My internal dialogue was very mean and harsh, the same critical and negative thoughts would repeat themselves day after day after day.. I let those thoughts come and go as they please.. I had zero control over my mind. I realized one day that I would never be friends with anyone who spoke to me the way I spoke to myself. I asked my inner self for forgiveness for the way I have been treating her all these years. She didn't deserve any of that. Even though I have made huge mistakes in my life, I w…

What's on the other side, in your opinion?

It's very likely that at some point, playing games will get exhausting, and you will crave a more profound, authentic connection, the kind of connection that makes you cry from joy. Wearing a mask is annoying, it has weight. Your soul wants to be weightless. The people in our lives are perfect mirrors. Understand this well, and you will understand the world. When you are ready to be 100% authentic, you will start attracting people who are also 100% authentic. Your ego wanted something from that …

Exactly this.

Maybe genuinely hearted people think it's selfish to have children at any age. Why bring more babies into this world instead of taking care of the ones that exist already?

True, but it does give you an idea about how eggs affect the human body. Anyway, check the links others have posted in this thread. Eggs are not as healthy as the industry would have you believe.

"Our findings suggest that regular consumption of egg yolk should be avoided by persons at risk of cardiovascular disease."

The brain can run just as well on glucose. Actually, glucose is the default mode, what the brain prefers. However, you can still induce ketosis on a plant based diet. Low-carb, high-fat plant based diets are a thing.

America's number 1 Olympic weightlifter is vegan, and with a quick search you can find many other extremely "imposing" vegan bodybuilders.

Yeah.. I feel this way even with my fiance sometimes. I think my life would improve significantly if I just learn to let go and stop taking myself so seriously.

I'm still unfunny and very inhibited when it comes to banter and making jokes. I can never come up with an interesting comeback. I'm wondering if this is something I can work on.

I have no issues with small talk or serious conversations, but when things are funny and silly that's when I find difficulty keeping up, I just feel really boring and serious most of the time, and I worry too much about being unfunny. Banter is an art, there's different kinds (agree and amplify, sarcasm, light jokes) and that can be developed. So there's hope! How?

It's very difficult to talk to him about this, he gets very defensive and protective over his relationships with his friends, it's pretty obvious he does not want anything to change about this.

Have you spoken to his friends (or have they said anything to you) about how maybe it's a bit odd that they're always together? No, this same issue happened with a third friend and his girlfriend, she mentioned it was odd and to this date she is known as the crazy girlfriend who is jealous of her boyfriend's best friend. They think it's totally normal and that's what true friendships are like. I once hinted at it and my boyfriend told me it I would understand if I had real friends.

Yes drinking is always involved. I like to explore... and would love someone to explore with! Exactly this. I always wanted someone to explore the world with. He wants someone to drink with him and his friends.

As long as it's not done begrudgingly, you need to learn to accept such gifts of love. Good point. Thank you.

He says that I am the most important person to him, he loves seeing me and he's always asking me to join him every time, but seeing me alone is not a priority.

Yes, to the point where we never have a single meal just us. It's a bit extreme especially for me being an introvert and not being able to be fully myself except around him.

I am leaning towards agreeing that it's not a deal breaker. It's just going to be a continuous test for my ability to negotiate what I want. I'm just worried I will forever have to worry whether he's having a good time when we're alone or not. very difficult to find a different man to marry Maybe I'm lucky when it comes to my culture, social circles and genes, but this isn't a problem yet and seems won't be for a good few years.

You sound exactly like my fiancee. She wanted to spend time with me ALL the time! But I don't want to spend time with him ALL the time. Only sometimes, one day a month would be nice, one meal per week without his bestfriend there.

I live with my parents, I enjoy the occasional party and don't mind going out with people once a week or twice if there's something exciting. I much prefer sports activities or exploring new things, I have more hobbies than what I have time for. My ideal would be to see him alone more often than seeing him with his friends. We can't live together before marriage because of our families. He never lived with my within my lifestyle.

If he told you he doesn't value one on one time with you, you have your answer. He said he likes it but it's not a priority. All his actions back this up as well. He treats me really well though whenever we are together (surrounded by groups of people of course), he gives me attention and keeps looking for me, but never suggests doing things on our own and whenever we do things alone after I suggest them, he is quick to go rejoin the group.

Do you think he's spending a lot of time with his friends because it keeps things new and not stuck in a comfort zone? Or he's taking you to join his friends' travels because he thinks that will be a better time to have more people? I think he just wants me to be an addition to his already existing life style, he doesn't want to change anything about it. I had a LTR that we did literally everything together. I've had that too and don't want it again. I don't need him around ALL the time, I just …

Is there a particular friend of his that is always around? Yes, where I live, he has a friend who is always there, we do everything with him apart from sex (unless he's busy). Is this normal?

Your new body is still sexy even if you don't believe it is, otherwise your husband would not want to sex you up regularly. Stop comparing your new body to the old one, it's pointless. Also, you still have the sensations of orgasming so not only is your body sexy, it is also sexually functional. That's awesome! One day in the distant future, when your body actually stops being sexy and sexually functional, you will regret all the time and opportunities you wasted worrying about harmless imperfec…

Yes, the no-makeup makeup seems to be the best solution for most women.

So true, you can learn a lot about yourself by observing your own actions, reactions and emotions, it makes it harder to lie to yourself with words and thoughts.

Don't listen to what men say, pay attention to what they do. They say they hate makeup, but drool over women wearing makeup. One of the first things my husband told me was that he hates makeup, and yet he only ever compliments my face when I have some on. That said, I am yet to meet a man to likes too much makeup.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
