Wealthy man with different valuesAbsolutely. That’s why I’m debating. I made a big mistake with my first husband. I should be clear that I’m asking this question because this is something that’s fallen in my lap, not something I sought out. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/01/26 02:17 AM
Wealthy man with different valuesI should’ve clarified that I think his values in his personal life seem great. He appears to treat people very well. It’s more as things apply to society at large, but frankly, I think I’m extrapolating a lot from a few stray comments and the comments on this post have reminded me of that. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/01/26 02:16 AM
Wealthy man with different valuesThank you. This is the answer I needed to hear. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/01/26 01:57 AM
Wealthy man with different valuesBecause I was married. Perhaps I should also say that I’m Ivy League educated, with a masters and a 6 figure business. I’m not making $40 an hour working at Crunch. I didn’t mention those things because I was under the impression that they don’t hold much sway. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/01/26 01:52 AM
Wealthy man with different valuesAgreed! I really appreciate this response. I did push back about Elon in a relatively good-humored way. He took it in stride and sent me a nice text the following morning. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/01/26 01:42 AM
Wealthy man with different valuesWe definitely have other stuff in common. :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 10:42 PM
Wealthy man with different valuesDefinitely wasn’t trying to be rude at all. Was it the form of address? I’ll edit it. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 10:36 PM
Wealthy man with different valuesAlso, would someone who has kids in their twenties WANT someone younger than me? I feel like that would cause drama in the family. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 10:34 PM
| -2 | Wealthy man with different valuesFair. I’m still getting to know the guy. Perhaps I’m being hypervigilant. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 10:33 PM |
Wealthy man with different valuesHaha No, he’s definitely not the richest man I’ve ever met. He’s richest man I’ve ever entertained romantically, and that’s mostly because I’ve always prioritized looks. My first husband might’ve been broke, but he looked like an underwear model. And you might be right about how old I look, though people are constantly surprised. I also never had kids, am a personal trainer with sub 20% body fat, and haven’t had a drink in over two decades, so I would say that I’m an outlier for my age group. I … | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 10:32 PM
Wealthy man with different valuesI understand what you’re saying but he does have other positive points. In fact, practically everyone I know is urging me to go for it. If anything, it’s my scruples holding me back. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 10:14 PM
Wealthy man with different valuesWhat makes you so sure? He’s had a crush on me for over a year. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 10:11 PM
Wealthy man with different valuesWord. Probably not. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 10:06 PM
Wealthy man with different valuesMarriage. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 09:53 PM
Wealthy man with different valuesThanks for reminding me not to jump to conclusions. :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 09:33 PM
Wealthy man with different valuesHe’s also said that he went to a funeral and Don Jr. was there. Perhaps I should specify that he’s a business man. And said something about people needing to be able to get along in California. Maybe I’m just being hypervigilant. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/01/26 09:24 PM
Any wives familiar with Laura Doyle’s Intimacy Skills want to start a discussion group (Surrendered Circle)?Hi, I just tried to join and it says the link is expired! | /r/RedPillWives | 22/04/21 02:53 AM
Curious who’s read « Marry Him » and what you thinkYes! Thank you. I agree. Also, we do have SOME common interests and it’s occurred to me that I could go and find a man who likes art museums only to get annoyed with how he won’t go to the gym with me. After rereading the book I’ve decided to take the leap. I picked out a ring and am hoping for a proposal this fall! | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/07/20 04:00 PM
Vetted, Committed, but wants to see other people. You are inviting the next man into your life. I know it sounds woo-woo but you are sending a strong message to something, whether that’s the universe, your subconscious, or the subconscious of a man you encounter. You will reap what you sow and what you are sowing is beautiful. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/05/20 04:23 AM
How to be "fun" when you're together 24/7I’ve noticed that my boyfriend seems the most crazy about me when I’m happily engaged in my own activities. When I was racing to finish a draft of my book he couldn’t stop telling me how beautiful I was. It was honestly kind of funny. Laura Doyle talks about this. Just focus on doing things that make you happy, your projects and hobbies. You’ll be happy and magnetic and you’ll give the relationship space. | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/05/20 01:20 PM
