You should understand what stoicism actually is. It’s very beneficial and not what you’re describing at all.

Biologically and physically speaking that’s pretty true. Not to lift men up or not.

This is dumb. You of course are going to take looks into account for your preference. Some people like this others like this... this is not a problem, it’s attraction

Girls prefer V taper but not to the point of looking like a mutant, which 240 at 5ft 8 sounds ridiculous.

Hey man, this is EXACTLY my situation. I'm 26, live at home, have a great degree and job, friends, workout. I'm so unhappy and depressed its not believable to anyone who sees me on the outside. You need a purpose or goal in life. Unfortunately, getting a 9-5 office job is usually not fulfilling and you either need to have something you are working towards outside of work, or switch career directions to something where you aren't an office drone. (I am currently transitioning to medicine to get o…

I’d recommend finding something you at least somewhat enjoy/have interest in. Coming from experience as a software developer who doesn’t like coding and did it for the money. Not worth it. And it’s hard to master something if you don’t like it. This is just calling for a miserable life imo, but to each their own!

Software engineering is fucking boring sitting in a cubicle staring at a screen all day. Take it from someone transitioning to the medical field from IT

Isn’t there a happy medium? Where you aren’t just cutting off every other person who you come in contact wjth and able to have fun while also being successful and getting to the top? I feel as though it doesn’t have to be these two extremes, but to each their own I guess.

I’ve tried working in tech or a field you aren’t passionate about with adding side hobbies to try to add value. This did not work for me. You spend so much time at your job that no amount of side gigs and hobbies you like outside work just can’t make up for being miserable 5/7 days a week. I’d strongly suggest not doing this and finding a field you have interest or passion for.

Yeah, exactly why you should look into talking to a professional. They can help you better than anyone here. Best of luck

Bro you would go insane if you went from being a cop and loving everything you mentioned about it to an office job in front of a computer all day not helping shit. The money you described is much more than the majority of people make. You would probably feel unfulfilled even if you got rich doing something else. Not worth it. Take it from someone who can’t find a job they like at all and feels unfulfilled every day of the week. The money isn’t worth it. You already are making great money idk wha…

Hey bro, I was about 280 at 23 years old and most docs wanted to not put me on TRT which was annoying, but one put me on clomophine and some vitamin supplements and my level went up to 750 within about 6 months or so. Definitely see a hormone doctor or endocrine.

This is good if that is you’re style or work in a professional Corp environment, but people should dress for their personality rather than all this one style no matter what. Also the no short sleeve thing is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

I suffer with the same issue. I have a boring office job, go to the gym after work, work on music then go to bed. It’s such a repetitive boring lifestyle that most people have, yet what is the alternative?

Awesome post. As someone just starting their career, I have always wondered how it seems so many posts casually mention that they started their own business. I would love to do that one day, but I would just sit down at my computer and say "ok, now what"? How does everyone start?

I disagree strongly with this mentality. You are only in your 20's once. You should not be slaving away so you can have a shit ton of money for when your retired and getting old. What are you really going to do with all of that money at 70 years old? Save, but you don't need to just waste away your youth working so you can be rich when your old...
/r/askTRP11/01/19 01:03 AM

It’s not one or the other... I’m past 25 and I spend a good amount of money on hobbies and experiences. That doesn’t mean I don’t save a bit. You don’t need to make it impact your life so you can have a lavish retirement. save but don’t have to go overboard
/r/TheRedPill20/12/18 07:44 PM

I don’t get the mentality of dumping everything into saving for retirement, especially when it means you are so frugal that you can’t do your hobbies or go out with friends and travel when you feel like it. I would much rather live it up and enjoy my money while I’m young then when I’m old. Just my opinion.

Some people get tattoos for sentimental purposes and the artistic side of it for themselves. I think there is a difference between seeking validation tattoos and getting a tattoo because you want it for yourself.

I know I should be greatful for landing a good paying 9-5 but like you said, I’m just completely unfulfilled. And feeling that way 5/7 days a week takes a toll on my mental health for sure. I will certainly take your advice and search for a subject more fulfilling on the side. Thanks for the advice

I never really had too much interest in any field worth getting a degree in. I chose comp sci because of the job outlook and pay, not because I really enjoyed it. That’s most likely my issue here, but I don’t know what else I would of done anyway. thanks for the reply

Yeah I’m aware. I guess I just chose the wrong field or company. Thanks for the reply
