Don't get married. This exists to make the best out of a bad situation.

NO NO NONO NO NONO NO NONO NO NONO NO NONO NO NONO NO NONO NO NONO NO NO. DO NOT TALK ABOUT THIS. If you vomit all over her about this, any and all improvement you have made is for NOTHING. You will be back to the beta-bitch you were before.

Your Frame...well....complete lack of frame and leadership is sinking your ship. There are so many things wrong with your mentality. Neither one of them respects you....and why should they?! Your daughter shit tested you....and you failed. THAT is why your wife is so upset. Fuck man...all you had to say in response to YOUR DAUGHTER....was to laugh, and tell her you're going to be making posters and sitting in the front row cheering as loudly as you can. Then tell her it's sooooo cute she's embar…

Just some thoughts. *Stop emailing your wife* Stop letting her get you emotional. Your response to the article should be a chuckle and an ass slap. I get the idea that you become emotional a lot when you talk to her. <----This is breaking your frame. Just stop taking her so seriously. The best advice I've ever heard here was to treat her like you are 6. What did you do to girls when you were 6?

Go to a local drug store/walmart whatever....buy a prepaid visa card and load it every month. That way you won't have to deal with overdraft fees when she goes over...AND she gets to feel the shame of the decline

For my anniversary 2 weeks ago...i planned for us to go skydiving. Then i didn't tell her until the night before. She refused to go, but no fight ensued. I went and had a great time without her. Went caveman on her ass when I got home. Best Anniversary I've ever had.

Seriously? You're a man and you're asking about dinner? Pick a restaurant. They serve chicken nuggets everywhere. If everyone hates the food you make, maybe don't make it again or learn to make it taste good. Jesus....no wonder you get shit from your family. You can't be confident about your meal choices?! Fer fucks sake

What a great article Mr Ironwood! It really shows why, as men, we need to have lives outside of our families....without our wives seeing how we rank in our MSM, then how should she know our true value. Without an Army to command, and general is just a man by himself. Reading that post really opened my eyes about many social interactions of mine throughout the years. Thanks for the repost!

YOU KNOW THE ANSWER. Your happiness doesn't come from making women happy...and neither does their happiness. If you allow this new woman to command the outcome of your life, you will be back in the same boat you are now.

On the plus side, since you've been married for such a short time, you'd probably qualify for an annulment.....something some of us can only dream about

Cut her ass off then if that's what you wanna do. You're a man aren't ya? But if you do, don't be a butthurt bitch and explain to her why. Just say you're making some changes and leave it at that.

i get how you feeeeel that your situation is the same as a westerner finding out that his wife did 3sums and orgies before they met....but that's not even close to the same thing. BUT, if this is as big of a deal as you've been making it out to be....fuck man, just next the twat. However, since you're so reluctant to leave...."the lean athletic guy" reeks to me of lanky futbol player. Since she seems fine being overweight, i'm seeing a gross overestimation of your own SMV. I can appreciate your …

Lifting has taught me not to rush anything. It seems to be a newbie trap to read everything and drop a nuke within 2 weeks of popping the RP. Seeing the slow transformation of my body reminds me daily that my marriage won't transform overnight either. If lifting wont transform my body overnight, the RP won't transform my life overnight either. PATIENCE

loves you, but not in love with you....AND....spending the night at a "friends" house? Sorry brother. Keep up the great work with the diet and the lifting. Talk to a lawyer so you dont get raped. She may come around, she may not. Either way you'll be a better man

Women are natural followers....get your ass in the gym, improve yourself. You can talk to her all you want, but as will be repeated here time and again, don't talk. DO. I tried talking to my wife for over a year into getting back into shape after the baby....she never did, just bitched about her weight. I finally started hitting the gym hard a month ago....and all of a sudden, guess who wants to tag along? If yours doesn't follow suit after a while(she will), then at least you've gotten back in …

Just do... Women talk. Recall your FAT female coworker who brags about the diet she's starting NEXT week....while eating a candy bar. Pathetic. and for the love of God, don't go looking for validation after 2 workouts.

Come on guy. You were just being a dick...and now you're asking about a shit test? Men are not passive aggressive. You clearly think she's fat. Lead her by getting your ass in the gym.

For the last decade I have hamstered away my need for lifting. Hell, I attracted my hot wife without hitting the gym. Well, sex dropped to the IV drip after the kid came along. I had continued telling myself that it was HER problem that she wasnt attracted to me. Last week I hit the gym for the first time in 10 years. I'm owning my shit now. The IV sexlife, is MY problem to fix. Last night was my third visit...the first steps up the mountain. I know I have a long climb ahead, and no one will car…

Breaking the alcoholism for both me and wife was my ULTIMATE shit test/leadership test. We were both drinking every day (2 years), 3-4 a night for me 5-6 a night for her(whisky 7's). Everything was fine until a failed attempt at starting our own business one year ago. The drinking kicked up a few notches during that period. I lost some serious frame during that time. We had several instances of her going crazy yelling, driving away hammered at 3am, and her just calling the cops to try to get me …

Same boat here brother. I had to tell her the booze or me. Gave her one try to quit or go to rehab, or I'm gone. It's been 4 weeks, drama free. -It took quite a lot of nights like you were describing and some serious OI to get me to having that talk. NOTHING WILL CHANGE IF SHE KEEPS DRINKING

NO more talk. Keep your frame. You are the prize. If she doesn't win you, then someone else will. She knows this now. DO NOT continue to grovel.

The only thing you did wrong was to run and dive back into your wife's frame...after a YEAR "dry spell"...?! You owed that woman NO explanation. Be proud. Be unapologetic. Why care about her feeeelings so much? She clearly doesn't care about yours.
