right wing religious fundamentalism. lol... dark triad is a lot more common than you might think. The issue is people tend to see it as normal when it is in front of them. They can care about people but in the sense that those people are their posessions. When I say it like that it sounds dark and scary but on trp people refer to women as things to posses all the time.

have you actually known a real sociopath? You probably do without realizing it but they stand out pretty clearly to me. I meant terpers or 'many people that turn to trp.' The real issue is sexism. Where men feel a part of themselves is not considered manly and women a subjugated to the role of male fantasy objects and rendered invisible.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/16 12:30 PM

thats not what I am talking about. I am not talking about how to manipulate others through conversational strategy. Or touching stories to demonstrate ones value. I am talking about the real pain inside that is fucking scary that we create narratives to hide from.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/16 11:37 AM

it means you don't have to repress your pain but instead find a way to symbolically express it grieve and move on. It wouldn't be something one would feel they have to hide or be ashamed of. To get that angry though is a kind of impotence an inablility to incorporate their narrative in the meta narrative they exist in so it comes out through anger. anger is important to be sure to find the hurt but then the next step is to incorporate that vulnerability that caused the pain into a way that is sy…

narcissism is ever present it is necessary to create a narrative. The issue is when things come into our life that challenge our narrative. Is one willing to reevaluate it and cocreate a mutual narrative or "keep frame" and impose their narrative on others where the other has no narrative of their own except that which they are assigned.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/16 10:18 AM
1

the issue, as I see it, is that men like everyone get hurt. Now imagine you are in war and your vulnerability is your feet. If you do not tend to your vulnerable parts of yourself and instead pretend they don't exist you will get trenchfoot and die.

so how would feminism benefit men? It would liberate men from the burdain of associating vulnerability with weakness. It would give value to mens vulnerable side in the dominant narrative of society.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/16 09:22 AM

ok in a nutshell. women would like to be valued not just as a male fantasy object but for the inherent value of their own narrative. Just like men would like to have value not just as some mythic stoic figure but as someone that has vulnerabilities as well. feminism is really about both sexes being allowed to have value in their entirety. in light of what I just said many trps really should be feminists so they can contribute to creating a narrative where they vulnerable side is valued rather th…

an ass slap communicates a message. Now, what message does it communicate? is it a pat on the head like a master to its dog? or is it communicating I am not your master but I am persuing you because I see you as valuable enough to persue. it really depends on the context of the narrative. Is the ass slap one of putting her in her place or one of validating her as desirable and worth persuing. If the ass slap is one of dismissing her narrative she gonna be pissed. this comes down to be able to read her social cues and understanding her. Does she feel understood or not? if it is one of validating the mutual narrative of her as desireable she might give the look as part of the narrative whereby the look expresses her voice.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/16 08:29 AM

are you kidding me with the the rihanna example? It is no secret that people like being desired. the issue is not that women don't like being viewed as on object of desire the issue is that when their only commodified value becomes as a male fantasy object and their voice is dismissed. women would like to be valued not just as a male fantasy object. Just like men would like to be able to have value as someone that has their own insecurities as well.

what I see you Fiona saying here is you desired to be desired. The attraction to "go getters" seems to be inline with your desire to be desired because what that guy goes and gets is desirable. That seems to spark a fantasy for you where you see a "go getter" then that attracts you to invite in some way for the go getter to go and get you. it has nothing to do with inferiority but the go getter then must abide by the paramaters of your fantasy of how you desire to be persued. actually no because the thing one desires does not necessarily have to do with self image. Narcissism does come into play though in terms of how one sees themselves in relation to their narrative about persuing what it is one desires.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/16 07:02 AM

yeah it is. narcissism is a complicated topic though and something I am still grappling with understanding. Narcissism is not inherently bad or anything like that but it is blinding to the reality of others and there are many types of narcissism. the real issue is projective identification and when it becomes ideologically sanctioned.

what she is saying is not alpha fux beta bux. She is saying she wants a man that knows what he wants and persues it. She wants a guy that presents a narrative that expresses his desire. That's what it boils down to. If a guy does not present a narrative where he expresses his desire then there is no position for the woman in that narrative to become the object of desire. this is different than a guy being really nice to a girl then getting angry when he gets turned down. In this story they were fucking. When you and someone are fucking and you have feelings and the other person just used you as a mastebatory device and they think aww the mastebetory device is sad. That is majorly different than what cujji described in the other thread.

