it's more convenient to think the guy you view as a friend and nothing more thinks the same. and as long as he acts respectful there's not really a reason to think he would want stuff i dont want.

so i dont have any experience with what you said but one thing that came to my mind immediately: maybe you could try wigs? i dont know how costly or not they are but at least those will give you time to grow your hair back ?

I probably didnt make myself clear enough. I dont disagree with you. it's just the one thing that sounded over-simplified so I tried to add something.

i know it's a shit argument i just hate when the only blame is put on the victim. i'm sure that's not what you meant but it's just always what it seems like. and easy access means we shouldnt be wearing skirts.

it doesn't really matter what women wear. women have gotten raped wearing burkas. and i think we can all agree those dont scream sexy. obviously i wouldnt dress slutty or flip my shit when someone looks at me (that's a compliment, after all) but it's not as easy as that.

so maybe that's a cultural difference but what if he has a weekly poker night with his buddies or something? from my understanding, unless they're in vegas, casinos are black tie places, so it's not like anyone goes there all the time ?

why do they have to be a specific age range? can they drink occasionally, and if not why not? can they gamble occasionally, if not why not?

it really depends on the kind of guy you want. a beta who is shy/insecure and has difficulties approaching women will most likely love to be approached. an alpha will think your SMV is low for some reason and that that's the only way you feel you meet people/you seem desperate to him. i can't really speak for men but that's what my boyfriend has told me. but i'll ask him about it later. you will receive the most messages from guys who want sex and only sex. they dont get that by being selective …

I met my boyfriend on OkCupid so here's my 2 cents: dont message guys first, it makes you look desperate. that's actually what my boyfriend said about women who message first. he really didnt take his profile serious. basically everything it said was how he was always drunk. i wasnt sure about messaging him back because of it but i'm glad i did. so take chances and if someone's message makes them seem super interesting, even if his profile is crap, just try it. and i guess also message guys who …

I think something that is really important and ties in with the self sufficient part is that a lot of times on deployment there will be zero communication. and if they do get wifi over there so many guys use it that skype and the like are just crap to use. the bf was only gone for like 1.5 months on his last deployment and not hearing from him really was the hardest thing for me. i cried the first three times he messaged me over facebook. i was afraid to sleep/take naps because i didnt want to m…

it sounds like that's a bunch of extra lymph fluid there (because they took part of the system that is there to transport that extra fluid away and into your blood). if it is, ask your doctor about furosemides. they will make you pee like a mad woman but it has to go somewhere, right? i dropped out of med school after 3 years so i dont know if this will really do anything.

I disagree with I guess everyone here. I think boundaries should be maintained. As in dont change in front of him, dont let him touch you where you wouldnt let a girlfriend touch you, dont do anything you wouldnt tell your boyfriend about. but then again i think that goes for female friends also. but i also dont really see how validation from a gay friend is different from validation from my brother or female friends. maybe some of you can explain?

if that's what you want and enjoy: go for it. and go places where you meet men who are smarter than you, if you're going to break up with your current boyfriend that is. i know that feeling, i couldnt be with someone who i feel is less intelligent than me. work on yourself to be the best person you could possibly be. and once you've found someone who is more successful make sure to work on your hypergamy. OR. work out your hypergamy. remember why you're happy and how great your boyfriend is. the…

but wasnt it all percentages? because that way absolute numbers of members in each group doesnt really matter.. let's say 5 couples said they attend church sometimes. if 4 of those got a divorce then that group has an 80% divorce rate after the interval that is studied. if 20 couples say they never attend church and 10 those got a divorce then that's a 50% divorce rate. but in absolute numbers more atheist couples got divorced than semi christians.

it's not either shallow or gold digger though. yes, the boyfriend is hot but not in that "traditional" channing tatum kind of way. it's so much more than that. and that wouldnt change if he got his face blown up or was suddenly wheelchair bound or whatever.

as a woman in the age group you're dating: I dont care about how much my boyfriend makes because we're at an age where it just is not a lot. careers are built over years. my boyfriend is extremely intelligent and capable and i know eventually he will succeed. i think it's part of the whole picking a good captain thing. why would i go for some boring rich dude if i have enough money anyway. there's just no need. plus i've just never experienced money being a good thing. it should be enough to liv…

but just fruit for breakfast for someone who is going to have to focus all morning isnt that great either. sure, it's healthy in and of itself but the brain needs sugar (as in carbs) that will last for a while. so bread for breakfast really isnt that bad. and she even made it herself. of course the donut was unneccessary but as i said, bread for breakfast is a good thing.

