And how is this our problem that THEY approach us? We ain't lying periodt. Until we see good men, actual HVM, we continue shutting it down. I don't see how we're lying 🤷🏾‍♀️

Tell me your troubles, your traumas, the deep shit" or any sort of wanting deep talks that revolve mostly around anything considered bad or downright traumatic

Someone clearly struck a nerve. Sorry babe, if you feel like you got "picked" instead of being the one doing the choosing, he's already got you down lock and wrapped around his finger. I've yet to meet anyone on here with a superiority complex. She's hella projecting with that one lmao

Where's his six pack abs? How come he might have some flab? What did he eat today? How dare he be too skinny, chubby or not totally ripped. I wonder what would happen if she started asking him about his workout regiment, telling him to up it, etc.

For a time when my ex and I were separated (before I went back for four more years of bullshit to "work it out") I was 24 and the guy courting me was 39. Everyone in my life, including my mother, said that it was "the perfect age gap" since I was close to 25 and my now ex and I are the same age. The only one who said anything about him being too old was my HV father who I didn't grow up with lmao
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/09/20 03:17 AM

Ah, yes. The old "don't bring up the past/don't dredge up the past" statement that they always say when you confront them about problematic things they've done. they sure love to evade it but then they'll never let you hear the end of something if you did something they perceive is wrong. And even if you DID fuck up and own it, you never hear the end of it.

That's me at this point. Too much time in a marriage, married way too young. Its amazing what we can do despite the odds and bounce back, in a way where we level up so much that we don't even sweat anyone from our pasts who held us back.

That's pretty cool! I'm going off the vape myself as I feel a bit embarrassed using it. Was never a real cigarette smoker but found the nicotine helped a lot in times of stress. The double whammy he's dealing with is a lot but I'm so happy to see someone striving to be better for their SO instead of not trying at all!

Absolutely. You never really stop vetting because anyone can flip. Redpill says wives are more expensive than sex workers but wives save them more money and get less than breadcrumbs, as well as all the risks you listed.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/09/20 05:13 PM
35

Yeah but uh...prostitutes actually get the money. So they expect us to go halfers while risking ourselves WITHOUT taking any payment home? Most sex workers cost a fuck of a lot more than a nice dinner and a gift. Lazy twats.

Yes. My ex did this constantly. He said I needed more hobbies because I "stayed home all day" and "overthink too much" even though I would play the piano, work out, tend to our kid, worked two side hustles and tried out journaling for a while. They really can't stand a woman catching on to their bullshit.

Damn this gave me flashbacks of 16 when I thought that hot 21yo guy who'd pursued me for a year was soo cool, playing Zimmer's Hole, getting us a pizza and driving HIS MOM'S car around. Each of his friends thought the age gap was weird though, so I'm glad he at least had friends calling him out on that. Embarrassing 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

No no it's okay I completely understand. It's weird to talk about because he'd always leave out major details and so all I got from him was he volunteered, incubated and he didn't want to eat or smell garlic for a week. I actually made roast chicken with garlic mashed potatoes the first day he did that and he put it down and ate something else lol. Shark eyes! I'm gonna google that thank you for telling me a new reference. ❤
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/08/20 02:13 PM
16

Yeah. He was interested in medical field which is fine, and I encouraged it; he volunteered to work in the morgue for a few days. It didn't faze him. But he would gag, walk away, dry heave at our child's soiled diaper. There were other things too, like just a lack of emotion and generally like "dead eyes" if that makes sense. His mother has it too and they both exhibit a lot of narc traits (obvs can't diagnose I'm not a psych).

They may use stats for that but I mean...guys like the one in the video most often think everyone else is problematic and they're the ones who know what's good for people. So of course that being said, the stats are low because people like that don't get checked unless its court ordered and they've already ruined a lot of lives by the time that happens. Imagine if we assessed the entire population to see what the real stats would be. Sure its easy to lie to a psych and front a bit, but the stats…

He exhibits the exact same things as my ex husband and its haunting. These people are dangerous. I knew years ago that something was wrong with him for a long time but it got really weird when he had zero issues incubating dead bodies in an military morgue (voluntarily and NOT part of his job description) but couldn't handle changing our child's diaper. What's even more disturbing is how many of them exist and you reflect on how many men you've come across just like this guy.