if you go back to freud and Lacan. They focus on the role of the father. Freud himself states that religion is like an obsessional neurosis. What is focused on by Lacan is how when we enter language we enter a preexisting narrative that informs us of how everything relates to each other. He calls this the symbolic order and the symbolic order is presided over by a 'chad thundercock.' When we enter langage we are symbolically castrated as our fathers "no" means our access to our mother becomes me…

read the Melbourne lacanians blog. It isn't out right said but it is implied through the founders emphasis on anal projections and scatological associations is an arrested development in the anal stage. Arrested development in the anal stage is indicative of obsessional neurosis and 'covert narcissism' is a term taken from a paper on obsessional neurosis from the 70's. That is not to say all Obsessional Neurotics would be NPD. Actually what many people think of when they think of NPD is in psych…

I read the foundational texts of cbt, rebt, schema therapy, DBT, Positive psychology, attachment theory, Cluster B personality disorders, then worked back from their to psychoanalytic texts. I don't consider myself an expert by any means but the cognitive behavioral model is flawed. It is not that I am not familiar with it is that its founders had NPD and created a model to suite their personality type.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/16 12:06 PM

also dude psychoanalysis isn't intro level stuff that has been moved past. Any time cbt needs a deep level of anylsis to create a model it always steals from psychoanalysis it always has it is just the founders never understood the deeper aspects of psychoanalysis.

lol. no. "chad thundercock" is symbolic phallus under which a narrative is created in the name of evolutionary psychology. On television in commercials they will show a symbolic phallus then indicate what has value. How and what we value is filtered through these narratives we are bombarded with them and they become internalized. the same reason on the what is normal threads the age group people identified with tended to be a "tv average."

our drives are informed by the conch in psychoanalysis they call it phallus. Like if everyone is at a campfire and someone with a guitar starts singing they now have phallus they are creating a narrative. Being this so called alpha is only about creating narrative. Society exists in it's own narrative and sells stuff to people to give the status to create their own narrative that exists within societies. It is like those Russian dolls. That is what it comes down to creating a narrative where you…

the whole 'alpha' that one fears is really just a stand in for dominant narrative. It is not an actual person i.e. god is not some white bearded man in the sky. Think of this in terms of the conch in 'Lord of the Flies.' Who holds the conch gets to speak and their narrative becomes the dominant one. Find something to symbolically represents your conch that creates your narrative in your life. Just realize that it is an illusion it is always an illusion.

the demonization of nice guys stems from mysoginy. Thinking women are less shallow and more virtuous is just reverse mysoginy. Both are forms of mysogeny. Neither are about equality. The problem with crushes or love in general is love is violent. In love people expect things from the other person. In love we choose this one person and put them above everyone else which is violent.

the manosphere is as I see it in general a place where men go to explore what is bothering them then told that is beta and not to be beta. Then with a laundry list of stuff to focus on to prevent being beta. The overwhelming focus is on self image, i.e. narcissism. it came with the creation of a symbolic dimension that evolved like a language. Organised religion as we know it is different to tribal style religions. It is probably easiest to explain through aboriginal Australians culture. They believe they sing reality into existence and used songs as a map throughout the continenet that describes the original journey of their ancestors. We spoke a new dimension into existence a symbolic one and this seperates us from other animals.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/16 06:26 AM

No, Chomsky disproved this language, as in human languages arrives complete with grammar. It is not in written language that we developed grammer it comes innate in spoken language. Language creates map that overlays reality and we interact with that reality through that map vis a vis language.

the entire premise is based on manipulating someone else into becoming dependent upon you to validate a self image one wants to see themselves as. I think it is less about intrusive thought patterns which is a symptom and more about creating a positive self image to identify with the fault for not being to identify with that image being blamed on the influence of women. More specifically I think that is a mythologized reference to ones own mother and a failure on behalf of the father in some way. So it becomes projected into becoming this superman to hold the demands of the internalized mother at bay.

within each persons narrative their is a position for an other. Sharing a narrative where the other is this person and the relation to this other is not based on them validating an image of superiority but one that brings you out of the insecure position of needing to feel superior, which is an extremely needy position. The type of connection I speak of is where you discover the vulnerable parts of yourself in this other person and not only love them but love them for not who they are for you as…

I don't think that it is only insecure damaged girls fall for trp. It really seems like it is more aimed at manipulating the part of women that is insecure, just like their is a part of everyone that is insecure. The thing is it requires the women to be insecure and employs strategies such as dread game to manipulate women into feeling insecure to become dependent on a form of manipulative abuse.

the problem is when you do that you put sex on some kind of pedestal. Enstead of actually connecting which leads to sex you push away the possibility by being a self righteous asshole. The only girls really attracted to that are ones that have their own issues. The thing you create for both of you connect to it a power control game and that will attract girls with similar issues with illusions of grandeur like you described.

these are not real divisions they are mythological in nature. That is why in psychoanalysis it is refered to as "the myth of the obsessional neurotic." WHen they refer to the four way split the split of love object and split of self image. Further more Freud went on about how religion resembles a sort of obsessional neurosis. In light of that TRP is a cult.

