I thought women actually cared about men as people when I was young but most only care about them as providers and protectors to raise their kids. I don't have any interest in filling those roles, I do not want kids, nor do I want women for sex since my 30s. I also don't want to work hard. Let someone else "win" the rat race. I take a lot of time off for travel and just plain leisure. I quit any job that is too annoying. This personality of mine probably eliminates at least 95% of women from bei…

The simple answer is yes it's possible, but for the most who haven't it's simply unbelievable. I can't give you steps, if the red pill wasn't enough maybe you aren't meant for it.

The whole system could fail if you don't enslave yourself, sign up right away for an extra 2-3 decades of corporate slavery with the generous U.S. 2 weeks a year of vacation! Have a kid to motivate you to get out there every day and build the boss's dream!

When I was younger I went thru infatuation with various women. It took a long time but eventually I realized the emotion has nothing to do with specific women at all. In fact, I could feel this way about potentially thousands of women, maybe millions. The only thing that actually has any bearing was that this person is somehow someone I had access to through a social or work setting. From there I realized I don't actually like them, rather it's just a trigger, like "I am hungry and there is a re…

That's a hard one. For me I reached the point where I knew they would notice me, they are easy to impress. And because of that I didn't value it. It's just a given. I know they like me and they can't fool me, I know I would greatly exceed their expectations but in reality they are just a drain on me. I have the upper hand. Similar with jobs, where it is easier to explain. I have great qualifications, I know most companies will hire me, the question then becomes instead, is there any reason I wou…

I understand but we were lied to. Reality was never like this and women's nature is not like this. The worst part is how deeply the lie was believed, and how much it cost us that could have been used elsewhere. If men stop believing this lie we will reach the stars by directing our love where it belongs: to the divine spark within us. If you are going to love women you will have to love them despite their terrible imperfections, despite the inability of the vast majority of them to ever approach…

Their inability to form strong meaningful friendships. Bingo. This is the most shocking thing. It's one of the best things in existence, and they are utterly clueless about it. I don't mean 'girls night' I mean, strong, creative friendships, adventure partners etc.. Not only can they not do it, but they will try to destroy your friendships.

I've come be to believe, men deserve what they get. Men bend over backwards worshipping mediocre women, women who in no way deserve that level of attention. Then they devote their lives to fulfilling female fantasy. They give up everything, and become like little buds that never opened. Most men never flower. They enable women to become our parasites as a consequence of their inordinate devotion to these mundane, uncreative, banal creatures. I blame men for this, it is our fault. Women are clear…

Somehow you have to make progress on both fronts or you will end up a cog. At your age I worked for a couple years and then quit and traveled. I repeated that pattern all thru my 30s. Now in my 40s I am very secure in this. My house is paid off and no job can hold me longer than I desire to be there.

The happiest guy I know is 76, never married, and lives in a share house. He is an amazing gardener. He goes to concerts, rides his bike everywhere, know the names of birds and trees, reads great books, and is psyched with life. What do you actually want? The heaviest weight is expectation. You are brainwashed. Don't worry, we all were. We don't need all this shit. But if you must have it, develop a plan, put your head down for a while, and go get it.

A couple years ago I friendzoned a woman in my circle of friends after she had completely thrown herself at me. She stuck around for a while but her frustration continued to grow after orbiting me for a while and I still never bit. Eventually she dropped out of the entire group and refused to return calls of anyone, even others who formerly enjoyed her company. The secret is that the small things are the best, no matter what you have. You don't have to go anywhere. You do not have to have any particular job or any job at at all if you can swing it. You do not have to eat expensive food. All you have to do is divorce yourself from the expectations of others, and then realize that your internal, true self never really changes, not matter what the external circumstances are. I don't know why anyone would align with either platform. They are both batshit crazy in different ways. It's because poverty is for most, a mental condition. Think of it this way, a competent person who loses money or a relationship can formulate a plan to replenish what he needs. They see things only one way, and don't realize there are several different ways out of the box they are in.

