Well said, that's exactly what I meant. You are who you believe you are. Don't let anything or anyone hold you back from that. Having to defend myself to others for changing something about myself used to be something I feared. These days I just let people know that I'm always looking to improve and that whatever change they notice about me is an effect of that. As a result of that I now have my own set of rules that I try to live by and I'm not afraid of people finding flaws in it. Because now …

Please do. I'd love to read your perspective on both how a guy would go about getting into a FWB relationship (with you) and also how you go about setting up a FWB relationship with other guy(s).

Fair enough. I'll refrain from posting about Seddit, outside of Seddit.

Indeed. I wonder what kinda person I would've been if I had instead been turned off from this subreddit for just that reason. If it convinces just one person to give it a chance, i'd consider that a great victory :)

I got the impression that if you mention /r/seduction anywhere outside of this subreddit that is just about exactly what people seem to believe. The original idea was to post this somewhere outside of /r/seduction, but I thought I'd have it scrutinized here first.

That is the reason I posted this. I was hoping to clear up some of the confusion. So that someone who isn't as well informed on the topics and general idea behind this subreddit might find himself, well, better informed. Secondary, this is my interpretation and I was curious to see if it was actually correct.

Call me crazy, but you've basically rewritten my post in different words. We have the exact same opinion. You did realise that the first line of each term is ment to be the negative, wrong, incorrect interpretation right? Maybe there's a better way of wording/displaying that, but that's what I ment. edit: clarification (note: English is not my first language)

Would showing disinterest be an alternative way of describing it? That would in a way make it the male version of playing hard to get, no? In that case I guess the thing to take away from that is the same in the end. Be genuine and don't give in to the urge to impress a girl by saying what you think she wants to hear. Rather be confident in who you are and let her know you're not interested in her if she's going to keep acting like that and actually walk away if she does. (I'm just trying to fig…

I was not aware meta posts were not allowed. I do apologice and will take your advice on how to re-post it in a better more fitting way. PS: Great work on the modding btw, that was one hell of a quick response :)

Isn't that the point of this subreddit? To share knowledge for the sake of others? I'm not saying convolute them, but maybe there are other ways? The subreddit doesn't really phase me personally. But then again I am a programmer by occupation and am used to abbreviations, acronyms and I suppose it comes with a certain way of objective thinking as well.

When you use these small details to set up a future date or just bring it up in a conversation later on, they are wildly impressed specifically because they themselves did not remember it. It's like magic tricks. If you know how it works, it's not really all that impressive anymore.

Just yesterday I was thinking I would really like to learn a bit more about cold reading (having heard and read a bit about it before). Being able to tell people what they already know is great fun for both parties ofcourse, but the reason it intrigues me most of all is because I feel it gives you this edge when trying to figure out what someone is like. Being able to ask the right questions and not only notice things like shoes, but being able to figure out what it says about someone aswell. Gr…
