There's no debate, that's the problem. It's a one-day old account being constantly wrong and dishonest.

You're such a liar, seriously, drop it. Yeah, special ones, TRP studies. Yes, a professor that handles homosexuality in teenagers and another one focused on sociability in African American communities are TRP psychologists. Strike one (again) Yeah, the female ones. You said "only gorillas" and gave example of bonobos of NOT having alphas. You're not even consistent! Strike two (again) Which is not even official academic discipline. So nuff said. lol. Strike three (again) Well, the kind of scienc…

I don't know how our life experiences can differ so much. When you are a young, single men you don't qualify for welfare. If your parents doesn't want to take care of you you have to work wherever you can. My country have 10 percent jobless peoples. I know many guy without any diploma. They have literally no choice, they must accept anything, including poo cleaning. Meanwhile they are good at distracting girls once in night clubs. I don't see "humiliated" in this paragraph anymore. You know the sentence, "the way you do anything is the way you do everything"? Also you can have an everyday humiliated fast food worker who happen to be good at getting laid What is "good at getting laid"? Because someone who's a fast food worker who's humiliated at work is hardly going to be a man who is attractive to many women. It just doesn't work that way. There are variations in hierarchy depending the environment, but they are not that drastic. A guy with self-respect is a guy with self-…

Let's do this. I already embarrassed you in the other post, but will do it here too: It obviously isn't used among scientists. If you google "does the alpha male exist in human society" you'll get tons of information why it is bullshit. There are studies using this terminology for humans too. It's definitely not bullshit. Strike one. Even more so, it doesn't even exist among most primates including the bonobos which are the closest to humans genetically. Bonobos have alphas as well. Strike two. …

If you bring chimpanzees here, you should mention that their "alpha" isn't the strongest or the most intimidating one, quite the opposite. Frodo Even from a young age, Frodo was large and aggressive. He learned to throw rocks as a juvenile, sometimes throwing them at and hitting and bruising his human observers. As an adult, he was one of the largest chimpanzees ever observed in the community, at about 113 pounds (51 kg) and remained aggressive. He also became an excellent hunter of red colobus …

It's not, it's related to overstimulation and how the body seeks homeostasis in that regard.

That depends on what you define as alpha, beta and successful. Drop yourself in any room filled with people. By merely observing, you should be able to feel a relative position in a social hierarchy. There are many factors at hand, in example, their socioeconomic status, their de-facto position relative to the other people in the room (bosses, managers, etc.), the personality aspect, their already existing social connections, etc. It's complex, especially considering that there's a lot of hidden…

That user is being dishonest. He talks about bonobos, but not chimps, who are as close to us as bonobos and they have alphas in their hierarchy. He's also lying saying that scientists don't use this terminology. Alpha, beta, omega, etc. have been used to talk about social hierarchies before. In example, Richard C. Savin-Williams used it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/19 02:13 PM
1

Even more so, it doesn't even exist among most primates including the bonobos which are the closest to humans genetically. Why are you leaving out chimpanzees here? I wouldn't want to think that you're being intellectually dishonest here. Chimpanzees are as close as bonobos to us and they have alphas in their hierarchies. Unless you want to question Dr. Goodall's research.

Seem pretty synonymous to me. They are not. Introverstion-extroversion is a personality spectrum, which mostly affect how the person interacts and reacts to external stimuli. For the most part, introverts require time-alone to recharge batteries, while extroverts need external stimuli to recharge. Introverts seek low-stimuli environments, extroverts high-stimuli. There are lots of studies that you can read to learn more. Shyness and social awkwardness have different origins, causes and consequen…

I have never seen Reddit subs where women go on men’s dating profiles and post their faces and public information with thousands of comments agreeing about how ugly the men are. Thing is, that was the most clear and obvious case I've had, but I have had very clear situations where the relationship cools down after opening up. My married friend is concerned that when he's sick, his wife turns into a bitch (said in more gentle words by him). It's automatic. So he has to pretend that he's fine. This is not about me. And most women have a “taller than me” policy which is still fairly easy to reach. I tend to see the shortest girls to be with the tallest men. Being 5'5'' puts you at a massive disadvantage compared to someone being 6'. Not just when it comes to romantic relationships, but also social presence. "Taller than me" also becomes "Taller than me when I'm wearing heels". So the 5'2'' woman is suddenly 5'5''.