Curious who’s read « Marry Him » and what you thinkI really think the book was NOT about accepting poor treatment or an unenthusiastic/avoidant partner. Quite the opposite. It’s about focusing on those traits that make a good husband, first and foremost that they want to get married, and letting go of those traits that aren’t relevant like height, job title, etc. As far as someone loving you, don’t let your sight or hearing keep you from having positive self-regard. My brother is deaf and his current wife was his first serious deaf girlfriend. H… | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/05/20 02:37 PM

So, my father asked my husband for a divorce. It’s total bs. She’s so committed to staying that she won’t listen to anyone on here. | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/05/20 01:54 AM

So, my father asked my husband for a divorce. That’s exactly what I was thinking. Maybe they’d be better off with someone else. 💔 | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/05/20 11:54 PM
So, my father asked my husband for a divorce.This. Absolutely this. If both parents appear to present a united front they will assume they did something wrong to deserve such punishment. And the fact that he hit them, including a baby, means he’s likely been quite frightening in the past. | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/05/20 09:50 PM

When he’s ‘perfect’ but there’s no intimacy—can intimacy be built?Another thing I should add is that the infatuation phase is built on illusion, the illusion that a person will somehow lift your life to another plane. | /r/RedPillWomen | 19/05/20 04:13 PM

When he’s ‘perfect’ but there’s no intimacy—can intimacy be built?I agree that you probably shouldn’t start over. People with « okay » marriages tend to get happier in marriage as time goes by. Those who divorce are unhappier after the same number of years, even if they remarry. This could be because they feel disillusioned when they realize that getting another spouse didn’t solve the problem. The problem is not the spouse but unrealistic expectations. The researcher who did these studies is named Amato. That said, there’s plenty you can do. Be vulnerable wit… | /r/RedPillWomen | 19/05/20 04:00 AM

would you still have children if your partner had autism?Just because you wish you weren’t born or your friend wishes she weren’t born does NOT reflect what most people feel, even those with disabilities. Our feelings are caused by our thought patterns(and certainly influenced by brain chemistry). This is why different people have radically different reactions to the same circumstances. This is why cognitive behavioral therapy works. A very basic example: I am 5’11”. My mom at her tallest was 6’. (She’s old now and has shrunk.) She was determined that… | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/05/20 01:00 AM
Curious who’s read « Marry Him » and what you thinkAt 5’11” myself, I’ve never understood the fixation on wanting a man so much taller than you are! Men are usually about my height. Probably half of the men I’ve dated have been shorter and my current boyfriend is 5’10”. I just want a guy to be sturdy enough to give me a piggy back ride. 😂 | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/05/20 02:34 PM
Curious who’s read « Marry Him » and what you thinkI wonder whether you’ve read the book, though? It’s really about how women have become so entitled that they think they deserve Prince Charming when they themselves are just human. It’s a critique of hypergamy. Nowhere in the book does she ask women to marry someone they don’t love. She just asks that we focus on criteria that actually matter for a marriage rather than a superficial checklist. And she asks that we really appreciate the man in front of us and focus on his good aspects, a practice… | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/05/20 01:19 PM

Curious who’s read « Marry Him » and what you thinkYes! Thank you! | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/20 03:04 PM
About to become a single mom... Is there any hope?By real men I meant a marriage minded man. It was a bit offensive and I apologize. However, it still stands. Marriage minded men ARE looking for character. For many the credit she gets for character may not outweigh the fact that she has children, but for many it will. One of the best ways to demonstrate character is through how you handle responsibility. | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/20 03:03 PM
Posture devicesWhatever you do, don’t let them pull teeth! It will make the jaw smaller. If they want to pull teeth, find another orthodontist who understands airways. Dr. Gelb also has a book called Gasp. It’s very accessible and a quick read. Best of luck!! | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/20 02:56 PM
About to become a single mom... Is there any hope? This is so absurd. Real men value character and this is an enormous display of character. | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/20 02:46 PM
About to become a single mom... Is there any hope? This. My boyfriend is a single dad and I love his kids but it makes my skin crawl to think of him sleeping with other women. | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/20 02:41 PM
Posture devicesJust to illustrate my point, look at photos of people in hunter gatherer cultures. You will not see anyone with poor posture. They have to be physically active and they have to chew much more than we do because they’re not eating soft, processed foods. Because of this lifelong chewing their jaws and palate expand more than ours and so they have larger sinuses (the palate is the floor of the sinuses) and a more open airway. Not saying that a reminder device won’t be helpful, but fix the underlyin… | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/20 02:34 PM

