$1,400 with 50/50 custody?
/r/Divorce_Men16/06/26 09:51 PM

Got it. In theory, if her numbers is showing $950 and mine is showing $1,100 and everything else being equal, I would pay $150 a month if we agree for 50/50 custody. I understand that there are other cost involved such as medical, dental, birthday parties, school events etc…

Do those calculators factor in 50/50 custody? Currently it’s showing approximately $1,100 after entering my information.

I’ve tried using that calculator this morning but after entering in my numbers, it’s showing approximately 1,100 a month. Does that consider 50/50 custody? That’s what I’m confused about

Dude what are you doing? You keep saying you’re going to file next when you get paid. How does paying child support for the next 18 years for a child that might not be yours sound? I would be asking friends, family, using a credit card, taking out a 401k and using those pay later options to get ahead of this. Or do you want to spend money trying to prove to the family court that this child is not yours?

He’s actually a cool smart guy but he is a lost soul in the dating department. We all went to grab lunch one year at chilis and he thought the waitress had a thing for him cause she called him sweetie. For the next couple of weeks he was going there all the time to try to get her number etc…

/r/Divorce_Men14/02/22 03:50 PM

What is considered long-term? I just think its crazy for an average joe to be paying 1k a month for life on a 120k salary. If OP got married at 25 and divorced at 42 it just seems crazy to be paying 1k a month from 42 to lets say 80-85 life expectancy. In this example OP would be paying alimony for 30+ years for a 17yr married.

I used to wear a wedding band to work so they wouldn't try to play match maker hooking me up with single mom Sally or any other crazy female that worked in the building. He saved himself a lot of trouble and simply told everyone that his "wife" travels a lot and couldn't make it to company gatherings as they approached. Yes. She actually lived in the same hometown as me then she moved 3 hours away but we stay in touch. When her lease was coming to an end, she asked me help her move into a new apartment. It wasn't like a simple hey can you drive 3 hours to come help me move (Yes/No).....It was more on a flirting level I just wanted to share my experience on some of the dumb stuff that i've done back in the day. If i had the mindset that i have today, i would have sent her a list of local movers lol

It also works during interviews and during layoff rounds. With everything else being equal, asking for a large salary is easier to get when it looks like you have a family to support. During layoff rounds, its easier to to fire someone who is single then it is to layoff someone who has a family to support. Of course these are what I've experience

There are countless articles about females using these dating apps for free meals. One went so far and hired a personal assistant so that she had a date schedule 3 times a day for a few months as an experiment. https://www.whatsyourprice.com/blog/the-girl-who-dates-for-free-dinners/ https://nypost.com/2017/08/30/beware-of-foodie-call-dates-who-are-just-in-it-for-a-free-meal/ https://www.latimes.com/home/la-hm-0528-laaffairs-20160524-snap-20160525-snap-story.html

Going MGTOW has allowed me to avoid the stress caused in a relationship with females.

My coworker and I are located in Texas but i would think it applies to state that have alimony. I am not a tax or divorce lawyer. Keep points: Under the current laws, those paying alimony can deduct some of the alimony payments during tax time and the person receiving the alimony check have to report it as income. Under the new laws, those paying alimony will no longer be able to deduct alimony payments and the person receiving the payment will not have to pay income tax on it.

Winfrey's high school sweetheart Anthony Otey recalled an innocent courtship that began in Winfrey's senior year of high school, from which he saved hundreds of love notes; Winfrey conducted herself with dignity and as a model student.[81] The two spoke of getting married, but Otey claimed to have always secretly known that Winfrey was destined for a far greater life than he could ever provide.[82] She broke up with him on Valentine's Day of her senior year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oprah_W…