If you understand their true nature and still want to focus on them that's up to you. Odds are very bad. And you have to "become a high quality man" which basically means being a rich conformist corporate slave who 'fits in'. That lifestyle is better than abject poverty but it won't do for a creative soul. You might do all this and still not get anything it supposedly promises. Look at the people you know. It's best to ask yourself when you want to smoke or drink "Will this really enhance my experience or am I using it to escape?". If it's to escape see if you can find a better more healthy outlet.

Sometimes you have to have all the things before you start getting free of them. It's rare to find someone who genuinely embraced a healthy minimalism without choosing it by divestiture. I think it's not an afterlife. What we think of as time is an illusion. We are dead and alive born and unborn all simultaneously. If you look closely at your life you will see key experiences don't happen in order. They merely happen when possible. This is because the deeper reality isn't time bound. You may be setting the stage now for a past experience, for instance. Once you understand this, you can consciously open your awareness to be non time bound. You do this by allowing every moment to …

I just have to chuckle. Juice isn't worth the squeeze. The social conditioning that lead men to sacrifice all for women is breaking down. We were the oppressed sex, because we were expected to work to sustain them, even if we just became burned out automatons in the process.

If you work long enough you realize status of the position means very little and high status jobs often attract talentless egotists who can't actually do their jobs effectively. Ability counts most, but it attracts parasites. If you are a rich fake you may be comfortable but you are still a fake. Authenticity and inner value are harder to come by than money. Power is the ability to let go knowing it's all relative. While you are working another guy is surfing everyday or playing in an awesome ba…

Nothing actually. I am just saying you don't always have to swim with the style current. You can have eccentric style, if used sparingly. Put another way. If you always dress weird, then it's not a statement but an identity. If you occasionally do it, it's a choice and can work in your favor.
/r/MGTOW06/02/17 12:55 PM

I've actually come to the opposite point of view. Real sex is useless and not more pleasurable than my own imagined fantasies. There is no point unless you are trying to make babies. Look at the outcome. Does someone who got laid a thousand times look like a better person to you? Why? Did they cure cancer or win an Olympic medal for it? Are they stronger? Nope. It's just not that big of a deal to not be having sex. But when you are young the body will try to trick you into thinking it is of great importance. It slowly dwindles and that is by most measures a good thing.

I think the "JUSTICE" is that they don't get to become fully human this applies to beta men too. To be fully human is be a creative and powerful whole. They remain partial, dependent and tainted, no matter how much material wealth they commandeer. We are all imperfect, so it's a matter of degree. Women are calculating and on average are better at manipulating others than men. They have accepted this partial life as the calculated compromise.

If they are "interested" its because they can take something from you. It's either money, status, security or some other social validation that amounts to little more than parasitism in the majority of cases. Seeking male or female validation is a trap. The world is chock full of people who just want to use you for their own ends and don't care what happens to you. Adjust your strategy accordingly. Being honest and trustworthy is not the fastest route to success, but if I can be bothered to engage at all, I try to do it as a win-win situation for all parties. First, there is no shortage of energy and it's easy to acquire it when depleted if you are otherwise healthy. The human system both biologically and on the mental/emotional level naturally processes waste and expels it. If you make sure your system isn't compromised you can sift the trash to find the treasure. We are built this way. One needs to recognize and reject parasites, mind vampires and demons in multiple forms and in many mediums. They aren't intrinsic to porn.

The trick with work is, it can be anything you choose to work on that has this effect. If the job isn't producing this, then pick up a private project that is "true work" for as long as necessary.