Curious who’s read « Marry Him » and what you thinkWhen we first met I’d been single a long time and I was just SO GRATEFUL I had a fun, attractive guy who was so consistent in his interest in me and who wanted to have a serious relationship. (This is very hard to find in NYC, which is filled with plate spinners.) Now, two and a half years in, I think it’s easy to forget how good I have it! | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/20 02:25 PM
Curious who’s read « Marry Him » and what you thinkSuch valid concerns! We would actually be moving to a town called Beacon that has a small museum. I told him that I’m ONLY interested in living in Beacon, not any of the other towns nearby because it’s important to me that I be near artists and writers, which Beacon has. I actually know a couple of people up there already. It’s also quite near NYC, just a short train ride. He lived there when we first met and one of us went to see the other every weekend. The way NYC is laid out, it would take m… | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/20 01:58 PM
Posture devicesOh wow, if it’s that serious you might also look into palatal expansion. There are some dentists who do it. If you’re anywhere by NYC, look up Dr. Gelb. Here is a podcast he did that will really blow your mind. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/somatopsychics-physiology-psychology-human-organism/id1437789922?mt=2&i=1000420813137 | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/20 01:46 PM
Curious who’s read « Marry Him » and what you thinkOh yes, I am not fooling myself. I know not to expect any children. I have talked to him about my feelings and I know I have to decide for myself. I personally do not want to have a biological child because of my concerns for overpopulation and climate change. However, I do want to help children. I think I have to get clear about what I want. I have always been ambivalent about having children. | 8 | Posture devicesHi! I’m a trainer and have worked on posture a lot with people. I haven’t seen your posture, but in general you want inner core, like transverse abdominus, and hamstrings and glutes, and you really have to work on the neck. I have to tell you that probably most postural issues come about from poor breathing strategies. For instance, I have one client who came to me with ABYSMAL posture. She had been doing Pilates for years with a ton of ab work and it did nothing for her. She had forward head po… | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/20 05:39 AM

Trying to decide if I should move in with his parents --please help!Yes. They can get air filters and you can brush the cat daily and keep her out of their bedroom. Unless someone is severely allergic, that’s usually enough. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/05/20 05:25 AM
Trying to decide if I should move in with his parents --please help! This. That would be an absolute deal-breaker for me. Unless you can put her with a close relative and you can get her back if this implodes, I think this is a bad idea for you and for her. Rehoming is actually very stressful for animals. And for the love of god please don’t take her to a shelter, not that I’m assuming you would... All that aside, I think it will be very hard to move out WITH your boyfriend once you’ve already moved in. He’ll have no incentive to do so. You can always move out on… | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/05/20 05:23 AM
Is “the wall” a real thing? For me it did. My 40-year-old, still beautiful client and I were lamenting on this recently. I never had very thick hair but when I was younger it was super soft and shiny. But as I got into my mid thirties, it was like no matter what I did my ends were dry and puffy and dull and my roots got oily quickly. Once I started New Wash, that changed. Putting silk on my hair at night helped even more. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/05/20 01:45 PM
We talked all night, and then he dropped a bomb.Stay on the apps and keep dating. I can’t tell you how many times I fell for a guy hook line and sinker before he really demonstrated his intentions or made a commitment. If he’s really interested in you, you’ll hear from him either when he’s away or when he gets back. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/05/20 04:49 AM
Is “the wall” a real thing?Oh, also, I love Babelash lash growth serum. It has the same active ingredient as Latisse. I can wear less eye makeup with healthy lashes: mascara, light brown eyeshadow, and a simple brown eyeliner just on the waterline does the trick for an everyday look. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/05/20 04:41 AM
Is “the wall” a real thing?I’ll leave it here so it can help everyone! SKIN: I use Curology for my skin. It is a whole system with a cleanser, prescription, and moisturizer. It’s about $30 a month. IT’S A BARGAIN. They have docs you send your photo to. I also like to do facial gua sha, which is a Chinese stone massage. You can check out The Wilding. | 33 | Is “the wall” a real thing?Hi, as a 37 year old who met her man at 35, I’ll speak to my own experience. The wall is not hard and fast. When I was younger I got a ton of attention, even though I spent most of my twenties dressing very trendy and wild and wearing funky glasses. It worked well for a while, but I didn’t have RP so I couldn’t hold onto anyone for long. Then around age 30, I noticed the attention start to wane, I started dressing a little more conventionally and got in great shape and if anything I got MORE att… | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/05/20 12:17 AM
