I am most approachable at the dog park or at an event that’s been planned by a mutual friend like a dinner party or a game night. Friends of friends make the best stress free introductions because they are pre-vetted (provided that your friend keeps good company)

I am adopted and very grateful. I have wonderful adoptive parents who I consider my real parents. I often forget I am even adopted as my mom and I are so close and even happen to look alike. I was gifted a wonderful life and great family. Welcomed into a much more financially stable situation and given so much more opportunity than I would have ever been born into with my birth mother and her given situation 30 years ago. I am college educated and own a home, this would have never been the case …

Absolutely. He used to love to debate with me and found it interesting that my ideas were different from his. It’s only been since Trump was elected and covid has made it so you can barely bring up the weather without it turning into a divisive political conversation. Honestly we used to enjoy discussing politics back when they didn’t affect our lives so directly. Now it’s all too real.

One of our fights from a year of two ago was about me not being in favor of universal healthcare and free college for everyone. It ended in him calling me a selfish nazi and a brat. We have fought over the fact that I am skeptical that trans women should be allowed to compete in women’s sports, especially UFC which we like to watch. I think these women certainly exist. They may not put off an approachable vibe or be attracting bold initiating types of men. I've known many women who are simply too shy or keep to themselves too much to invite social attention from a man such as a date.