I used to feel self conscious around women more often. I don't feel it often anymore but when I do I just move away. I now interpret it as annoyance at their encroachment rather than my own awkwardness. Women themselves have always viewed men this way. It's a perspective shift that is permanent now that I no longer value anyone male or female more than my own peace of mind. I suppose my normal reaction now would be to feel condescending. I wish I understood when I was younger that internal value…

I'm pretty sure within a generation we will have true AI and be able to grow humans in vats. Sexual selection is going to mean selecting what you want a computer to make and programming DNA. We could well be one of the last generations to even care about physical sex. Even if only for pleasure, VR will be better.

Your "realization" is still just a phase. You are impressed that now you can get their attention. I hate to tell you but once you become wealthy or successful what they want becomes meaningless. Of course they want it. I could become a complete lazy sack of crap and still they would line up, because if they had a piece of me they could live in luxury and take half of it if they get tired.

I honestly think more and more men are just opting out and that is why more men who aren't are succeeding. Once I realized AWALT I basically lost my sex drive entirely and MGTOW is what made sense. My frame is unbreakable now simply because my interest level is zero. For me, understanding female nature was the ultimate turn off. For me the goal is freedom from any organization or person who basically by nature exists to exploit me. In this modern world the tables have turned. Women don't need my…

When I was younger the months I spent traveling with a backpack were experiments in independence and adventure. I traveled about two years straight on less than 10K and had enough experiences to write a book if I was so inclined. I don't travel much now because I simply don't get as big of a benefit. I'm able to get the experiences I need to keep growing nearby.

Your girlfriend is just another boring person that you have mistakenly idolized.

I think it's natural to go through periods of social withdrawal of weeks months or even a year or two. The psyche has different needs and those needs are somewhat cyclical. The problem with our culture is we encourage self recrimination for our periods of withdrawal or down time when we should appreciate them for what they are -- the prelude to a new phase of self renewal. My advice is let it run it's course and don't harangue yourself over it.

They do exist. Its marvelous to find one because you see evidence that evolution is possible. They are rare because it is usually hardship and the knowledge that no one will save you that leads to MGTOW. So a WGTOW it seems to me is a woman with an unusually deep level of introspection who desires to see the "wiring under the hood" that leads her to living a solitary life of self refinement. A true witch might qualify. I've known two.

After the anger phase (about couple years on and off) I started to feel somewhat smug. My anger was mostly at my own stupidity at not seeing the truth earlier. This smugness is probably a phase too. The only thing that could actually make sex better than masturbating is if you felt a genuine human connection. I realized that for most women who have been on the carousel there was not really any connection anymore so I lost all interest. You can always stick something bigger up your orifice... lol.

The idea of genetic winners and losers means nothing to me. I don't even care if the human races dies out. I think we deserve it if we kill our own planet. I only care about enjoying my own life and living by my own values.

I recommend giving up on them simply because true freedom involves not relying on anyone else for your happiness. After you have given up on them and realized this if you meet a woman you like it will be from a place of non attachment. Make yourself rich and then feel the immense happiness of freedom from being off limits to parasites.

It amazes me that men as a whole haven't realized sex is better virtual. It really is. Pursuing others for sex is over. It's FINISHED over, just like hunting and gathering has been replaced by a grocery store.

Honestly it becomes easy. Like riding a bike. You start to revel in your freedom and take a low profile to preserve it. There is no better life. At first it feels terrible, the initial shedding of a skin. Then you curse yourself for not having done it sooner. Then you finally shrug and realize "at least I'm free NOW" I have already had financial, artistic, athletic successes on multiple fronts. I have experienced romantic relationships and find nothing worth repeating. I simply don't need to do …

Yes. I like to think that they should be short haired and trying to earn my favor by being rich enough and bend backwards charming. I like to imagine them working long hours doing doing hard unglamorous work just like men do. That, just like it is for most men, looking pretty is a luxury most can't afford. After all, isn't that gender equality? Isn't what we have now female privilege with the expectation that men will sacrifice all their sensual characteristics and become hardened just to serve/…

I'm wealthy so it's almost irrelevant. At a certain success level you begin to conceal yourself just to appear normal and avoid hassle. If I had to attract people based on physical appearance I think at most a 7. Basically every now and then a woman will hit on me based on appearances alone but it's not a usual occurrence. I am not often in circumstances where it's even possible though. I hardly even leave my house except to work out or occasionally go see music.

