The TRP seems to me to be a place largely for obsessional neurotic men to develop strategies for attracting hysterical neurotic women without getting hurt.

Obsessional neurosis, according to Psychoanlysis in the vein of Lacan is characterized by an underlying structure, a four way split, that seems to be consistent throughout the entirety of the manosphere its self.

The four way split is characterized by the split of the love object and the split of the self image.

So the split of the self image would be the 'alpha' and the 'Beta.' While the split of the love object would be the 'submissive woman,' and the 'feminazi.'

Hysterics are characterized by the question, "who am I?" and have an internal fantasy whereby they become who they feel an imaginary idealized father wants them to be in order to control the father. The issue for the Hysteric is this fantasy is mediated by the father being unobtainable and once they have fully obtained the commitment of the partner to be who they desire the fantasy collapses and with it the desire for their partner.

These types of relationships are devastating for the partner of the hysteric to say the least. What I think happens is guys go through a relationship like that trying to be this person and it doesn't work out and they feel the only place they are heard and understood is within the manosphere and specifically TRP.

TRP provides a space to vent while projecting that underlying structure into a myth that makes sense of it while providing them with the goal of a narcissistic self image to attain that will prevent them from experiencing pain.