It may be different in USA compared to Europe. This makes me wonder if cheating is so bad since I can't come up with a good argument against it; you know? Then refer back to biology. A woman cheating on her man may lead to the man raising children that are not his. That poses a grave threat for him, as he's spending his resources taking care of the offspring, the genes, of other men. A man cheating on her woman may lead to the man stopping providing for his woman, who may be pregnant or with a young baby, with obvious need for resources. Now…

You just said that women having sex in alot of TLR are considered whores. We're going into semantics then. What do you consider to be a failed relationship? Most chaste women don't magically become sex kittens just because some guy shows up. You're working under false premises. Relationship-oriented doesn't equal to some definitions of chaste. Not all sex-kitten are promiscuous. Relationship sex is not, by default, more boring than casual sex. It depends on the participants. a man to get drinks with a coworker If I'm in a relationship, I never go "get drinks with a [female] coworker". That's plain disrespectful. I would never cheat and I'd still not do this. What kind of image are you projecting to the world of yourself, your girlfriend and your relationship.

You're not following me. Stoicism is a masculine trait. I'm stoic, that's who I am. It has its positives, but it also has its negatives, in example, having some sort of pain that maybe would warrant a visit to the doctor, but I let it go. It's a side-effect of stoicism. I'm not sitting here thinking "I'm masculine, stoic, I need to skip the doctor". I'm skipping the doctor because I'm those and I accept that this can have negative consequences. I'm not imposing myself anything, I'm being account…

I've been with one like this. From Iran, 25 years old, virgin, we were together 3 years and planned to marry. She was a ticking bomb ready to explode. Clumsy at first? Yes, but sex doesn't take much skills, especially for a woman. It's about the attitude and the investment. A woman can enjoy sex (which healthy one doesn't?) and not necessarily be promiscuous. Also, a woman in a committed relationship is a man she loves is going to have more sex than a promiscuous one. It's basic math.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/19 09:19 AM

The cock carousel riders would have more experience in sexually pleasing men than other women. Not my experience. Relationship-oriented women have always been more skilled than promiscuous one. As promiscuous as they can be, they can't beat the experience and knowledge of someone who has more (quantity) sex and probably deeper (quality). If sex is really important to you, you should love being with sluts. Or being with a woman you love in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/19 09:13 AM

In my experience, women are either relationship-oriented and skip casual sex or if they are promiscuous, they may try relationships, but fail. I haven't met any women who, in an exact moment of time, compartmentalize that way.

I showed evidence of that claim. No, you haven't. You've shown the increase of the presence of women in those fields, propelled by a political push, not organically. Even so, the presence of more of them doesn't translate into getting better. You don’t see men pushing to be better represented in daycare employment. Yeah, you don't. There are certain jobs that are likely gendered as you said, but you haven't provided proof that women are better in certain areas of STEM, which has been my approach…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/19 07:20 AM

That's not the claim you made. A political push to see more women in STEM (you won't see the push to have them in dangerous jobs or a similar push to have men in other positions) doesn't have the consequences you're implying and claiming.

Everyone wants all the good parts of their preferred gender's role with none of the consequences. Not true though. I will be happy to take the burden of masculinity and its potentially negative sides. I will also be accountable for my choice of a feminine woman and its negative sides.

My point is, those relationships don't fail because of the country of origin of the woman, but because the man is weak. Mind that it's the same with the American woman and the foreign man. I think there were two cases, I believe Dominican and Moroccan men, who played the women, who were really oblivious to what was going on. It's a good show in my opinion, really shows how power works in relationships.

Doesn't work out too well for most of them. Not because of the bride. Like the overweight guy with the Russian bride, who was unapologetically a gold-digger, but quite smart and capable. The old dude with the Philippine woman? (may be misremembering the country). He tells her not to put her hands on the car windows and what she does as an answer to that? Put both. You can have someone who is intellectually your equal, working as a team, be fair and have a dominant/submissive role division, which is present in many(all) human relationships. I will give an example of my past relationships (last years). I made the calls for basically everything: What we do, where we go, what we buy, who are we, where are we going. I have always had the interests of both at heart. In that kind of situation it's very difficult for me to be selfish, because my decisions affect …

It's a tall order. No, it's a lie. What you said above is totally incorrect. You don't do anything to a woman so she's submissive, she submits to you, based on respect and trust. The moment you have to take away anything from the woman, it is no longer domination/submission, it becomes abuse. Truth be told, most men couldn't handle being the real leader of the family and having the financial responsibility for a wife and kids. Prove this. Argue for it at least, instead of just insulting men.

