I kind of try to think about it like this: sure, it would be nice to have all the things I crave right here and now, but not on expense on my future. I would rather "suffer" a bit at the moment if it means it would help me in the future. Go to the gym even if I don't feel like it today, don't sleep around, eat healthy even though I really would like some chocolate right now (true) and so on. I try to picture how I want my future to be and try to think about how what I am doing right now could he…

I agree. :) Most people don't walk around trying to make other feel bad, most people are just like you and me. :)

Caring and nurturing I like to help other people and make them feel loved. I will always take care of my friends and loved ones. I am also very good with animals and love to take care of them. I really feel the happiest when I can be there for others. Passion Sometimes I can be a bit elusive when it comes to my interest, but when I really care about someone/something I am very passionate about it and it means the world to me! Organizing I am very good at organizing, I always make list and plans.…

No idea, some kind of extrovert at least, follow emotions, but very intellectual. You are probably right, but I think I could be a tiny bit better at showing and understanding my emotions at least. When my emotions gets too strong they get out, but without me understanding them before later on when I have time to analyse... And I feel like that's is some of the problem here too and why I blame myself, I mean, now in hindsight I see how I have acted in ways I shouldn't have. I think not being too…

I kind of ruined everything this time. I know I should be who I am, but I think I wasn't ready to meet someone yet. It was my first experience with dating (I have an ex, but we met in high school and sort of just became girlfriend/boyfriend) and I fumbled in the dark, did the push/pull thing and acted and said things that didn't make sense, I don't know. I was terrified of my own feelings and felt really insecure, didn't do any of that on purpose, but tried to protect myself I guess by making di…

That's how it is for me too, I have a lot of feelings and very strong feelings too, I just don't know what to do with them. I am actually very vulnerable and innocent, but at the same time I like to figure out everything on my own and have a hard time letting other people in. My ex was a bit more like my in terms of feelings, but he neither understood his feeling or knew how to show them, that didn't work very well either. :p I am too much better at communicating my feelings in written form, but…

Thank you! I have tried to implement that in my life recently. Been practicing on my friends and my sister whom I am very close to. I'm not sure if I would be a good match with another INTJ though, because I am very shy and introverted, and are usually attracted to more extroverted guys.

He has trust issues from his last relationship, so it's not completely my fault at least. :)

Well we haven't broken up exactly. He still wants to be with me, but feels like he can't trust me...(Edit: He also said that no one has ever treated him like I do, and that it really confuses him. The feminist force is strong within this country :p ) Or that is what he said at least. But you are right, I should try to move on. Anyway, it's not really about him, because it is a problem in all my (few) close relationships. My two best friends have commented on it many times, that they feel like th…

I agree with this, but still, a lot of people are using it more serious. Two of my closest friends met their SO there. I think you have to be more cautious about who you meet and how you presents yourself, but if you have a good vetting process from the beginning I think it could be a good app. Most people, at least where I am from, uses Tinder and a lot of them are also on more serious dating sites.

I second this one. I use an electric shaver myself, not for trimming though, shaves everything off. It doesn't irritate the skin and I don't get ingrown hair. It doesn't get completely smooth, but with regular shaver the smoothness doesn't last more than a day anyway...

Yeah, one part of me wants to stay with him and hope that he wants to try when the time comes, but I can see that he's not that invested in me at this point either. It would only hurt myself in the long run. So I guess that's what my gut is telling me, that he only wants a temporary girlfriend and I wasn't clear enough about my intentions. I'm really sorry to hear, that's awful. :( Hope everything is going okey with you...

Sorry, I'm not sure how to quote parts. :) I too waited way to long to end it in my last relationship, in hindsight the last year shouldn't have happened. I kind of feel a bit lost now though, he still wants to meet me (not my ex, but the one I was dating now) and take things as they come, but I know that's not a good idea. Then he really have to up the commitment at least, like introduce me to his friends and so on. I kind of know that that won't happen though, I guess I should have seen other …

Well, the problem is that I want to try, but that doesn't help when he does not want to try. I don't see any point in staying with someone for a year just to end things when he has to leave. I don't know if I'll meet anyone new before that, but I will for sure not meet anyone by staying with him.

Yeah, I understand why he is skeptical, but it's only for a year, and I think that it would work if both really wanted it to. I haven't known him for that long yet, not done with the vetting or anything, so of course it could be possible that I even don't want to have a LTR with him, too early to know something like that. I'm just really interested in getting to know him better and see what it could be... But I guess it's for the best, it would be a lot easier to meet someone who doesn't have to…

Thank you. I actually haven't seen any negative in him this whole time we have been dating, so this really sucks :p But I know it's better in the longer run, no point in having something good for a year when it couldn't be anything more anyway, that would only hold me back.

Thank you, I'm just really sad right now, so it's hard to stick with my decision. I just feel kind of cheated, we have talked a lot about what we look for in a relationship, about children and family life, I don't understand why he would be like this when he only wanted something temporary.

On top of the things already being said, it sounds to me like you may have a hormonal imbalance or something, or abnormal low sexdrive at least. As someone already stated, sex is biological, you should want sex, you should feel the urges, especially when you are attracted to someone. Are you on the pill? Or maybe there is some psychological reason behind it, what you've been told/learning earlier, the feminist phase, maybe you hold yourself back because of that?