Omg I know!! Even with all the bells and whistles, the Tricare, the bonuses and the budget plan I had, he still went above and over it. With some better money management it could have been cozy. But you're right, A lot of them aren't used to making 35,000 right out of the gate or even up to 50,000 within two years so they go a little bit overboard with it. Absolutely. I grew up in poverty myself so I've always been very good with penny pinching and making sure that I stretch my money as far as I can. While he was out spending all the money that we had available, I was making a savings account, clipping coupons and going on WIC. A lot of the military folks I can't save for some reason. Checks out. I had to start over just before 28. I was married at 19 and sold the false bill of goods. He had the opportunity to go officer and chose to remain enlisted and be a big fish in a small pond. I ended up doing two side hustles, wanting to go to school (which he would always be enraged about when I brought it up), spend all the money I was making and gamed full time in his spare time while I did all the child work, cleaning, cooking, etc. Now I'm thriving and he's big mad about it but h…

I spent the last hour reading the synopsis. I boycott Netflix because at this point you can't trust what they do and how they publish content. It's been questionable for at least the last two years (that I know of).

The same way they hit 25 and say "I'm so close to 30" and they're worried about having done nothing with themselves due to their video game, porn and junk food addiction. It's all projection.

I've done all of these things and it seriously shifts your mindset. More HV people see you boldly doing things by yourself and they're more likely to respect someone who's comfortable with their solitude. I like dining by myself. I usually bring a journal or a book when I do. People don't judge someone by themselves nearly as often as we think they do. ❤️

She's gotta listen to her gut. Clearly she's getting those thoughts because 5 years is a loooong time before a ring gets there. So what, 7 years together and she may get a ring if she's stuck around and he hasn't found what he perceives as "better"? His reaction is telling. If he was worried that she'd get snatched away, he'd put a ring on it much sooner than 5 years.

One of the best comebacks in the comments where a guy says "where's the proof women are more screwed post divorce?": "https://amp.theatlantic.com/amp/article/480333/ "Despite the common perception that women make out better than men in divorce proceedings, women who worked before, during, or after their marriages see a 20 percent decline in income when their marriages end, according to Stephen Jenkins, a professor at the London School of Economics. His research found that men, meanwhile, tend to…

My ex was like this except we were married. He had ample opportunities at 26 to either go officer, PA school or other things. He is 33 and still consistently doesn't know what he wants and leans on being an enlisted military member, hating his position and with a pre-med bio degree that is gathering dust. The flip flop drove me crazy and I couldn't handle it anymore. I am of the mind to consider your own options because this seems like a consistent pattern.

They can say she lied but I see it as self preservation. The fact that there's people saying, straight up, that women still do it for the obvious inequality shows that more and more people are becoming aware about why we do it in the first place.

There's nothing smart, funny or any rebuttal I can say to this. Anytime I go on RPW I find myself being physically nauseated because it's so damn triggering. I can only hope these women find it in themselves to gain self love and self respect.

I've met anti-natalist men who still try and push "the wall" crap and I'd always challenge them with "okay if you're so anti-natalist and you got a vasectomy, how come HER fertility matters?" You always see them venting about their LVM boyfriends, who they have two or more kids with, as well as the ones who go "my husband cheated with his coworker, and I kept forgiving him. Now we have four kids together because I thought he would get better after the second, third or fourth kid would be born. Now he left me". 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I understand where you're coming from. For starters, 27 is far from old. You have your entire life ahead of you. There are tons of low and negative value men of all ages so you're constantly wading through trash. While I don't know you personally, it sounds like you need a mindset shift still. It's a long process and I'm still going through it myself and I'm older than you. I hope that you blocked and deleted him after that message. Not only is he low value, but he's illiterate.

There are many beautiful older women, but even so men will often choose a less attractive woman if she is younger. Fucking this!! I've seen many men who would take a woman half his age, who isn't as attractive as a woman who is age appropriate (and interested in him) but is more attractive because "sHeS tOo OlD foR mE".

HAH Okay so let's look back on what's happened in the last 10 years? Like an influx of school shootings, people running over civilians, these ridiculous manifestos, etc. These were all long before FDS was established. We don't see men as money bags. Most will never be of that status. Perhaps if they stopped using us as stepping stones, bang maids and usually the primary providers, FDS wouldn't have been incepted in the first place.

You're too right. I took about 2.5 years off and re-entered dating. I see it so differently and I wish I knew these things earlier but it's so refreshing to see younger women waking up.

I absolutely agree with what you're saying. Every die hard, ultra serious minimalist usually has a lot more money because it's not going to frivolous things. So most of the time they're traveling, gaining new experiences, doing things that make them live a lot more of a high-end lifestyle because they're not investing in excess consumption.

When I had very low self esteem I constantly dated under (Post-Divorce) because I was afraid they'd be too successful and leave. Even when I became very well off for myself, put together, etc. I took a few years off and I now see why this is so infuriating. Never make yourself smaller because his feefees are hurt. It's not up to us to build him up ever, especially at that age. If he doesn't have his shit remotely together at 35+ he never will.

