Post LTR breakup low self esteem is the worst fucking thing EVER. Not ever wanting to experience it again is one reason I got into the game. Forgive yourself for not playing it as effectively as you could have with this girl. Keep her around and act cool and nonchalant. She can always be a social proof girl when you guys go out--never underestimate the possibilities there.

This reminds me of something I read (here I think) the other day, where a guy just walked up to a girl and said "I like salad." Just say anything and keep going. This is inspiring. Keep it up.

You talked about entrepreneurship??? Props for pulling that off. I've always heard it doesn't matter what you say as long as you say it the right way--but me, I have to stay away from topics like that, because even if the girl is smart I'll be a boring wonk. Way to go, player!

Today I did not approach a girl at a bookstore who was ASKING me to talk to her, dancing and dallying around me, because I didn't have an opener. After reading this post, I know I will never be able to use that excuse again.

Be carefree and fun to be around. Don't act serious, because it will beckon serious, somber discussions of monogamy (please just believe me, I had a recent personal experience with this!) Be honest. Let them know that they can have you on these terms or they can leave you. Don't lead either one on. Make no apologies for your choice in how you manage your relationships.

This is a great post. I think for most guys, porn and maybe even masturbation in general are antithetical to the pursuit of actual sex. I recently got out of a very short (10 week) relationship where I barely jacked off, let alone watched porn. For this short window, I simply didn't need it--but the one or two times I looked at it again, I felt like a disgusting loser for not going out and having real sex. I haven't jacked off now in four days and I've decided to quit. It's a little rough but I'…

There seems to be a consensus that this guy is a douche, but you need to not dwell on it for another minute. I don't think you sound like you were being needy, but consider that he might have been down for sex but not wanting to have any drama. Personally, I think the guy might just not have known how to close the deal.

This is really helpful to me. I am totally a perfectionist, and it not only hampers my escalation, but also prevents me from approaching.

By qualify I mean indicate to her that she is worthy of your time/attention/etc. It's important because you have to make her work for it, if you qualify her too soon, she will lose interest and not respect you. Can't tell you if you should break it off with your girl or not--but I know you should always always always be looking and approaching other women. As long as she's not a psycho, it's probably a good sign if she's a little jealous.

I don't get jealous anymore. Part of it is that I am a lot more confident that I'll find someone else. With this one, she constantly tested me to see how jealous I was. I failed some of those tests for not being jealous enough. I told her, "look, you know I adore you, but the fact is that if you leave me, I'll find someone else." Why she was pissed when I did exactly this is a little beyond me. Maybe because it was in the same day that we had breakup sex, but hey sweetheart, if you don't want me…

Appreciated, I have really struggled to be positive about game and not exploitative or misogynistic. I think a good guy gets into this because he loves women and wants to love more of them XD

I've wondered what exactly the right thing to say was, but what matters is how you say it. I could have said, "well, I've had my share" and grinned really big. but man, when I told her I'd been with 12... she looked almost disappointed in me or something. It really fucked with my head. I didn't know how to make sense of it.

Being honest, I think they are often ambivalent (hence the phenomenon of breakup sex), and they've also done a lot less work in the relationship than you. You approached, you seduced, you played the lead in the bedroom, now suddenly they need to do this unpleasant task of ending it with you--and they might even care about your feelings if you were good to them.

This is a question I asked myself until very recently--in fact writing this made me come to terms with that very question. You don't need to be "running game" all the time, but of all the things I wrote, "don't get complacent" is #1. At the core of game is demonstrating value. Stop doing that, whether through neediness, being overly available, overly serious, jealous, or just plain sloppy will lose you the relationship. But no matter what, you must remember: you never win her affection once and …

When I was newer to all of this, I would have written a piece debunking this trash (and for those of you who did, you're very much on the mark). These days, I am too concerned about improving my odds to listen to haters and their hackneyed understanding of male/female relations. Side note: if you've read Sperm Wars, it's a great example of why you should not ask women for dating advice. The advice they give reaffirms reproductive strategies that most women use, which gives women the advantage, a…

Both actually. Be mostly casual but punctuated with flirty moments. Don't stay flirty for too long because she's in this isolated space with just you and her, she's on your turf, and being overly flirtatious will tip her off too much to your intentions. To be fair, she knows sex is a possibility, but if you make it too apparent with too much flirting at once (or too much too early) she'll be grabbing her purse saying "look at the time!" Now on the other hand, if kino escalation is just getting o…

I actually would keep the alcohol level low. There are numerous reasons: 1. Less boozy you=better game 2. You'll be a better lover, should it come to that (most likely, if you come too fast, just know when to stop drinking to get the maximum delay effect without compromising your erection) 3. Being too eager to drink makes her think you're trying to get her drunk 4. Drinking less is a DHV. It shows you don't need alcohol to enjoy yourself and her, and that your confidence is big regardless of ho…

It's all about kino escalation. What works for me is to get her on the couch watching something after dinner. Then get laying down spooning. Just say you need to lay down and get comfortable. If she's not down, she'll sit somewhere else. Once she's laying down with you, your work is cut out for you. Caress exposed skin and eventually get your hand near hers, see how much she caresses back or if she grabs your hand. If that works, get your lips near her neck and ear, plant a tiny kiss. Don't star…