I don't have an issue with respecting him, never had, actually even the first time we met I was sold. Impossible to not respect a man like him. I do have a problem with showing him how much I respect and admire him though, and I'm afraid to come on a bit too strong.

Haha ok! Thanks for the clarification, I do NOT practice hypergamy then, not NSA sex either.

A bit off topic, but how do you downvote someone? I only see a star. :) A bit more on topic, I have seen guys describe hypergamy as someone who has a lot of committed relationships, jumping from one guy to another, but sticking to one at the time? That's how people describe it in my country at least, but I might have mixed up something along the way. I thought I practiced hypergamy, because i have an ex (ltr) and now dating a new man (n-count of 2).

Are you ok with heels? And are you looking for winterboots or just in general? I don't know any brands in particular, but some stores have small feminine boots, not bulky like Doc Martens. I mostly wear heels, but I recently found some cute boots that looks really small and cute without heels. My tip would be to look trough a lot of stores, most of them should have something that could work. If you are looking for warmer boots I find it a bit harder though... Sorry I couldt help any more. :)

I'm not religious, but I liked the "I find it attractive when you...", I will try to phrase it like that next time. He had to work night shift last night and was very tired already before his work, we talked over text, but I again had the problem with what to say, or how to say it. Tried to show support. To clarify the language thingy, I'm from Italy, thats my first language, but I live in another country where they speak another language. I speak that language fluently, but I still find it hard…

The last sentence, that's exactly what I am afraid of, to turn into a doting worshiper. This will sound very weird, but I actually find it hard to say those things in my language, we don't really have a good word for admiration, or at least not a word that would be natural to use. I try to compliment him after his long shift, he has to work a lot of overtime, but again, I really don't know how to paraphrase it to my language... I would actually prefer to talk English with him, but that would be …

I'm sorry, but could you explain what "deference" is? Haven't heard that word before, English is not my first language, sorry. I do want to trust his judgement, but as I said, lately we haven't had much time together and not really any situations were this would be natural.

Thank you very much, I really do agree with you. I'm a very emphatic person, but we haven't been dating for that long yet. After he told me what had happened and that he wouldn't make it I actually had a nightmare about something going wrong and him ending up at the hospital. I'm actually a bit afraid of this one, because when I first love someone I tend to care a bit too much, and then dating a guy that works as a firefighter, I'm afraid that I'm going to be a nervwreck. Hehe. We have already h…

Thank you! I think it would help me a lot just to be conscious about this way of reacting, if I'm conscious about it I would also be able to think about my reaction and not just react.

I have actually purchased some of the books from the sidebar. I'm in the middle of a lot of exams at the moment, student, but I can't wait to read them when I have the time again. :) Just to have it said, it wasn't like I got all fuming mad or anything at the text, but my first "instinct" was to text back a passive aggressive text. That feeling didn't last for more than a few seconds though, before my logic could take its place.

Ah sorry! You're right though, I lost most of my respect for him when he started with the things he did, both that he started and why he started. In hindsight I should have ended it right there, stuck togheter for another year, but it was a pretty steep year.

Thank you, you are right, I didn't think of it like that. I still feel bad about my first reaction when he explained the situation though, but I had been waiting for an hour and I was a bit sad and confused so... I still want to work on how I react, I'm sure there will be other situations where I react stupid. Hehe :) He really appreciated me being understanding and supportive, said he was afraid I was going to get mad and that he felt really bad about not telling me earlier, but he couldn't get…

Haha thank you, I will keep that in mind. Bj's have always been one of my biggest turn ons, what I fantasies about when I'm alone, even before I met my ex. He didn't believe me when I said he was the first. But I actually watched and read a lot of different "educational" videos :p When it comes to sex I do what comes natural to me, I kind of change to my basic instincts and just live in the moment.

Again, I'm sorry. He knows about my ex and that I have had sex before and everything, I haven't told him about me never dating (as in going on dates and not being in a relationship). But I have followed his lead all the time, been kind of insecure and girlish, he even asked me if I were a virgin even though I had told him about my ex, because I seemed so insecure and stuff. He's used to girls sleeping with him on the first date. What I meant in my first post is that I am actually insecure and in…

Thank you. :) We are exclusive, but I find it a bit scary to ask for a relationship. We talk about the future, children, where we would live, values... but I feel it would be weird asking to be his girlfriend, I feel like that's more of a natural develelopment.

Yeah, sorry about that, English isn't my first language. What I meant about inexperience when it comes to dating is that when I met my ex, we started out as friends, both liked each other, but never dated or anything. One night he asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend and there you go. I'm not inexperienced when it comes to being in a relationship, we even lived togheter for two years. And the man I'm dating now know about my ex, it's not like that. I just don't know how the part between mee…

I do want to have sex with him, I feel like I trust him and like him enough by now. I'm just afraid that I might have scared him with my blowjob, I know it sounds weird, but I'm very kinky in bed and love to give Bj's, really good at deeptroathing too, don't have any gag reflex (Sorry about tmi). He really loved it, so not scare him away in that sense, but I regret not being a bit more innocent, it was our first time doing anything that sexual. Like I said, I'm just really inexperienced with dat…