I have a friend who is dating a girl with severe depression. it's a constant struggle. everytime he talks about her he asks me for advice on what to do and how to treat her, etc. she's his first girlfriend and i think he's afraid of being lonely again so he doesnt break up with her (and he's obviously not RP at all). but i think you should also consider the other person. maybe you do find someone who is willing to start a relationship with you but then what? having those diseases means you're em…

about the cooking: you could go on the internet (or to the library for a good cooking book, no need to spend money right away) and find easy recipes that you think you will like. my favorite for when i just dont really feel like cooking is ratatouille with rice. i just chop up an onion, bell peppers, tomatoes and zucchini (amount depends on the number of people you're cooking for), throw it all in a pot, spice it with whatever i have (mostly herbs, salt, pepper) and also cook some rice. super ea…

it's just so unheard of in my family and circle of friends (though i'm in my early 20s and it's very uncommon to get married this young here) that i feel like they wouldnt understand. everytime i hear my mom talk about stay at home moms she uses this derogatory term.

the thing with unhealthy foods though is that they are seriously addicting. you wouldnt tell the wife of an alcoholic to just give him yummy alcohol-free drinks, right? it's the same way with foods like that. it's hard to overcome that constant craving for junk food. maybe even harder than quitting alcohol because eating fatty and sugary foods is what evolution made us want the most. just that now obviously there is way too much of it around. so yeah, i dont really know a solution to the problem…

I just experienced the same thing. i was over at a friends for a movie night. he had his girlfriend, me and another (male) friend over. I'm friends with the host (as in actual friends) and thought the other male there was a friend, too. well, i was wrong. it just makes me sad how someone i thought of as a friend would disrespect me and my relationship like that. literally had to keep him at an arm's length at one point. i mean how rude is that? i talked about this with the other people who were …

Hi :) I'm 22 and from Germany. I'm dating a red pill American guy and almost couldnt be happier. Cant wait to upgrade our long distance relationship to regular distance (?) next spring. I was raised by a single feminist mom but i kept noticing how that's just not what is going to make me happy (and i seriously doubt she's happy). so when i kept telling my boyfriend how he made "my woman senses tingle" he introduced me to the red pill and RPW especially. I kind of doubt that most women who put off having children have to provide for their parents and siblings, move to another country and have sick spouses. in your situation not having kids early was probably a responsible decision. and you do get to be sad about losing a child. (I'm really sorry it happened to you). but I do feel like a lot of women who put off having children is because they put an actual career (as in stressful job, shitload of money) before having kids and because they spend …

yes. I wondered where this all is coming from. i know women are told all of that. but doesnt anyone think for themselves? i was taught that that's important. so i try to question what i read and hear. it's just so weird for me to think that there are women out there who actually believe they can still have children easily when they're 40. but then again if my cousin's mother's aunt's guinea pig can do it, why cant i?

I think it's that when people ask me all i can ever say is that he's trying to come over but is not sure about his work. and it's usually their reactions that make me feel weird. like i'm supposed to be insecure about our relationship which i am absolutely not. and it's that i want to be excited but i dont want to be super disappointed when he cant come. i know i have to work on that.

haha yes, i'm german. and 12 bucks for a whole family? are you serious? when i go to those places i always spend about 6 euros (that's a burger, fries and a drink). so about 7.70 dollars. my favorite dish to cook is ratatouille with rice. i spend like 3,50 max for ingedrients. meat is more expensive but still, fast food here is way more expensive than home cooked food.

I'm new here, too so i hope this will be helpful. I feel like talking about your plans in life is just making sure you're on the same page. medical student here. the self exam is primarily there so you know your own breasts. there is supposed to be "lumpy" stuff in there. that's the part that produces the milk when you're breastfeeding. your breasts will also feel different at different times of the month. examining yourself is supposed to help you get to know your boobs and notice early on when there is something that's different than usually. that's also why you should try and check at the same time every month.