try reading Freads work 'On Narcissism' that is where the term narcissism comes from in modern times. DIfferent people evolved the concept to mean something else. It should be appearent by looking at the famous painting of narcissus that it is about his focus on his own self image as he is doing in the painting. the word narcissism has taken on a different meaning as frueds term had become common place with little understanding of frueds concepts themselves. narcissism by definition is focus on the body and self image. My source is freud when he invented the concept and the story from ancient Greece where he took it from. their was a shift from the 60's where their was a large focus on changing society to the 70's where a culture of self transformation emerged. this "most effective person" is a self image you strive for. you wanna know the secret to attraction besides status? It is to be able to connect to a chick the way you do when you were in school as a kid and the teacher did something weird and everyone looked at each other. Where you feel that level of comfort where you and the chick are the ones who look at each other. that kind of connection. that is all their is to it you and her need to share a narrative together tied together by some symbolic items from a shared experience.

if you have certain paramaters in place attracting women is really easy. You just have to have enough status within the context and make the connection to be at the point that if like if you were in a class when the teacher says something and you need to look at someone you both look at each other in that moment. other than that in the so called blue pill world. it is chock full of the type of stuff you like about trp which is just essentially self help self improvement type stuff. I think your assessment is pretty fair. Within the TRP model their seems quite an emphasis on how to make women dependent on men by pretending to be the thing the insecure parts in them will seek to attach to. ONE OF THE POINTS YOU GUYS HAVE MADE CLEAR TO ME IS THAT TRP DOESN'T NECESARILY SEEK SPECIFICALLY HYSTERICAL WOMEN BUT SEEKS TO HYSTERICIZE ALL WOMEN. HYSTERICAL NEUROSIS IS CONSIDERED A CONDITION THAT RESULTS FROM TRAUMA THAT MIGHT OFTEN BE CONSIDERED ABUSE. SO ESSENTIALLY THE STRATEGIES WITHIN TRP SEEK TO MANIPILATE AND COERCE WOMEN INTO SELF DESTRUCTIVE PATTERNS SO THEY BECOME DEPENDENT UPON THEIR MANIPULATOR.

You don't have to be rp to do what it is you were doing. It isn't really a conscious process and something we all do to varying degrees about different things all the time. like for me with you it has to do with trying to get my dad to see what it is he is doing. That attracts me to explaining these kinds of things to people. Which is something I also see in TRP a lot of guys wanting to explain to their dad how he failed them.

it is clearly within your own discourse which I repeatedly demonstrated. It did not take any mind reading it only took reading what you wrote. See that is why you end with a shaming response because you seek to project your own shame into me. you need to make others feel ashamed so you can maintain a false self image that does not feel shame. true narcissism doesn't need to be any more sinister. The focus on self image and the body is what narcissism is about. yeah, I know. Oh, trust me I get it, but it isn't women's or feminism's fault or a feminized society to blame. That specific aspect that makes TRP so revolting to folks is about the split love object. That more has to do with some oedipal drama.

I already stated I am an obsessional neurotic. I am not blaming TRP. What I am stating is the TRP mythos has the underlying structure of obsessional neurosis. Where TRP advocates the creation of a narcissitic self image to avoid confronting ones original narcissistic wounds to avoid pain. The issue with that is if one never deals with them they are never resolved and are typically passed on to ones children.

heres the thing the "blue pill" advice of just being yourself is a lie. actually no. I read the manosphere related forums on the web and started reading books about cbt and borderlines. Eventually I started books about psychoanalysis. The ideal promoted by both cbt, Ayn Rand and TRP are both very similar in many ways an, autonomous ego state.

I already have. The thing is most of those models of psychology tend to have the same issues I have with TRP. That is what I find highly hypocritical about a lot of the people who I have read opposing trp but pursuing the same sort of idealized narcissistic self image.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/16 09:13 PM

well you made a good point. "all ideals are imagined" The thing is it really is a master/slave thing. The issue is their is a reason the trp crowd is attracted to a certain kind of woman. Then found that the original strategy led to a break down of the relationship for reasons I described in the OP. What trp promotes though is a way to avoid the underlying issues that lead to that attraction in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/16 09:10 PM
-1

to expand though is really the irony is. The way I hear most guys describe what they want in a woman it really sounds like a nail on the head description of a hysterical neurotic woman. The thing is hysterical neurotic women are some of the most controlling women of all. What I see the emphasis being placed on is a strategy to control them by going full retard and by many descriptions outright manipulating and abusing them.

the prejudice against women is structured into the trp ideology itself. That indicates that the focus in trp is on a grandiose narcissistic self image while ones insecurities are projected onto women. The act of captaining is to feel superior to ones own vulnerabilities and uses women as an object to achieve that end.