That's the problem. Focusing on your own behaviour is a problem? If a man ghosts a woman and she reacts in a negative way, how is he at fault? For example, when most people are ignored or "nexted" (cough, abusive silent treatment, cough) by someone they love, there's a set pattern of behaviors that a human will go through (typically the stages of grieving) due to a very primal instinct - fear of ostracism or removal from social circle. Sure there are alot of pussies to stick your dick in but the number of women you like and enjoy spending time with is far fewer. Abundance mentality is a mindset and it doesn't need to be about a large cohort of potential women, even the feeling of "If I leave this one, I know I will find another good one" can do wonders. Abundance mentality is very useful in many other areas of work where there's any sort of negotiation at hand.

Are they selling a minimalistic lifestyle or living it? My point is that I often question what people say versus what they do and no one is exempt from my scrutiny when it comes to this. In example, I'm curious about how much Rollo applies his beliefs in his marriage. It doesn't matter if the answer is "a lot" or "nothing", because I still like his overall message. Rape kits don't determine if rape has occurred. It's basically a combination of picking up DNA and noting down potential injuries (which can be the result of consensual sex). That's why in many cases they won't even be needed. In example, a man admits that they had intercourse (consensual according to him, not consensual according to her) and she admits that there are no injuries.

Rapes occur behind closed doors with oftentimes no eyewitnesses. It's "he said she said." It's a heinous crime, but for an investigator, it's damn near impossible to prove. Men leave sick/disabled partners at a higher rate than women. I think that this kind of loyalty is possible for both sexes, but it depends on how long they have been together and how deep the bond is. If I became disabled and my partner left me, I'd be very angry, but I'd understand it. I do negatively judge people who leave their sick partners, but understand it as well. I'm biased though. Because whenever the topic of "nice guys" comes up there's always this confusion about what it means by "nice" and how it differentiates between being nice and being "nice". I mean I even have to put quotes around the word "nice" to show i'm not actually talking about actual nice people. Read this.

OP doesn't have an argument. She has one of those evenings where she laments her failed marriage, so she picks a random thing that comes into her mind related to her ex-husband, father of her children, and posts it here as some theory about men.

is an idiot sociologist couching lack of understanding in long words Is this honest? has entirely never considered the cross-cultural history of gender relations Prove I claimed this. is adding flavor to text at the expense of content do not reflect an intellectually honest entrance to a dialogue. You can summarize your posts on "men are same as women" without all the flavour. Glad this triggered you, maybe next time you'll consider adding content instead of flavour.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/19 11:12 PM
1

It was. Have you ever stopped to think "why so many cultures share so many common themes?". Terror management is another shared in most cultures and religions. For me it's fascinating how I can read a text from the 8th century that can help me today with my everyday life.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/19 06:45 PM
1

It was an honest question, but you rather go that route. Have it your way. For the record, I see women as equals, but different. Things go much better for me (and for the women) since I internalized this instead of expecting the communication to be the same between genders. It doesn't work.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/19 06:35 PM
1

Don't need a sociology class to see that seeing someone as a child isn't seeing them as equally human. No, but sociology is really good at adding flavour to text and sacrificing all content. The 'system that's been at work' for generations has relied on assumptions of female moral and intellectual inferiority. Ever considered why so many different cultures and religions shared this belief?

no as a no. Point is, a "no" can actually be a "yes". It's all in the body language, context, etc. As the top comment is saying right now, it's really important to be able to differentiate between what is a playful "no" and a real "no".

Therapy follows the same path, with the vast majority of psychologists being women and the few men, being very blue-pilled. Having gone to therapy quite a bit myself, I've gone through several therapists and only one has been helpful in the end, a woman actually. She has a very strong frame and very responsible-based perspective of life. She's fairly masculin…

It's a social instinct thing. It's not like you translate anything into something else, you just give it less importance to what they really do. You probably need at least one example of a specific person to guide you. In example, some person saying "I really don't like white lies, I avoid them at all costs" and then you catch them in few white lies. It becomes much easier to start questioning other things they say, so you start looking for what they are really doing instead. I have an acquainta…

Results follow up my premise though. My best relationships have been with women with whom sex took longer. I never had to question their attraction, but due to their background and personality, sex had to wait, which is totally fine with me. As I said, I trust my instinct to determine whether they are attracted, but want to wait for different reasons. This has been the case several times and those ended being my best relationships.

You are born with a predisposition to mental disorders though. Men with mental disorders are more prone to end homeless, with serious addictions and/or incels. I think that their case is more extreme. That's my equation is about normal men who end being incels due to poor upbringing.