What is the line between being a girlfriend and being a wife? This is perfect. I have been living with my boyfriend for a year and a half, since before I discovered RP. He moved from upstate down to NYC because he can work pretty much anywhere. He wants to move back upstate but I told him I couldn’t do it unless we were married. I have a business here that’s very profitable and although I could live upstate and come down 3 days a week, and although it would actually be a wonderful lifestyle, I’m not going to uproot myself without that commitment. | 7 | Sexually available?I think that what you’re describing in the deadbedroom sub is a little more complex than that. I think my boyfriend is very sexy. A lot of women do, actually. He is a competitive weightlifter. I see women swoon over him all the time. I love the way he smells. I love his body, all of it. I enjoy having sex with him. During our first months as a couple, sex was exciting. Now, after two and a half years together, although it’s enjoyable, it’s a little boring. Just remember that right now rose gold is having a moment and that it may end up looking dated, depending on how rosy the rose gold is. But if you love rose gold, do it! Rose cut diamonds are also trendy but I have my heart set on one. But in terms of something being $300 cheaper... if you’re married 40 years, that works out to $7.50 more a YEAR that he paid. | 3 | What’s a reasonable price for an engagement ring?Congratulations! I love those stones so much. Have you looked into how to care for opals? They’re quite fragile! | 3 | What’s a reasonable price for an engagement ring?Right now my boyfriend is picking up extra shifts to save for a ring. The fact that he wants to make sacrifices to get me a ring I love means A LOT to me. Although it’s a nice gesture to pick a very cheap ring, it’s important to remember that you want the ring to last the rest of your life. Silver is quite soft. It bends and scratches very easily. That means you’ll need gold or platinum. Gold is at a premium right now. Further, many stones aside from diamond, moissanite, sapphire, and ruby are s… | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/05/20 11:50 PM
What’s a reasonable price for an engagement ring? This all depends on the situation. It depends on other financial goals. I think for most people it doesn’t make any sense. For instance, my boyfriend probably makes $5-$6k a month, but I wouldn’t dream of asking for a ring that costs $15-$18k. He’s a truck driver and is saving up for his own trucks, which will allow him to make multiple times what he currently makes. He’s been saving hard for down payments which, for two trucks would be about $20k. Asking him to spend his whole savings on a ring… | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/05/20 11:33 PM
Lifting for fat complete beginnersStudies have proven that when matched for volume, different rep schemes produce almost identical muscle mass. Also, what gets your heart rate up are large movements like squats, lunges, deadlifts, cardio. For instance, doing a shoulder press for 20 reps is not going to burn too many calories. A set of 5 full squats would do more. | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/05/20 11:24 PM
Lifting for fat complete beginnersHey, I totally agree with you, but as a trainer who strength trains only women, I will say that results vary. Some women will automatically and unconsciously make up the calories by eating more. I’ve had a number of clients who gained weight by lifting. They didn’t get any bigger, just heavier, but they also didn’t get any smaller. Personally, I have gained 10 lbs. and stayed the same size as when I started 6 years ago. (Though I’m quite slim at 5’11” and a size six.) For these people, I recomme… | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/05/20 11:19 PM
Lifting for fat complete beginnersIF actually doesn’t have any magic to it. Studies have shown this. The reason it works for some people is inadvertent calorie restriction. If IF works for you, that’s great! But if it causes stress, just know that you can get the same results eating 3-4 meals a day. | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/05/20 11:13 PM
New to sub so please be gentle. I turned 25 and I am one of those people that basically did everything opposite the red pill and I fear it’s too late!25 is young! Also, “the wall” is not something you have no control over. For instance, I noticed in my late twenties that I wasn’t getting as much attention as I was used to. I got in amazing shape at 30 and, boom, I was back to getting the level of attention I got in my early twenties. (Though I should note that I’ve always looked several years younger.) | 5 | Do you think that women are influenced to be sluts?I was quite promiscuous when I was younger. I definitely think I was influenced. I believed that my sexuality was my value. I lost my virginity because at 18 I was the last virgin among my friends and everyone seemed to think it was strange. I always just wanted to do things to fit in and feel cool. | 9 | Feeling lost. Tired of holding my tongueThis. When I was 19 I had a 34 year old boyfriend who told me that any woman over 26 who was single was either unattractive or a jaded bitch. I later understood that a woman his age would probably never have put up with him. I don’t think it’s always the case that it’s malicious and can’t work. A good friend of mine had a younger girlfriend with a similar age gap for two years. Although I am positive that he really loved her, he himself admitted that he liked how he could “nurture” her. He helpe… | /r/RedPillWomen | 20/04/20 04:15 AM