I see where you are going. I personally do not want a controlling bossy anyone in my life. That is besides the point. The controlling bossy woman or feminized society is an excuse to justify the pursuit of a narcissistic ideal self image which is to avoid ones own inner conflict. The issue is that part of oneself is being disavowed and projected onto women which is exactly how prejudice functions.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/16 08:05 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/16 07:52 PM

it tells me that a lot of the men that go mgtow or trp specifically do so out of a reaction to a lot of emotional pain on behalf of a failure of the function of the father so they create a narcissistic self image to avoid the original truamas.

I mostly have just listened to peoples discourse within the manosphere. Read various foums. The thing is a lot of the basic premises are not confined to the manosphere so it is not like I villianize the manosphere specifically. If you want me to sum up what most of those books are about it is the creation of an autonomous ego state that rises above the pain of the perceptions of others. Which is very much in line with the ideology of Ayn Rand and neoliberalism.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/16 07:38 PM

I am just describing an underlying structure. If you look it is hard to deny.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/16 07:34 PM

Actually, within psychoanalysis the basis for describing prejudice is based on describing "what is a man." Where what a man is is based on describing what a man is not. In manosphere general terminology "beta."
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/16 07:31 PM
-1

no, because this ideal woman is an imagined ideal that is essentially everything the bossy controlling woman is not. It still leaves room for the ideal woman to become bossy if the man does not maintain his "alpha" composure. It is really more about the underlying structure I mentioned in the OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/16 07:28 PM

see, their is the split in the love object. "controlling bossy women." Some of the signifying language is interchangeable but the underlying structure remains.

Yes, their is a heavy focus on narcissism in the PUA world as well. Their is a lot of cross over which is why I stated the underyling structure is consistent throughout the entirety of the manosphere.

I am not focusing on behaviors those are your associations. I said focus on self image which by definition is narcissism.

see, the insistence on "all women" serves to pigeon hole women into category that can be controlled through the creation of a narcissistic self image. To be able to include feminists in all women the split love object becomes projected onto 'feminized society.'

I read quite a bit on the red pill threads. As well as other realms within the manosphere. At least in the TRP and mgtow people are trying to work out inner issues, in the PUA realm it is strictly hedonistic narcisisism.

It is not life it is narcissism. Although the focus on self image is a pervasive trend within society it is everywhere this focus on self realization according to attaining an idealized self image. So actually it would be very blue pill if we are going to strictly adhere to the analogy mapped out in the matrix.

No, I get it. The creation of a narcisisistic self image that one is control of. That way it causes the woman to persure in order to gain control of that image because once she has it the fantasy breaks down and she loses desire. I addressed this in my opening post.

what I am saying is the whole a captain to secure the ship implies their is something the ship must secure which is controlled by the captain.

have you even looked at anything in the manosphere? Their is a large emphasis on how to be "alpha" sure the signigying word of alpha may be replaced by some sort of self image that is impervious to pain and in control. This is in direct opposition and in relation to a self image of a man controlled by women which is the great fear. What then becomes alpha is basically that which is not controlled by women or society and then the association is made that society is feminized.

The split I refering to is the split of the love object ie woman. Women are characterized as submissive or feminist. What is implied is that womend need to be reigned in and controlled by the man. This has to do with an earlier relationship where their was a failure on behalf of the father to properly sever the connection between the child and their mother and integrate the child into society. This is why in TRP their is so much emphasis placed on the role of the man, it is an unresolved conflic…

Actually, I sympathize with a lot of the TRP crowd. I think what led them to it is a lot of pain that many people will never even know.

well, I have seen this emphasis placed on "submissive women." I read numerous threads where a redpiller who has sort of reached their 'inner peace' describing what they seek is a submissive woman who needs to be related to as a hysterical child that needs a captain. If they need to see themselves as a captain relating to someone who is hysterical that implies emotionaly arrested development in the woman as well as the man.

narcissism is by definition one relating to their own self image so yes "so narcissitic," you are correct.

I think that has more to do with trend within society to "realize your potential," self realization nonsense. We all feel this pressure to realize our true potential so when one presents themselves as that it creates an attraction to what is essentially a narcissistic self image.

exactly the "mystical CHad," being the "alpha male." So, the goal becomes how to imagine oneself as the "alpha male" in order to attract insecure women while remaining in some way unobtainable to keep insecure women ie. hysterics from reaching that point where the fantasy breaks down.

I am pretty sure I nailed it.

yes, feminism is about equality and has done that largely through pointing out male narcissism. This also means women have the right to act just as narcissiticaly as men. That is to say narcissism occurs in both mean and women. So the issue that people really tend to have against feminism is really an issue with narcissism itself.
