I agree to an extent. I don’t understand how texting for “logistics only” will benefit you. On the other hand, texting too often in between meet ups will have the negative consequence of the conversation dying out or you fucking something up. If I’ve established decent frame with a girl then I have no problem making small talk throughout the week. But I usually have more important shit to do so I’ll reply when I have time and haven’t had any problems so far.

Solid field report. In my experience if you’ve fucked one girl in a group of friends it makes it easier to fuck the rest of them. The issue with that is that I currently live with my parents (24 y/o) so their spot is where we usually fuck. Also I don't drink and drive so I usually catch a ride back from one of them. Yes, social proof is immensely helpful in closing. I've f-closed 4 friends from the most recent group of girls I've been introduced to. They all knew about it as well which seems to make it easier. My advice to you is to focus on forming social networks instead of doing so many cold approaches. Sure, they help you get over approach anxiety and all that but they're 10 times harder to see any tangible results. I've brought my n-count up from 4 to 13 in the past 7 months. Maybe one or two have been cold approaches but the rest were from meeting groups of people through my own friends. Work on making friends with high SMV males who will open up opportunities for you to meet females.

There are always exceptions to the rule. I was a lover of video games as well up until I started pulling girls at a consistent rate. To be honest, I still enjoy them I just don't have the time to play them anymore now that I have an active social life. I still hop on once in a while in my spare time. Most girls in my experience don't care as long as you're not a sweaty neck beard who plays for hours a day every day.