Worked on my femininity and I have NEVER felt better!Feels a little silly since I’m 37, but I know workout skirts exist. Maybe I’ll do a little research. Thanks for the suggestion! | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/03/20 03:05 PM
Worked on my femininity and I have NEVER felt better!I wish I could wear dresses more often! I’m a personal trainer so I’m in tights all the time. I try to keep it feminine and fun with pastels and jewel tones, and a bow or a fun scrunchie, but my boyfriend does love it whenever I wear a dress on the weekends. I’d like to get a really pretty robe to wear at home. | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/03/20 05:00 AM
Utilising RPW theory when you don't naturally fit? It’s really going to change your life if you’re able to do this and stick to a diet. You’re going to wish you’d done it years ago! | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/02/20 05:20 AM
Utilising RPW theory when you don't naturally fit?I see. Machines cost thousands, but I just Googled and there are lots of options as low as ten quid a month. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.goodtoknow.co.uk/wellbeing/affordable-gym-membership-93926/amp | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/02/20 05:12 AM
Utilising RPW theory when you don't naturally fit?Neither of these are what you need. I recommend going to the YMCA in your area or see if there is a gym like a Planet Fitness that has a $10 a month membership deal. Good luck! | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/02/20 01:51 PM
Utilising RPW theory when you don't naturally fit?Just want to pipe up as a personal trainer. Please do resistance training if you are going to diet. Otherwise you can lose a substantial amount of muscle, which will lower your metabolism. If your body doesn’t think it needs the muscle it will discard it, often before it discards fat. As you lose weight, you will find it harder and harder to continue losing weight because you have lost muscle, which burns a lot more calories at rest than fat does. Your metabolism will have tanked. This is part o… | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/02/20 05:28 AM
Are only narcissistic emotional manipulators charming? Are nice emotionally aware men supposed to be boring? It depends. Charm is a skill that is honed. Someone very charming has spent a lot of time charming people, for whatever reason, sometimes manipulation. Also, one of the things that women often find charming are flattery and future faking. Too much of these are bad signs. But guys can be sweet and funny and pay you sincere compliments and be totally healthy. | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/02/20 02:11 AM
How to start idealizing a healthy relationship/man and get over the dopamine addiction of on and off guys? Also, there’s a very good episode on Dating, Perfectionism, and Anxious Attachment on the Unf*ck Your Brain podcast. | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/02/20 07:16 PM
How to start idealizing a healthy relationship/man and get over the dopamine addiction of on and off guys?I think a big part of the dopamine high comes from the validation. I wasn’t able to get into a stable relationship until I started offering myself consistent self love and validation. I stopped criticizing myself so much and then I wasn’t so affected by whether or not someone else gave me validation. It blunted the effects of the hot and cold game. | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/02/20 07:12 PM
Would you leave a hvm if he wasn’t affectionate? Can you live the rest of your life with that level of affection? | /r/RedPillWomen | 17/02/20 01:10 AM
When do I give up on hope that he likes me back?If you only get crushes on guys who aren’t interested in you, that’s something to look at. They’re giving you intermittent reinforcement. Rat studies have shown that rats will press a lever MORE if it occasionally delivers food than if it delivers food every time. So because this guy is not super interested, you feel a kind of nervousness, and then when he’s charming or flirty, you get a big hit of dopamine. You think it’s because he’s more charming, more interesting, etc., but it’s more likely … | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/02/20 03:02 PM
Can I learn to embrace femininity after a lifetime of fighting it? How much do I need to change to attract the kind of man I want? The reason you wrestle so much with femininity is internalized misogyny. This internalized misogyny makes you want to both have manly men and to be the manly man because you’ve been led to believe femininity is so silly and repulsive. I’ve been there! So just to preface, I am very tough in certain ways. I used to work in the wilderness, finding my own water and navigating with a map and compass. I am 5’11” and 155lbs of muscle. I’m a competitive Olympic style weightlifter. I actually could defen… | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/02/20 04:42 AM
