I wouldn't fuck around on mainland Africa. HIV is real, and areas that have lower instances of HIV tend to be Muslim nations, or heavily influenced, meaning it's harder for a white guy to meet women. I assume this is what you're after? Being (relatively) wealthy in Africa, so it's easier to hook up with women? That said, Madagascar is an isolated island off the coast and has a lower occurrence of HIV than the US. Extremely inexpensive country, has a decent expat community/infrastructure, and the…

Not weird at all, but be careful not to put the cart before the horse. One date doesn't mean a whole lot. She might be 21 and a hardbody, but if she's needy and a pain in the ass (AKA acts like a 21 year old attractive girl) remember that she needs you more than you need her.

Thank you for the thoughtful post. It sounds like we're similar in a lot of ways. I'm in an LTR now and without going into too much detail, it's going pretty well. Been dating a year, girl takes care of herself and is a sweetheart, etc. My question to you is... if you had to do it all over again... Not get married, or wait for marriage til your 30's... would you do it differently? Is it worth it? Part of me wants to just bail because I know shit is going to turn south eventually, and as I get ol…

In the summertime in my town we do a themed weekly bike ride, where everyone dresses up and puts glow sticks on their bikes, and between 50 and 100 people on bikes clog up the roads and intersections following a loud sound system on wheels. We start at a bar, drink beers on the ride, stop at parks and have mobile dance parties - and drink beer. It's a pretty great time for those who are participating. For those who aren't, well... They have three choices: be patient and wait the ~90 seconds it t…

For starters, well played for being able to get yourself out of a physical confrontation using your intellect. It's much more difficult to avoid a fight than to get in one... and it looks better, too. And also, don't fuck yourself over by getting in legal trouble. It will haunt you for years and years, and you may never be able to get certain types of jobs (any kind of public servant for violent crimes). That said, knowing how to fight will make it less likely that you'll actually get into a fig…

I feel mostly the same way, as well, though I'm not married. I'm now 30, am in a LTR, and trying to decide if it's worth it. Marriage is not utilitarian. You don't gain anything by it. It's a money pit. But art is not utilitarian. It doesn't 'benefit you as a man'. Nor does music, playing chess, jumping from a plane, philanthropy, drawing, reading sci-fi, memorizing lines from bad movies, or taking care of your lawn. None of those 'does anything for you', yet they do add a tremendous amount of v…

You'll be less effective at your job and won't be able to learn as quickly if you're tired and hung over all the time. It sucks going to the gym hung over. Alcohol causes muscle atrophy, and has a lot of empty calories. In short: this lifestyle is bad for you. Seek fullfillment, not pleasure.

And that's the red pill stance, the alpha stance. Trouble is, if you have any hope of getting married one day, or being in a healthy lasting relationship, you can't always be shitting on the person - you'll have to get shit on equally. It's a choice you make (or not)... This is what I'm finding out, any how. I can stay with my girlfriend (who by redpill relationships standards is pretty amazing), but if I want to get married I know I'll have to trade some alpha traits for beta. IF I want to get …

Something I've learned from following TRP for the last few years is this methodology is simply not designed to function in a LTR. If you want to LTR, you have to be ok with being half Alpha, and half Beta. Maybe even a little more Beta than Alpha.. A relationship is a semi equal partnership to begin with, with both sides making compromises. Being Alpha a lot of times not making compromises - with how you spend your time, who you hang out, with your career, etc. A LTR is essentially a long string…

I'm kind of in line with your thinking, as well. Besides sex, I don't really get much out of my relationship.. But it's good, low key, she likes to do fun things. I'm guessing I'd probably miss her/the relationship if we split. But right now... what's the point?

i'd like to reiterate what u/full_package said and repeat that a property will have property tax that goes with it... It's also very likely, though you might get super lucky and be all paid off, that it has a mortgage. If you decide to just stop paying the mortgage (because you know, this is your home now), you will destroy your credit. If you don't want the burden of homeownership at such a young age, do yourself a favor and sell the thing. You gotta go one way or the other in this situation: m…

There's a way to calmly and responsibly assume responsibility of your father's assets.. It doesn't have to be an insane battle. In fact, this house is actually yours. Do you have any siblings? What does your father's will say? You should really, REALLY determine ownership of the property, even if you don't want to force her out of it. If the property is in your name and she's living in it full time, you need to establish rental terms and liability...

