1	Advice on Magistrate I have the 40%. She says she makes nothing and just got off disability. She also runs a business she took over after her new husband died last year from an OD that she thought I didn't know about and am sure she is also getting money for her and my kids from his social security she is not claiming as well while getting food stamps and disability. 1	Advice on Magistrate I am in FL. From what I read and been told. It is referred to a Magistrate when the judge is backed up on cases. The Magistrate is just a lawyer appointed by the judge to hear our case instead of the judge and then give the judge a recommendation on our case. I just don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing and if anyone had experience with this. 3	Devastated Thanks for the advice. I definitely will not be going around her without someone with me if the injunction gets dropped. I really shouldn't care if she goes to jail but I just don't want the kids to have to go through anything else right now. Hope your divorce goes as well as it can. 2	Devastated Yes I have the police report from the one they made. They did not even file a report the first time but the report I have mentioned the first incident as well. I have that to take with me but not much else besides that to bring. Luckily my lawyer is going with me to the hearing as well so I hope the judge does not believe her either.
