But supposed you never see that person elsewhere. Like the only time you see them is at their job, like a front-desk place. What then? I understand that people are probably being more nice, because it's part of their job and all but what can I do about it? There's no other place to meet people like this

This 100%. Just be confident, don't give a shit, take chances, and be yourself. If they turn you down specifically for your chance, fuck em. Yes I think, due to the media and shit, it's a bit harder for Asian/Indians dudes but I know plenty that are gettin it on. All I can say is don't worry about what you can't control and don't let that bullshit define you bro.

Bruh, you needa stop boxing yourself in as a guy "from India." First of all don't focus on getting a girlfriend, it kinda comes off as needy and it's not the best attitude to have. Just focus on breaking out of your shell and talking to women. Don't expect anything in return. Indian dudes just tend to worry about their race more. I think they are just as fine as any "ethnic immigrant group" that is new to America. Do they really need their own "guide?"