Are they morning classes? I know it seems difficult, but treat college as you would having a full time job. Go to sleep at a reasonable hour (no later than 10!), wake up at 6:30, have your morning coffee, go to class EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Don't drink on weekdays, get rid of your television... I used to work late nights when I was in college and had a hell of a time making it to early classes on time... my grades were affected, and it's making grad school applications that much more challenging. While unfortunately I'm pretty terrible with empathy, especially when it comes to depression and girls, I appreciate that you at least want to be a decent human being to this girl. My roommate is like this... cool chick, but is just... kind of a sad person. I honestly have no idea what to say to her. I'd give my guy friends pragmatic advice to fix what's broken in their lives: I'd help them find a new job, help with resume stuff, spruce up their Tinder profile, tell em to get a fuckin hair cut, …

I have a very different perspective on this. You and your ex-girlfriend are what, 17/18 now? Are you from the same town? Do you have mutual friends? This world is very small, and the little relationship that you guys had was probably pretty brief. You WILL see this girl again in your life. Maybe at a party, 10 years from now, or 15 years from now. You'll have a mutual friend, and you'll randomly run into each other. Maybe she'll be a co-worker? Maybe she'll finish school and move back or any num…

And not just befriending them in a sycophantic type of way. Become legitimate friends with them, if possible. Have beers together, do sports together. Learn something. This logic applies to a lot of situations: if someone at work is better at your job than you are, then learn from them. If a guy has better social skills or is just more interesting, find out what makes them more interesting and learn a thing or two to improve yourself.

It becomes a shit test when I say no and she gets whiny. Maybe that's not the word for it... whatever you want to call it, whining to get something is not ok. If that's what this relationship is going to look like then she can be on her merry way. I will take your advice, though. I'll concede to her requests, and do it to the best of my ability. My prediction is that the requests will become only more and more frequent, and I'll start hearing more and more "but I do it for youuuuuuu", and "aaaww…

I appreciate that you want to keep this conversation civil and productive. I'm very open to rubbing of all things... head, back, ass, pussy, all of that yumminess. A lot of the responses here are good, but most confront physical solutions to an emotional issue. Like in most cases in life, the key to overcoming a fear of something is to do it - and do it often. In this situation, it might be a good idea to start sleeping with girls who you, frankly, feel superior to. Get on Tinder and start matching with girls who you feel are below your worth. Have a few of those plates, shed yourself of your scarcity mentality and fucking higher quality girls will be less…

You can explain that you made plans with them, were depending on them, and they let you down so you're frustrated. If you feel like you side of the story needs to be told, that's the best way to tell it. If someone asks you what's happening you can't stonewall your other friends... that would be weird. So try and be as neutral as possible, tell the facts, and summarize how it's affected you. Avoid name calling at all times - that shit is petty and childish.

I'm also in the 'keep it 100' boat. Explain that sex is important to you. You have friends already, you don't need more. Tell her that unless she can quote football stats, name every player on the Warriors and/or develops a sense of humor, then sex is what this is about. Her choice.

I'm somewhere between 50-60. Have a LTR right now so haven't been with anyone else in ~9 months. Honestly, when you have a little game and a Red Pill mindset, girls are just attracted to you and not much effort is required. I've been to 15 countries and lived abroad for 2.5 years. Be smart, be tall, be good looking, take care of yourself and have your shit together and just by being social and going out, women will make their attraction known. All you have to do is engage them.

I think I would rephrase it and describe it in the way that works for me in that situation. In this situation, I'd say something along the lines of "What's the difference?" and if she pursues it further explain that I enjoy her company and sex is very important in a relationship. If we aren't having sex then there's a very big problem. That last sentences accomplishes two things: 1) lets her know that if the sex stops then you will be less happy in the relationship, and more inclined to reevalua…

I like to play the reciprocate game, as well. Even if you aren't interested in taking it to the next level, you: 1) keep your game sharp. Being able to flirt (and flirt well) is a skill, and skills can get rusty. 2) It raises your SMV. If you're among friends or total strangers, if you can hold your own and make jokes when under pressure, reciprocate with skillfull flirting, it makes you look good. Which segues to the 3rd advantage of reciprocating... 3) If your plan A fails, you have a solid fo…

Spending $2,000 on alcohol for ANY occasion seems like a terrible decision. It's too late now since you made your promise, but I'd let her know that if she wants to get all of her broke ass friends drunk on her birthday she can do that herself, and you're saving your money for things that matter... Bottle service and alcohol are completely illogical, imo, and do nothing to add to quality of life. It's about the closest thing you can get to setting your cash on fire.

How old are you and what is the context? Highschool project? Sure, go ahead. College project? Depends if she's in your major and you will see her in the future... Work project? Do NOT shit where you eat. This relationship is going to end, like all relationships. Be smart about where you're picking up women, or it will bite you in the ass. Judging by the language, responses and clear lack of experience, I'm guessing highschool... so go for it.

Let her know right now that you have absolutely no interest in being with her, but you will be fighting for custody of the kid. Let her know straight up that you aren't interested in raising the kid with her, and maybe she'll think twice about abortion? Hopefully she balks at a) not getting child support because you're perfectly capable of having joint custody and b) raising the kid individually. Single mothers make shit parents.

Yikes man, I'm getting internal alarms blaring in my head as I read that. Get out while you can, or 3 years down the road you're going to realize what a quagmire you're in and try to end it, and she'll try and off herself and blame you for it. Run. Away. Save. Yourself.