A woman can be attracted to me and not want to have sex on the first date. I myself don't push for it, I don't want just anyone in my bed. I have enough confidence in my social skills and intuition to guess if the other woman is interested or not, if she's stringing me along or waiting to have a higher degree of confidence. I haven't been wrong in years.

When we take out mental disorders from the equation, there's definitely a failure in the educational system (not the institution, but the aspect of educating children/teens) that leads to incels being formed.

The name tradition is really only a English-speaking country tradition. This is quite incorrect. In example, in Lithuania the wife changes her family name to be adapted to the husband's and, furthermore, via the ending of her family name you call tell whether she's married or not, as married women's name ends in -te, while single ends in -ne. The tradition is common in the other two Baltic republics and in Russia, where women tend to have a middle name, taken from the father's name (not sure if …

For me, personally, the tenets of the red pill can only be properly tested (at a personal level) if you're in a LTR. Holding frame with someone you have no connection to, see one hour twice a week just for sex, it's extremely easy. Holding frame with someone very dear to you, with whom you share space, is not so easy. I think that one of the main factors is also awareness. If you're red pill, you'll quickly notice when something is not right. And instead of falling into the trap of doing more, o…

Because casual sex is based mostly on attractiveness and location/timing. Because there's very little familiarity involved, things like frame are not tested that much. However, in a home environment, all the red pill lessons become a lot more important. There's no escaping from buffering ("I don't answer the text immediately to appear busy"), you have to really project who you are. Holding frame, keep seducing the partner, being aware of what's going on at a micro and macro level, etc. are extre…

Divorce, while it can be a long process, is not an unbreakable chain. You can still walk through the door. It just requires a lawyer instead of a door-handle. Depending the country, but things like child support are independent on your marital status (living together but not married vs being married). Your power is still in your hand. As long as you never let it go, as long as you're always hinting that you still have your power, you will retain it.

OP is telling us a story about her previous relationship in format of accusation and generalization. There is no purpose to natural selection. It just happens. It doesn't have an end-point and it doesn't have to be productive. It is what the species or greater social group or environment, largely in socialized settings and attended by various female markers, confers a reproductive advantage. You're mixing natural and sexual selection. They are not exactly the same. Species are historically bad at selecting traits that further the continuance of their combined genetic structure. I don't know if this counts, but my sister had a "boyfriend" since she was 10, the child of a friend of the family. They were really together until they were around 14. When the boy was around 13, his father left to be with another woman (who was pregnant of his child) and this broke the boy. Some time after, his mother took the children (two) to another country (her home country) and that was basically the end of it. They had no contact until some years later. When they were both 20, he returne…

Echoes are used to highlight that something is Jewish. In example, someone wants to pinpoint that the author of an article is Jewish, so they would be like: (((Kohn))) Or in example, if they want to talk about the Jewish influence behind something, you use the same kind of emphasis. In example: (((diversity))). It's considered to be antisemitic, that's why I was highlighting it, so you don't get into troubles with it. If you google Triple parentheses, you'll find wiki article and more.

This sub is very civil, considering the topics that are being discussed and the platform, which is the worst possible for proper debate. That's why requesting "a little civility" and using the condescending "let people live their life" way of doing it comes across as very arrogant.

This subreddit is one of the few places in Reddit where you can have two totally opposing points of view clashing in a rather diplomatic way. Everything else is a circlejerk that leave very little room for opposing views. If you see personal attacks, report them instead of calling them out in such a passive-aggressive manner like you're doing.

People working together to achieve the same goal always have strong cohesion. They don’t need to know the intimate details of one another’s lives to have cohesion. In fact it detracts from productivity. How is this countering my arguments? What can detract from productivity is poor social skills. In example, not able to read the situation when there may be some tension or having a bad timing for humour. People working together and having some disrupting the flow is exactly what I'm talking about…

Dating is hard because most people just don't click with most other people. Yeah, it can be very difficult to find the person with whom you feel the right chemistry. It's exactly as you say, you can be with someone who is attractive, pleasant, even share some traits, views, beliefs, yet still not feel it. There's a lot going on subconsciously that dictates this.

