You can learn things to an extent but you limit yourself to a sample size of the type of ass who'd want to be on a reality TV show.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/25 06:24 PM

Comparing reality TV to real life in general is like comparing behavior in prison to life in general. You have a captive population, under stress, directly competing for resources.

Being vulnerable to themselves is what's most important. Being able to analyze what is hurting/causing issues in your life and naming it is a step toward addressing your problems.

Just because feminism is a thing, doesn't mean the people who have benefited from it give two shits or have even read anything about it
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 01:40 AM

You know that women existed before feminism right? LOL

My ex and I used to go to Chili's on Valentine's Day to people watch. The couples making out between bites of rib are adorable and the couples fighting over celebrating Valentine's at Chili's are hilarious.

Are you talking about Sheila Jefferies? That bitch is crazy and was immediately piled on by other feminists when she came out with her -we should all be androgynous lesbians who have polite sex lying side by side because someone even being on top during sex is too heteronormative for her- You understand that almost every feminist thinks she and her ilk are crazy, right?

Religion destroyed my self esteem as a six year old. It can be hard to take a step back and evaluate where your thoughts and feelings come from.

This is my worst nightmare. There's a lot of mental illness in my family and what if the stress of raising humans would make me go into full psychosis and andrea-yates my children. Would tap myself out first if it came down to it.

Just because something your isn't your fault doesn't make it not your responsibility. Acknowledging that there is a problem is the first step to fixing that problem. We can blame society for certain things and understand why things happen a certain way, but it's still our individual responsibility to figure out what works for us.

Oh my God and the DRAFT. Either there should be no draft or people can deal with sending their little girls to die in a war along with their little boys. This is probably the most explicit way we devalue men in society.

Maybe women who have getting into a relationship as a top priority will cold approach. But the average woman who sees a hot guy doesn't have the same drive to engage at all.

Why should women initiate a date when there is no attraction? Women don't want around primed and horny the way men do.

If you're asking random woman out for a date you should expect to pay. You're already interested but she doesn't know you or care about you. It's outdated but there is a reason it's there.

Could you explain that you value her beyond sex and would like to do things that demonstrate that. She might be shutting down that aspect of your relationship/situation on purpose, or it could just be as simple as incompatible love languages.

I thought having daddy issues meant you specifically went for older men because you're subconsciously trying to fill that space in your life.
/r/ExRedPill23/12/24 01:22 PM

Expecting a guy to pay on the first date is exactly setting a precedent for the relationship. Some people want to continue that dynamic for the duration of their relationship so figuring that out on a first date makes sense.

Some people intentionally leverage their strengths to give them as much control over their partners as possible. This is gender-neutral and we should all be careful and thoughtful and at the bare minimum, negotiate when we make decisions with our clits/dicks.

I forgot to comment directly, the soft life sounds great if you can get it, but you should always be able to take care of yourself and your family. Your entire life can change in a moment even with careful planning and the best of intentions.

I know women stepped up during WWII and I'm confident men would be just as capable if the shoe were on the other foot. But you can't force someone to work a job they have no interest in. If so few men want to be paralegals now how would that change if women weren't in the field?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 07:00 PM
1

Yeah so if someone is not in the minority of bad actors why do they feel responsible for it? And maybe reflect on your relationship with social pressure. (Not you specifically, people who are feeling this responsibility)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 06:37 PM

And to clarify, I have two relationships that didn't work out because their viewpoint soiled our nest. After the fact they told me that many of their anti-social ideas and behavior came from falling down the redpill rabbit hole.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 06:01 PM

Most women already cook and clean for themselves and can run homes very efficiently. It's just a question of if the juice is worth the squeeze when it comes to doing that for another person. Are you cooking and cleaning as a love language and to show your partner that you care and are committed? Are you doing it to secure the lifestyle you want and feelings aren't a factor? Also it's important to remember that one person could be thinking "homestead" while the other is thinking "trophy wife" and…

I absolutely agree that women are indifferent to most men. Women are not sexually charged towards most people they interact with day-to-day. Men are often projecting when they hypothesize about women's thought processes.

I agree with choosing the bear and so should everyone else. From Statista, 14,327 murderers in the US in 2023 were men. From Wikipedia (I know), 5 people were fatally attacked by bears in 2023.

Personally, I'm just trying to skip my first marriage 🤷‍♀️. I think the divorce rate would have been lower in the past if people didn't jump into things during the honeymoon of their relationships. Cancer scares, unemployment, chronic medical issues, drug and alcohol problems are waaay more common than people think and some can't handle maintaining the for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health stuff.

I don't think of any of the things you listed as toxically masculine, toxic masculinity is avoiding medical care for a legit problems because not caring for your health is macho for many men. Or never dealing with the death of a close friend or family member until the negative emotions associated with such a terrible thing happening seep into how you treat yourself and others ...

This absolutly. I got mine accidentally and didn't even realize it until I saw how much more he was respected than his boss (small contracting company). Vendors, employees, clients, front ends of supply houses (hell even his boss's uncle!) all come to him for advice with a smile and coffee just how he likes it in hand. Same people will disrespect or straight up ignore his boss who is a try hard domineering type. Nothing replaces in-person observation and interaction.
/r/RedPillWomen29/06/19 03:12 PM

I do! I want to be the cool aunt and uncle! First reason I don't want kids is the mental illness that runs in my family (lots of mid life psychosis and suicide). Second reason is that my mother was a nanny and had her own daycare when I was growing up and as the oldest girl I was her first mate. That means between 6-15 kids around everyday, sometimes from 6 in the morning until 10 at night, from the time I was 4 until I moved out as an adult. I'm simply burned out since I didn't really like them…

Thank you so, so much for the information. I'm very curious now, haha. Big reader right here so I might look into a quiz online AND pick up the book. And you're welcome! :)

Lmaoooo, excellent advice (we joke that he has a Reese's fetish) but we unfortunately have to wait on the sex. He blew out his knee and broke two ribs toward the end of our move and we learned the hard way that orgasms shift his ribs. :((((( The lack of sex has definitely contributed to our mutual frustration levels.
/r/RedPillWomen25/06/19 02:59 PM

Haha, I think I was subconsciously trying this out already this morning so your advice might work really well for me. He is fantastic about being open and vocal about his appreciation and I could benefit from taking a page from both of your books (very emotionally constipated here, lol). Another user mentioned love languages and I'm definitely going to look into them and develop a habit of communicating more in HIS love language even if it doesn't come instinctually. Thank you!

"Out of sync" really hits the nail on the head. I usually try not to bother him too much about sex but he'll probably be game if it will help me feel reconnected. Thank you!
/r/RedPillWomen25/06/19 11:03 AM

I've heard of love languages before but have no idea how they're determined (is there a myers-briggs test type of thing? will google today!) Taking to time to do a little something nice to reaffirm my intentions will absolutely help me feel better and get out of my head and into the present. Thank you for the advice and congratulations on your growing family!
/r/RedPillWomen25/06/19 11:00 AM

I'm thankful for my partner who compliments and appreciates my need to demonstrate love even in the midst of a disagreement. We can be angry and frustrated with each other but I'm still going to go to town with the back rubs (because he loves them and has been crazy sore from our move) and he's still going to whip up something magic in the kitchen (because I love his cooking and forget to eat when I'm upset).