Laugh, and tell her to go take a nap because she's being fussy. If she doesn't stop then say you're leaving, and you will not tolerate this kind of behavior. If she's at your place, tell her to go home and get some rest because she's cranky and needs a nap. She can have her shit fits, but she's not allowed to drag you in with her.

How to Win Friends and Influence People - Dale Carnegie My biggest take-aways from that book were so simple yet profoundly changed my life: a) Always smile when you meet someone, and smile when you greet people. It's incredible what this can do for you and your personal and business relationships. It also made me aware of other people who don't smile when they see you, even if unintentionally, and how that affects the way you perceive them. b) Never talk shit about someone, even if they're your …

Learn another language (or two) and start making plans to visit a country where you can hone that skill. Many Americans speak a second language, not many speak 3 or 4. Any (French speaking, Spanish speaking, Russian speaking, Portuguese speaking, German speaking, etc) girl who comes to visit will jump on your dick pronto. It's about earning respect and being a person worth being around. Knowing your value and not accepting less. As for enjoying your own company... The entire goal of Red Pill philosophy is to increase your personal value so that people (men and women) are attracted to you as a leader. That's really it. Work hard, continue to improve yourself and you won't need an insecure woman. Nah. I approach relationships (friendships, LTR's, plates, whatever) with women as though they need someone to lead them. A successful leader doesn't condescend or waste energy on stupid shit like name calling. It's ineffective, creates resentment and insecurity. This is a tactic I like to use with girls sometimes if I know they clearly aren't dtf the first date. If I know making out isn't going to lead anywhere early, I'll act sexual, get them interested, then withhold affection if I can sense they want it. If you can keep that frame it makes you more attractive. Of course it only works if she's strongly attracted in the first place. Perverted sounds synonymous with childish, in this case. I'd stay away from that around men or women. Morbid could go either way with men, but you probably want to stay away from it with 80% of the women you meet. Most just won't get it or won't be able to understand the humor or freedom that comes from acknowledging a topic which is dark or morbid and owning it. Men like to address challenging subjects head on, women tend to skirt them out of fear.

There must be some kind of Economics Theory that explains this.

A lot of those girls were dateable material, and a few of them I did date. It's never been about the girl, though. For me, and probably a lot of men, it's not who I meet but at what stage of my life I'm in. I'm 28 and still like to go out to meet people, girls, have my life. Marriage right now sounds like a damn death sentence. No thank you.

Yeah I agree. It feels like it could be a pretty empty existence just having ONS for the next 20 years. No depth, no complexity. I wonder, though, what TRP has to say about this. Let's say life gives us 3 options: Settle into a LTR, eventually get married; Continue gaming and plating until eventually 'retiring' into monkmode; and continue gaming and plating until you get to the point where you still have some SMV, then marry way late and forgo kids. I haven't really formed an opinion on which on…

Not dismissing your point, but: I have a partner count at roughly 50, but at the moment have no desire to stay in a LTR. Probably because my plates are a little too young (me 28, them 22 & 24) and just aren't LTR material, but honestly I just... meh. Doesn't seem appealing.

I'm curious to hear others responses to this, as well. Usually with younger, less educated/life experienced women, I can talk about myself and they eat it up. With women my own age I've found that letting them chat about themselves works more in my favor. I've only started to notice this recently.

Sounds like we have some differing advice here. You two had a good conversation, she came back to see you and give you here phone number. You don't really need to game anymore at this point. Send her a text in a few days to see if she wants to grab drinks.

I just have one of those body types where if I'm working out with even moderate intensity I have a lot of trouble gaining weight. I'm working on changing my diet and upping my caloric intake to hopefully get around 10%. Pomegranate juice is delicious so probably worth it all around.

Good advice. More eggs, less mouth breathing. I'm on it.

Whoa. 28 yo, ~8% body fat. Sometimes lose boners. Good to know.

yeah I'll second this. Say no to shirtless bathroom selfies. Shirtless rafting, surfing, general watersports is ok.

I'm up to like 2 dates a week. I actually had to cancel one for tomorrow because a better looking girl wanted to meet up for a beer... Seriously, not enough days in the week... Keep messages simple, keep small talk to a minimum (it's required, but no more than like 5 messages), don't say creepy shit. I try to let them choose a bar they like, or say something like "do you have a favorite place in mind?" If not, then be decisive. "Great. How does XYZ bar @ 7 on Tuesday sound?"

A "we still on for 8 tonight?" seems perfectly normal to me.

My advice is to stay away from friends if you want to have plates. They don't much like it when they find out you're seeing multiple people at once, and then you lose that friend base. Keep your sex life separate and keep the friends you have.

My hobbies are nearly all sports. I lift as well, but play tennis, ski, hike, table tennis, biking, fish.

Next time she texts give her a brief "this isn't going to work out" text. Odds are she's fucking someone else, anyway, and won't put up a fight. If she does respond and plea, send one more text to the tune of "no, really, this isn't going to work out. We're done" and don't respond anymore.