I think that it's deeper than that. Group cohesion is important for survival and having poor social skills lead to interactions that show that you don't understand this and/or threat the cohesion of the group. Social blunders can also display lack of understanding of social hierarchies and dynamics. These social blunders usually tend to receive very swift punishment from the parties involved and our amygdala actually learns from those social blunders (that's why sometimes you get this random fla…

You, and other posters, don't understand what introversion is. You're confusing shyness, poor social skills, asocial behaviour with introversion. There are lots of shy extroverts with poor social skills. Being able to talk to anyone and connect with people is something worth doing for yourself. Its also something you can utilize as a tool at work to make connections and move up the ladder or making more business contacts. You can do this as an introvert. As /u/decoy88 is saying, you're taking responsibility the wrong way. When people talk about taking responsibility, it's about owning your choices and the consequences that come with it, understanding that the world works in a way, but it also reflects how you interact with that world. Being a doormat and taking responsibility are only connected if you're accepting that by being a doormat, people will take advantage over you. That's it.

If the looks threshold is met and the chemistry in sex is there, then it's all that matters. Not just how she is, but also how I feel around her. Intelligence and self-reflection are two traits that I really value and those are a requirement for deep and philosophical conversations. Also, define weird and paranormal as I tend to not mind those, unless we're starting to talk about healing crystals and anti-vaccine rhetoric.

Part of the reason she did it was because he wanted to. It can be the other way around, it's the man who's not in the mood, but the wife is, so he makes an effort. I have done that and I don't have a problem with it. What you said about point 2 also applies, sometimes it's just not happening. In example, when sick. People are allowed to reject sex without worrying for their marriages. You're obviously allowed to reject sex, that's your choice, but the 2nd part of your message is no longer your choice. If a partner starts to resent the other party due to the lack of sex and the constant rejection, that's also their choice, isn't it? Presumably, the marriages are deeper than that, no? Sex is one of the pillars (most important one in my opinion) of a relationship. If it crumbles, why would the marriage stay u…

Also, my example of "submission" is not incorrect. It's incorrect. You're not submitting to anyone just because they are picking the brand of tea you're buying. It's like extroversion/introversion. "I'm extroverted in X environment, but introverted in Y". That's not how it works. Extroversion/introversion is a personality type that is constant in time and doesn't necessarily always reflect in fixed phenotypes. Same in dominance/submission, it's a dynamic that is constant. Honestly, I'm of the opinion that there are just as many "submissive" men as there are women I believe I've seen studies linked here that disprove this when it comes to relationships, but overall, only a small handful of people are dominant. Mostly because making decisions and assuming the responsibility over them is not something people like to do. It's easier to let other people decide. (Most couples are more nuanced, anyway. I don't consider it a double standard because I understand, accept and appreciate the differences between men and women. In example, a potential partner being a bit clumsy in some areas (socially, sexually) doesn't bother me, while the other way around it could end being a dealbreaker.

I started at 16 and I'm older than 35, but twice the timelapse between relationships has been up to 2 years long. I wouldn't, but I'd also have to consider what caused the woman to get to that point. I'd happily replace all my history with a sweetheart that I'd have met at 16 and would be together with for my entire life, but that's not how it ended being. I'm not proud of my n-count and, internally, it works against me, but externally, it's really a big advantage.

The shortest period between being in a monogamous relationship and the next one has been around four months, would you consider that jumping between partners? I just had some opportunities on casual sex (fwb, etc.) that were very hard to pass on. Together with starting to date early and my current age, leads to a decent n-count and a lot of experience, which really shows in my interaction with women, as I was saying in my first reply.

so we think that people with high partner counts can easily leave that lifestyle behind to become monogamous when they so desire I'm not sold on that. It depends on what was the point of origin. I'm under the belief that people don't really change as a whole. Perceived changes can either come due to experience (and amygdala picking up things) or serious therapeutical work to alleviate issues caused by childhood traumas. I have a relative high n-count, but my base has always been monogamy. Being …

As I said, I'm more into LTR. My high n-count has been a consequence of many different events, not the goal. I have never cheated and I hope I can always state this. I really struggled with women for a while until I got to a point where it started to snowball. That point being, understanding the game and acquiring the experience I mentioned above. This works for any kind of focus on women (casual, LTR, etc.). You still have to seduce the woman in one way or another and, even if she really likes …

I don't think it's about seeking, but rather, it's something that works. In example, how an experienced man deals with LMR or tests versus how a beginner deals (and fails) with them. While I think that a man can become more experienced by being a monogamist, by being exposed to different kinds of women, you definitely learn to spot the patterns, the tests, the games and crush all of them and bed the girl. Some women in my past have been a bit hesitant about my implied n-count (due to how I handl…

She was a fantastic companion, very kind, really into philosophy, psychology, history, etc. like me. Social skills include being aware of what the other person is thinking/feeling (to a degree).