I do the bad thing of breadcrumbing then reduce lol. It's super early on. I've cut out one, will be cutting another out shortly. It's tiring and you see REAL fast who's assertive and who's willing to put time in. I also have a lot of supportive family who helps watch my child while I'm at work so it makes life much easier. Even video calls I make sure she's watched as that's a separate world entirely.

Met them through mutual friends NOT OLD. I see one once a week and the other twice a week. The other two are face time since I've met through friends but never met irl so I don't waste as much time. I have designated down days. ONLY on those days because I'm busy with work and certain times for hobbies and self care. I finally re-entered the dating world very lightly after a 2 year (and change) date free period to recover. The 3+ roster rule works ladies. I've got four that have all approached me. A minimum of 3 keeps your options floating and you won't get too attached. I had to ghost one since he'd pop up every few days so that was an immediate write off. Mix of both. Some people really do shield it but others show signs, and girls are bombarded with awful programming from the get-go to think that their options are limited and once they're 30 it's a death sentence. Oftentimes, women will get married really young out of fear because of this. Many will ignore the signs even when they know better because they don't think they can do better.

I'm not sure either. Every situation I've been around, considering I'm a nurse, it's always been taken seriously. In many situations, women's mental health is looked at as "shrew", "frantic", "dramatic" and "she's making it up". I've worked with many women who were pregnant and in very tough situations that perpetuated their mental health, and it's almost always chalked up to "well she's hormonal so it's nbd". The more frequent it is, the more time you'll spend stroking his ego and providing emotional labor that he himself should work on. Edit: how long have you known him? A timeline is usually easier to work with.

Love that you didn't go further with it, but be wary. It's good that he didn't press for details but he might in the future. Any hint of a traumatic past can be leverage. Keep vetting and see how it goes -- this could be his way of trying to get more from you by appearing compassionate.

I remember seeing this a week ago and some spam user messaged me saying it was a crack at single moms? Still grossly inaccurate negging if that is the case

Ecch, pass. You were far too nice to him. He could've just said "you look great" or "you seem like a great conversationalist". That comment was so unnecessary.

Hello beautiful, you are amazing too! I absolutely agree. I went through that phase of pickmedom in high school. Around 19 I started feeling idk, weird about it? That's the best way to put it. From there I distanced myself because it started getting hard to watch other girls and women put themselves down and continue to force themselves in the "cool girl" box. I didn't officially "leave" that kind of scene behind til about 22 when I got really busy with everything else but I'm glad I did. A lot …

Ugh yes! Being latina in that "scene" was weird. I had a few friends who are WOC as well and they handled it the same way. It was either metal is a "white people" thing or we were scoped out solely as something to conquer or say they've slept with (one of my friends is SE Asian and tons of guys would bother her during shows because they'd "never been with an Asian girl before").

My own father always says, "when you're a man it slows down in your 30s, but you really notice a drop in your 40s and 50s. Women that age have a sex drive that can match an 18 year old boy's".

So true though. When he said "we don't actually care/like women as people even if they ARE interesting" was like "whoop there it is". A wake up call.

Inaccurate af considering how many men I've come across OVER 35 who want to settle down with just about any woman. This includes the high earners that TRP and MGTOW talk about. Them too. They're desperate to get settled down and it's projection on a lot of us. If it isn't that, they'll inevitably panic when they're 40+ if they haven't settled down. There's a lot of that too; I have enough friends who are in that age range that tell me how stalkerish they start getting when they don't get a respo…

What gets me is that every girl/woman to ever exist can and does like things all across the board of "feminine" and "masculine". During the day I dressed to the nines as a paralegal, loving my heels and pencil skirts, then the same night going to a doom metal show in a band shirt, buckled Demonia boots and whatever felt right. It is funny when dudes would act like girls who like metal "aren't like other girls" because literally all of us liked other things ranging from makeup to hiking, powerlif…

On one hand I feel hopeful, but on another I understand why you feel the way you do. It's never too late to stumble upon a gem. HVM are of all ages. My mother found hers in her late 40s after she thought it wasn't possible. A close friend of mine just found hers (also by chance) a few weeks after she hit 41. My cousin is 22 and found a seemingly HVM who's 23. It's hard not to be cynical about it though.

Yes! It gave me that extra push to remember that my abusive ex of 8 years made that conscious decision to be that way and I wasn't "crazy". My fear turned into anger and empowerment so I became productive. Every girl from 12 until adulthood should read this book once a year and remember it like a book report. Saves lives and time.

I can only speak from consideration not experience; I heavily considered sex work when I was a lot younger and very desperate (I live in a food desert and it's rural af so you have like 70 people fighting for a cashier job at Piggly Wigglys). What stopped me was a few things. The amount of cons/what could go wrong and the fact that no matter how much I would almost sign up or put myself out there, I'd get crippling fear that I couldn't explain. I managed to find a job outside of my town and was …
