I wondered why they had his picture there. Shouldn't this be in a different subreddit then? I know about Robin Williams. I love him. Wish he was still alive.

That's very sterotypical. I'm not saying that he wasn't but I just think you could've proved it differently.

Ok, but my point is I don't think it's that difficult to distinguish whether a girl is interested or not and you honestly just made my point. You knew when she was interested versus when she wasn't because if she wasn't she would make it clear so it doesn't seem like it's that difficult to figure out if there is a clear distinction, especially like that. I didn't say that some women didn't like to play hard to get, just not all of them. So, maybe that's just all the girls you've dated but the gi…

Maybe it's because you dumped her.

I think parents should help teach their kids as long as it's not too graphic stuff. It's already traumatizing enough sometimes having to talk to your parent about that but why should you ask your parents for advice on dating. I figured that's what people do anyway. Men also aren't the only ones to having pressure when dating. Society has set up gender roles for both genders. Not only has society told men to make the first move but it's also conditioned people to think that it's weird if a woman …

You're ignorance has made you "believe" that all women can be pyschopaths. If all women were psychopaths there would be a lot more mental institutions and they'd all be filled up but that isn't the case.

This woman is ignorant.

I guess I can kind of understand that. I don't like being mean or rude to people at all either but at that point I feel like if that's hard for someone to get the hint then you should try as best you can to turn them down politely or just make up an excuse to leave. I didn't mean any harm by this debate but I just thought people generally knew how to read body language, whether it be male or female but I guess it's just easier for me and I don't understand how it can be difficult for some people…

You say that like it's that simple. Most men are stronger than women so if a woman doesn't want to give a man a blowjob but he physically forces her it's kinda difficult not to have a dick in your mouth even if you don't want it. Personally, I've never heard the story so I was going off what you said. It's fucked up that she did that but not all cases are like that and other women are accurately accusing men of those crimes. I wasn't making up my own mind I was being general. If you didn't I cle…

Even if a woman plays hard to get she still does hint that she likes a guy, whether it's obvious to you or not. A woman playing hard-to-get still seems interested at least in my experience. They often do flirt back and stuff just not often but a woman who isn't interested at all won't show any sign of interest at all. Key term is "hard-to-get", not "impossible-to-get" which is more likely when the woman isn't interested at all. In personal experience that's not necessarily the case but all aroun…

How am I playing stupid? It's not my fault you don't know how to read people. I feel that most people know when someone is uncomfortable or uninterested and if they don't see that someone is uncomfortable then go for it. I'm not saying you shouldn't. I'm saying I don't see how difficult it is to read a woman like you guys say it is. Give me an example of a situation you've faced and I'm sure I can explain it. And not all girls like being pursued. You shouldn't generalize people like that, it's m…

How are you certain that it was under zero coercion? Either person could be lying, that has nothing to do with body language it has to do with that fact of whether she was lying or not. Maybe she did like it, maybe she didn't. Just because the dick was in mouth doesn't mean she wasn't forced and it's not clear if she was or not. We didn't see what happened so we can't be sure if she was giving signals that she liked it or not but in the case of arguing against what I said I don't see how it's re…

I'm not like that and I can understand why some women would be like that but men also get defensive like that, maybe not particularly like that. Some men I have witnessed though completely hate women and blame them for all there problems and whenever someone does that I don't think either side is right. I can understand why men and women get upset but I try to give both the benefit of the doubt if they act that way because personally I don't like conflict. I say it in both scenarios. I wasn't su…

I understand what he's saying, I just don't see how difficult he says women are to read. I don't think they are. No one asked you to be mind readers and it's not like men always express what they feel openly either so if you guys think that's a problem then maybe you should try being more open too.

Examples of how women are indirect, obviously. You've basically been saying the same thing about how men are direct and women aren't and not giving me any proof, until now. You just read too much into the situation. A woman could easily assume the "were good times" means that the guy isn't having a good time now. All the woman in the situation was doing is keeping with the past tense saying "used to" because in that time she did like you but that doesn't mean she doesn't now just like saying "we…

I'm talking about generally and I meant in the sense that they should be taught not to do what they did again, not telling them how to do it. Not necessarily just at work, there are other ways. You shouldn't try hitting on someone at work because you're supposed to be professional, by all means do it somewhere else if you get the idea that they seem interested or if you wanna see if they're interested. I don't understand your first question. I understand that women can either be interested or no…

How is pursuing a women who seems uniterested suppsed to be part of the dating game? I thought the goal was to attract girls who did seem interested but the way you said it seems like the guy knew the girl was uninterested and still advanced. Sometimes it's difficult for anyone to read body language but I don't understand how a woman makes it so difficult that guys don't get whether or not a woman is interested or not. How many ways could you possibly show/say you are or aren't interested? I can…

Ok, if women are so indirect please give me some example because I'm not sure how else you could turn someone down besides the obvious ways. How do women do that? No one expects anyone to be a mind reader. I said I realize they make mistakes but you didn't address the fact that I said once they've done something wrong they should be explain that it's not right. Not everything should be left up to trial and error, especially if someone is offended. Like I said they should be taught. Once again, y…

So, you're telling me if a woman says she isn't interested in a guy he should take it as her opinion and just assume that she is interested because he thinks she is and still hit on her? That's what I meant by that if I wasn't clear. I obviously know that's not the case and that isn't what I meant. I meant if a guy begins to hit on a woman and she isn't interested but they continue do it some people would say "he's a guy who likes girls, of course he's going to hit on a woman or says boys will b…

You don't see anything wrong with hitting on a woman who isn't interested? (I'm not sure if that's what you're saying, I'm just wanting clarification). Like when the woman says she isn't interested or she isn't paying attention. It's not a matter of opinion, it's body language and words. I'm not an expert on the guys so I'm not sure how much truth is in that but if it's true that younger males don't understand when a women isn't interested then they should be taught. I'm not sure how difficult i…

"Boys will be boys" aren't just used in instances like that but also when hitting on a woman when they are obviously not wanting the attention. Not all women/feminists are like this.

Did you not read the full article? You act like they only said you have to "yes" for it to be consensual. I'm for equality for all but it's also taking into account body language if someone doesn't explicitly say "yes". If someone's going along with it willingly, it's consensual and if someone isn't going along with it willingly it's rape. How hard is that to understand? It really shouldn't be any different. It's clearly obvious that if someone is not saying anything or moving and is crying the …
