Here's what you should have done earlier. Book all the good table in restaurants around you and use different names each time. Then sell the bookings on craigslist.

Yeah, who the fuck upvotes OP because a girl wrote him "I'll see what I can do about this Friday"? This doesn't sound promising at all.

I usually set a date in the evening during the week in a nice bar and then I took her home if she wanted to. Or, if she's up to it, make a date at your home, but that's not for every girl, especially not on a first date. I usually didn't make any dates on the weekend because I wanted to use the weekend to go out. And during the week they usually have to work the next day so they won't stay too long.

You shouldn't. Women often put a lot of effort in getting their hair right and they don't want to have it ruined by a guy at a party.

It seems seddit is full of white knight armchair sedditors since a while. They think women are like children and can't make their own decisions. Or, at least, aren't responsible for the decisions they make.

I also suffered from a bad depression for about two years. But I also drank a lot almost every day. What worked for me was cutting down my drinking to a normal level, mostly only on weekends. I also take daily B-Vitamins, Omega-3, green tee and St John's Wort extract. Maybe those work just as a placebo, but I feel good since months now.

"General" compliments like "you're cute", "you're beautiful", etc, are awful in general and girls have heard it number of times. Try to spot something she put a lot of effort in or she seems to be proud of and compliment that. E.g. "I like your hair style, how long does it take to get it that way?" But I think you should wait with compliments until you had some general small talk.

I already made my own thread yesterday, but I think it's also a good question for this thread: What are some good "canned" openers to start a conversation and keep it going? I mean, after you already said hi and know her name.

Something similar happened to me once. I asked a girl if she wants to come home with me. She said no, she had to go with her friends. I wanted to walk away and she said: "Where are you going? Don't you want to come home with us?" So maybe you could have tried saying something like "Okay, I come with you!"

This has nothing to do with feminism. What a stupid argument. If she has one night stands the guy usually should provide condoms (I at least try to and they are cheap anyway) and if she is in a relationship and takes the pill they should discuss this like adults and maybe split the bill if it's too pricey for her.

Swiss here. Prostitution and brothels are legal and regulated. Most women work for themselves, pick their own clients and love their job. Brothels often just offer a room which a prostitute can rent. Sure, human trafficking can happen but how you wrote, those people can get help. Also, because brothels are taxed and monitored like any other business the chances are really low. Prostitution is legal or at least tolerated in most European countries. Basically it gives women the right to do whatever the fuck they want with their body. Exploitation can happen in every other job too, especially when it's not regulated.

I went through this years ago. What I learned: Your body language expresses how you feel, but it also works the other way around. By acting self-confident and happy, you will finally become self-confident and happy. Sure, you have to fake it first, but it will become natural after a while.

Who downvoted you? You're right. I think most of them are trolls, and some few have a serious mentally illness and take it serious. Just look at the IRC logs about a meet-up. They were scared that MR shows up and kills them, which is a clear sing of paranoia to me. But yeah, the rest are trolls. I used to have another account which I used only to troll there and submit stuff. And I still often submit my own comments to get some action.

Well, as I see is, all the crazy people locked themselves in in those habitat, which we see as all the SRS subreddits. This is interesting and entertaining, but the problem is, often they invade subreddits outside from SRS and disturb normal people.

Well, this is also more an American thing. E.g. in German television you can see uncensored tits on public TV at afternoon all the time and no one cares (at least, this used to be the case 3 years ago, I don't have a TV anymore). We have this problem in the German language. It is even worse, because most descriptions (e.g. jobs) have a male and a female version. Feminists achieved that in most situations (e.g. job ads) both version are addressed separably. It's just ridiculous. What they don't get is that there's a difference between the grammatical and the biological gender. That's why it's called "Das Mädchen" ("It", girl) and not "sie" ("she"). Or e.g. in TV show "Liebe Zuschauer und Zuschauerinnen", which could be tr…

Most people like to talk, especially about themselves. I don't, but the trick is to let the people talk. Just ask open questions and then go from there. In their memory, they had a good talk with you when actually you didn't talk a lot at all. Open questions are great to keep a a discussion about a subject going. E.g. Jobs: Wrong question: Do you like your job? Good questions: Why did you decide to become a X? How do you like your co-workers? When did you start there? How long do you think you w…

I don't really get it. I only know Jews and Muslims who do that to their children. If you don't belong to one of those groups, why would you even consider it? Is that an American thing? Normally, you don't circumcise someone. When he's old enough, he can let it do by himself if he wants.

How others said, a dinner is good thing when you're in relationship. If you just met a girl, a bar in the evening is a good place, especially a cocktail bar (bitches love cocktails). The alcohol helps both of you to become relaxed. Also, I've never met a girl who expected me to pay all the bills. They even insisted to pay for themselves or pay the next round. No, it works 100% of the time. It's a very common routine and used in a lot of variations by mental magicians. But you can't do this trick more than once, otherwise the audience can easily find out how it works. That's not a big problem on a stage performance, because you always only do a trick once. But if you do this with a girl when you're out and she has a friend and wants you do this with her too you may have a problem.
/r/seduction08/06/11 03:44 PM
1

I know how to do this. The problem is, it works only once. If a friend is watching, you can't do it with her too afterwards because the whole routine changes depending on the person's choices. And they would find out how it works when they see it more than once.

No, it doesn't sound familiar at all. But TIL that being physical aggressive towards a woman isn't normal. But in the USA, it is. Actually I always thought there is no big differences betweens Americans and Europeans and the most things are just stereotypes. But if it's true and many man really tend to be physically aggressive I don't know what to say. I'm sorry. I tried different styles for few years. I think it also depends on you personality and the club. But for the last few years I've always worn the same: Jeans and a black shirt (like this but I wear darker jeans and put the shirt inside the pants). That fits best for me I think. When I was younger and went to a gym I often wore a tank top if it was allowed in the club.

I usually take girls to a popular cocktail bar, have some drinks and profit. But I guess you live in the USA so because of your age that's not an option. :-/ You could also just have a walk with her if weather's good.

I laughed way more than I should have.

I do. Since few years I go out alone every weekend, occasionally with a friend. First it was strange and I felt like everybody was looking at me. But people don't care nor notice if you're alone. I really like it now. I can do whatever I want and don't have to make compromises.

Except you're a rapist. Men who aren't paedophiles are rapists.

But women could also help to create a better place.

I had often sex with drunk girls and no one ever regretted it. They were absolutely okay with it the next morning, no shame or something like that, because at this time they wanted it too. That has nothing to do with rape. Once, a girl came home with me from a club, we made out and she took her clothes off, but then she didn't want to have sex. Of course I was disappointed, but I was okay with that. So nothing happened and we slept together without having sex. If I forced her to have sex with me…

When I have a date: I give usually a soft kiss on her cheek first . When she seems to like it, I go on. When I'm dancing with a girl in a club: I just try to kiss her. When she avoids it, I'll try again later.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
