I can agree with you in some sense based of that I think it's related to culture. I live in Sweden and most things that I read here on reddit just don't really happen, also heard from guys that moved from the States to Sweden decribe the diffrences in the dating "world" and how it suprised them. However, roughly 40% of the population is singel households, so it's not as if Swedes are good at forming longterm relationships. My biggest issue in this day and age is that we seem to have forgotten th…

In conclusion, it's an ongoing battle between the reptile brain and the frontal lope. We think that we can control biology because of our cognitive functions, and tend to forget what lies underneath. But because of the cognitive functions, we can also decide how to deal with the life around us. If it is rigged or only provides shit, we can leave. It's more than six years now since I first came across MGTOW, and I remember how the first reaction was being irritated, but after a few videos in, I s…

From my understanding of the red pill, it's about focusing on yourself instead of seeking validation from women. Focus on self improvement, your work and your interests. But, I'm a woman so take this with a grain of salt.

I've mostly heard this from men though, as in that they wouldn't want to date me as intercourse was put on a hold. My libido has always been an "issue" in all of my relationships, combined with my trauma.

So my boyfriend's n count is 10 (me included), where 2 was within a relationship and the other 7 were one night stands (I'm the third relationship). What bothers me about it is the problems that have been in the bedroom since the very start, such as the statement "the female orgasm is a myth" and moving quickly (after a couple of months) into a dead bedroom situation. I was stupied enough to think that a higher number meant a higher libido, even though I really hate it when people overall view m…

There are so many thoughts running around but in the end I don't think that hookup culture is a good thing, especially considering that we tend to not actually talk about sex with all what it entails. What I mean is that the focus tends to be centered around specific areas but rarely the whole picture. It is problematic mainly as it has become the mainstream thing which means that anyone that choose another path is viewed as weird or mentally ill; a man that doesn't want to have sex has some und…

Everything has an explaination, some with logic and others not as much. I hear this in podcasts from time to time but never the full argument as to why it would be like this. The examples don't fit and it seems like it would be impossible to be sexual but picky. That is where my ego interferes, I hear an idea and I try it around me: viewing culture, see people's behaviour, listening to what is being said. The idea that women don't like sex doesn't fit in all aspects. Then there is the idea that …

I have heard of this as well, even wrote a paper on it, but that is where actions comes in, where I see a difference. I can understand the risk of certain behaviours and how that could be a red flag. However, I don't see that in a long term relationship as it is a different situation. Guess the core that bothers me is that the libido itself is a flag and not one's actions.

Good point, guess I am just caught up in the overall discussion about sexuality and hook-up culture. I like to understand people's reasoning and when I don't, it gets stuck in my mind.

I think that is accurate and can have something to do with the fact that not many children are born to begin with, which is one argument that is used for having a high immigration rate as in that we need more people to care for the elders.

Keep thinking that this may be a culture thing or at least that it depends on where you look in the world, especially when you argue about the majority. If you mean the majority of the world then maybe that is accurate as I have not looked into that, but in example Sweden (where I live) the majority live alone and are single. They may date and have sex but it does not go any further as in relationships, moving in together, having children, marriage and so on. There are even areas in Sweden where…

One thing that I have noticed is that when I try to translate genital mutilation from my language to English, using google translate, it does not show up. What I mean is that for it even show up as genital mutilation, I need to write female. If I write male, or no sex specifics at all, all that may come up is genitals. My conclusion is that it is just another proof how little boys and men means to the society and the world. Always pisses me off.

Guess I'm busy living a life then. As soon as you make an argument you are expressing free will. Or who is telling you to say that it doesn't exist? What is it in your life that makes you believe that in the end, you have no say at all in what happens to you or people around you?
/r/MensRights26/04/19 06:14 PM

Not only mainstream, big thinkers as well. Remember that not all philosophers agree with one another.
/r/MensRights26/04/19 06:09 PM

Scientifically, we can't even prove that reality exists, which is interesting. This is how I view it. We live in a cage because of biology, rules and norms to name something. The more knowledge we have about the cage, more free we tend to be. Knowledge is power. You know your own behaviour but you stay passive towards it. You are still free to break it, but that takes effort. So because of that, you make another choice, to aviod. Simple
/r/MensRights26/04/19 04:35 PM
2

Some thinkers mean we do have one, others mean we don't. Guess it all comes down to which arguments seems most solid, as it tend to be difficult to prove in both ways. Because we can go against our own biology, rules, society, norms... I say that we do have one. Then what we end up doing with is, that is another dicussion. However, I do not think that we are able to view the world objectively.

