If you are any good at painting do what I used to do. Buy 2 of the same model, paint them both up, keep the one you like best and put the other on ebay. I used to do this when my son was into warhammer but didn't like painting up the figs. I got a free hobby and he got free minis. Win win. The inability to gauge peoples moods and motivations is a disadvantage in interacting with anyone but especially so with anyone who has, or is trying to gain, an advantage over you in any way. Agreed. I am guilty of using the word feel instead of think on very rare occasion. I only use it when I haven't put much thought into something or have absolutely nothing to back the idea up with.