I think any man who deals with females a lot is wasting time unless it is professionally or shared interest. Getting laid is meaningless. I'd rather just take 20 minutes for myself when I need it. Time much better spent. I guess if you've never had sex with a woman go experience that but wanting to keep doing that and obsessing over it past your 20s is like an addiction. Its not all that great even if they are smoking hot and they just waste your time and energy.

Yes once you have all that you need you realize you don't need women. I think most men thinking they need women is from lack of self or financial development.

I make sure to stay away from women in public places like bars or concert venues because too many of them automatically assume they are the center of your attention. They seemingly can't fathom I am actually there just to listen to a band or have a drink and it has nothing to do with them.

Actually you can decide even that. There are lots of people who inflict pain on themselves for enjoyment and there are people who like the taste of dirt and even more foul things. The whole thing is malleable. I would say anything that causes permanent harm isn't in your best interest but others would disagree. Geek Love is an interesting read that deals with some of these themes. The reason to accept this is that frees you to choose. You understand that you could eat dirt and that some people h…

I think we are wired to change our wiring above all else. It started with making basic stone tools or something along those lines. Every natural need and instinct is continuing to be further altered, redirected and subverted by our will. I think we won't become a spacefaring species until we become mostly bio-mechanoid cyborgs, if we survive that long. By that time reproduction may not even resemble what we think of as sex now. I am trying to change my brain to leap ahead. The creative act is th…

I think it's incorrect to say we are wired to care about passing on our genes. We are wired to have a sex drive but it's not connected to the desire for offspring. I've never craved offspring. I don't really see why we shouldn't just completely subvert our sex drives. I also do not want to hunt my own food. Our unnatural substitutes are preferable. It is only recently that virtual experiences exceeded the real in this regard for some people but the number is increasing and I think eventually peo…

That is why secrecy and sanctuary are good things to figure out. Once you have your own place (sanctuary) you can live as you please and think as you will (secrecy). Externally you need make no waves but you are in fact free to be and do what you choose. Others influence doesn't need to extend farther than what is needed for professional relationships. Friendships can be activity and interest based without revealing how you slipped the net. You already discovered that social validation isn't val…

I don't understand why some of you guys are obsessed with percentages. What does 80/20 matter to me when I find 99% of them uninteresting even if "attractive" physically. Physical attraction means next to nothing. It is a common trait in women, often the only trait. The longterm value of it is therefore very low.

I didn't go MGTOW by choice either, it was by observing that financial status was more important to them than anything else. Ironically I achieved that. But now there is no going back. The whole thing was a trap. They will make their traps better but they are still traps. There is nothing better than being free and seeing it for what it is. This is the best outcome I only wish I had found it younger. This is freedom and life without a timeline where we can live for our own dreams and they find s…

It's not enough to be handsome, rich, intelligent, artistic, and funny. You must also sacrifice everything you hold dear to their whims, desire for validation and fantasy. Your sole purpose is to be a provider, while she takes the easier road, and looks good on social media. Your friends and personal ambitions if they don't directly benefit her need to be discarded as well. The more successful you become the more you should realize MGTOW. Its not because of scarcity of any kind.

I'm not so sure. What are the instincts of humans when overpopulated? Overpopulation changes behavior in animals in general. When I see the endless streams of traffic and stinking cities full of people stacked on top of one another, not to mention decimation of the climate and environment the idea of adding more disgusts me. I would rather we declined.

Men and women are about equally idiots. MGTOW, and WGTOW if it exists, make sense to me. Blue pill men are as bad as the typical feminist. Men are enabling the bad behavior so often described in the sub. Only a few wake up.
