The worst outcome? That you haven't documented giving her the 500 a month and when you do finally get divorced she's going to get back child support for the ENTIRE time you've been apart because that's easy to document.

Your health? Did she leave because of how you look? Get skinny and date a 32 year old.

You were on the app, so was she, who cares. It's been a long time. Go back to trying to get laid and not caring.

Open a new bank account immediately switch your direct deposit You're not breaking the law you can actually drain all of the money in a joint account and put it in a private account. if it's joint you can do whatever you want. At least in my state you could and that's what my lawyer told me.

I'm not going to let you manipulate me into going oh man don't stop posting. You do what you want to. I'm a fucking asshole. Maybe I'm wrong maybe I'm right. I don't know trying to give you some tough love because we've all been in the fucking slums over some fucking women and the sooner you get out of them the better no matter what you decide that much I do know.

Good. Take action. The worst thing you can do at this point is nothing.

I've told you that you can get a lawyer to work on contingency if you're due alimony and back alimony. We've had this conversation before too.

Dude I think I've told you this. If you were a stay at home Dad and she paid the bills, YOU ARE DUE ALIMONY. This is not that hard. I also told you to change venues, where you have a support structure, file in another state and have a lawyer or you yourself with a help, state that you need a full-time job, she will not help with expenses or with your special needs daughter and it will be a non issue. Things are starting to not add up with you post after post. Convincing us doesn't matter. The on…

We all understand why you got divorced now.

Rather quickly? Wife of 29 years? Introduce? Not in the same paragraph if it was my kid. Never introduce your kid to your rebound and if it winds up not being your rebound what's the harm and waiting to introduce it to your kid.🤷🏻‍♂️

Run. Not because of what she did because your heart is telling you too. How could you ever love her, so what's the point?

So perhaps in therapy you tell her that being properly medicated as something that needs to happen if she wants this marriage to continue put it on her in front of the therapist. You have the right to set conditions if this is going to move forward and if she doesn't meet those conditions it's on her because you have had enough. But going in there and shaking the tree just to watch the monkey's fall out of it, it's probably not the best idea and the therapist notes are something that the judge c…

Go back and read what you wrote brother. You miss the old her. Haven't been happy in years. We're going to go the distance for the kids. You love the idea what you were but you haven't had that in a really long time. The kids by your own admission aren't happy with the way things are. You know what make your kids happ? You being happy. I know it doesn't seem like it it'll take about 3 or 4 months after the divorce before you start to feel human but you got to end this and move on. Be nice and po…

Mentioning personal responsibility and accountability is a quick way to get down votes around anywhere on Reddit.

I'm going to say this and I really want you to listen and hear me. Only say those words if you want your marriage to end. If you want your marriage to succeed tell your wife you love her and you'll do whatever it takes to make this work. I think she was just being honest. If she knew for sure she wouldn't be in therapy with you trying to figure it out. You should not be asking strangers what you should or shouldn't say you should only be saying what's in your heart. This is your last chance to m…

It's hard to see things when you're in the middle of it. It's easy to play poker when you're watching it on TV even if you don't see the whole cards. It's hard to play poker when you're in the middle of the game.

No shit she doesn't care about the child she no longer cares about you or she wouldn't want a divorce. What's left money. Go to where you have a support structure IE family get a real job where you can get insurance and work 40 hours a week and have somebody watch your child. Where you can get a lawyer and not have to pay somebody to babysit. And file for divorce in a different state. This is the way. Start taking some control of your life.

My friend you're not asking her permission. If you leave and say you're going to visit family and then file in another state once that is done and it's in another venue she can't stop that. You both own the house right, you still going to get your proceeds when it sells. Time to start fighting fire with fire. My ex-wife took my child on a visit to her mother and another state and filed for divorce there without me even though she wanted one. That's how I know this can be done.

I would consider moving to a state where you have family to help support you and then refiling for divorce for a change of venue.

I mean even if the job was a wash on daycare at least you have insurance for your child that is something the judge is going to say. With special needs doesn't she have medical expenses?

The reality is you have to figure something out or you going to lose custody of your child. If you stand in front of that judge and say I have no job it's not going to look good. You can get help from the state because your child is special needs. You can get food assistance. Depending on your state there are places you can drop your child off during the day. Are potentially get vouchers to help with daycare. Then maybe you take your daughter to a state where you have family members you get a jo…

The real answer here my friend is that it is neither good nor bad. Judges are trained to be impartial. The things that they're not impartial about that would be a problem for you or her during the divorce (according to statistics): anything to do with drugs and alcohol, abuse against men/women and children, anytime you went out of your way to victimize your significant other or child during the divorce (so be nice), things like that. Otherwise everything is set up pretty much. She gets half your…

Remember a few things. This isn't happening to you, this is happening to your child. Their world is completely collapsing. If you didn't work and stayed home with your child as you said, your soon to be ex-wife can actually owe you alimony. Some lawyers will work on a contingency based on the fact they believe you will ex-amount of months back alimony and you sign papers saying you will give it over to them. If you don't have a job you have zero chance of getting custody. Find gainful employment…