Not in a philosophical context... Think the words were more like "And I'm sorry all libertarians, there is no free will" and then moving on to talk about the school's history.

I am seriously thinking about it, but then again he might just think that all men on here are the ones being brainwashed. It is so interesting how simple facts seems to be ignored now. Just easy, simple facts. Sweden seems to be a lost cause. Seriously thinking about moving to Denmark, at least they are not as crazy with this political correctness and things. Also, wouldn't be that far of a move and their economy is way better.

I've always been bullied and such, guess it comes with the benefit that I have no problem standing up for what I believe in. Not acting stupied and doing things that will bring a risk of getting kicked out of school, but I keep bugging my teachers and classmates with deep questions. Mini holidays sounds tempting for sure, especially if it meant meeting like-minded people. Sadly, my boyfriend would not approve of that. Thank you for that advice anyway :)

Yeah I know you are right in that it has to come from within. Just wondering if there is a way to poke that inside, I guess. It just pisses me off how much the world is treating men like garbage now a days. And that young men tend to actually believe them! Thank you for your comment :)

There are two things that I keep thinking here, one is about trust issues and the other is selfworth. The only advice I return to is to be valuebased. What values does your partner have, how does their past reflect on the present? If that is all green then breathe out. And the selfworth thing only comes from the idea "it is only your time for the moment". You need to believe that you can be more towards a partner that just "killing time until the next one". Not sure how to do this but ask yourse…

So this advice may or may not help, as I am a woman and we play on different fields. However, with some contexts, where I live I tend to not act like people around me. First off, know thyself is an awesome quote. I think this is the most important thing to know before trying to build relationships of any kind. Because then you know what you want out of life, you know your values, your interests and so on. That makes it easier to know what sort of people you want in your life. Example from my lif…

If staying with her will help you grow and improve yourself than sure, do that. However, if it will hold you back than you need to move on. Some times, leaving will put you in a place where you will be forced to do something about your situation. You will have no choice but to work on yourself. Think about that. Not so much about pro and con, but will changing yourself, and sticking to the changes, be possible if you have this relationship? There is this old saying that "you can never really cha…

Some couples do the "it's okay to flirt just come home to the right bed" thing. If you're okay with her doing the same thing than the conversation about it shouldn't that difficult. Explain what it does to you, how it makes you feel but also that if she's not okay with it you won't push the issue.

Is it not harmful to generalize people based off of their sex? Like women tend to do towards men? Generalizations is based on what is mostly common, like that people from Asia tend to be short. There are exceptions but not that many. One main problem is that there are different rules/norms towards the sexes. Men can't act in certain ways and women get away with more, so called, shitty behaviour. Furthermore not only does the norms control men in a harsher way, it goes in to the laws as well. Exa…

They don't get it because of indoctrination, especially in the school system as schools are there to serve the society. So the values and needs that are in a society will dictate what comes out. Thankfully we have the internet and alternative information channels, so one can always start questioning what was once learned.

This got some serious problems to it. remove men from the community and place them in their own specific sections of society Who will pay for this? Will women just pop in and out? No real conection between the sexes? How about men that are gay? What about the statistics showing male aggressiveness increases when no women are around? The fact that we can't change biology. In war times, 80% of the babies that are born, are boys. That is a biological reaction that we need more men, because they are…

One reason as to why women don't fuck around is because emotions. There will be a bonding process that will complicate things, like you're horny but the cost of sleeping with someone random is high. Now some say that the bonding experience will decrease with the amount of partners (some say 12 other say 20) and todays culture enables a behavior that will lead to women having more sex/partners. However, with more partners and therefore less bonding, it will be difficult to have a good, stable rel…
