| 1 | Gender inequality is a problem men created – now they have to help fix itOK, I have seen a lot of feminist actions that don't have anything to do with that. For example women's rights to vote. That has nothing to do with men doing work for women. The push for income inequality (I'm not saying it's legit or not I'm just bringing up the push for it), it has nothing to do with men doing stuff for women, it's just saying people shouldn't be paid based off of their gender. So men aren't doing extra for women if people aren't paid based on their gender. With the issue of g… | /r/MensRights | 01/10/15 11:07 PM |
| 1 | Gender inequality is a problem men created – now they have to help fix itThe idea of waves is simply separating based on main issues of the time, it doesn't propose anything new. Also I was asking about your definition of feminism not what wave. | /r/MensRights | 01/10/15 02:24 AM |
| 1 | Gender inequality is a problem men created – now they have to help fix itI'm asking for a definition, or you could be talking about the modern movement as seen on /r/feminism. Your comment didn't help further the discussion. | /r/MensRights | 30/09/15 11:28 PM |
| 1 | 'It doesn't create equality, it creates separation': Marion Cotillard says there is no place for feminism in the film industryYou are right, I'm just saying that pep[;e have different definitions for the word whether they are helpful or not. Eveerything you listed is correct. Original feminism is dead and it did suceed, now eople who believe in those concepts do have things which thy may fight for but they are just general equality isseus and the use of the word feminism to discuss those is simply non beneficial nad odd, but like many other words it isn't used for the actual parts inside the word as it's been a century… | /r/MensRights | 30/09/15 04:56 AM |
| 1 | Gender inequality is a problem men created – now they have to help fix itNO I'm simply referring to average people who refer to themselves as feminists and don't really do much or aren't that into the movement. I'm not referring to the average person who is an active feminist, that is a different category which is extremish in my opinion. | /r/MensRights | 30/09/15 04:46 AM |
| 1 | 'It doesn't create equality, it creates separation': Marion Cotillard says there is no place for feminism in the film industryAfter reading an article on that I just want to say these two movements might have some of the most ignorant, annoying, and overall stupid members in them. Also to answer your question they are far extreme, putting lives at risk is idiotic, stupid, poorly thought through, and more moronic than those 'black lives matter' (even though they weren't) protesters who interrupted Bernie Sanders. I don't really know why you brought this up they are the ones I was talking about who make MRA's hate all fe… | /r/MensRights | 30/09/15 02:24 AM |
| 1 | 'It doesn't create equality, it creates separation': Marion Cotillard says there is no place for feminism in the film industryNo it doesn't, many people want to do that, but I know many people who are profeminist movement who don't want to remove rights from others just have equal rights for all. This is a swiping generalization ignoring the vast number of people who don't care about men at all in terms of their goal, who only want to have equal rights and work for that. I think we can both agree they are honorable and many may identify with the feminist movement. This movement is too large for one to say that all in i… | /r/MensRights | 30/09/15 02:13 AM |
| 1 | Gender inequality is a problem men created – now they have to help fix itWhat do you mean by feminism? | /r/MensRights | 30/09/15 02:03 AM |
| 1 | MRM opposes the male-only draft, but seems to acknowledge that women are rarely, if ever, fit for combat. What is the solution? This is so simple. Everyone signs up for draft, the most fit people are taken. The most fit people regardless of gender get chosen. Everybody wins, equality, and emergency army if neccesary. | /r/MensRights | 29/09/15 01:13 AM |
| -14 | Gender inequality is a problem men created – now they have to help fix itFeminism relies heavily on the chivalrous notion that men are obligated to care about women and protect them. Only far far gone feminism does. Average feminism has nothing to do with men doing anything. | /r/MensRights | 29/09/15 01:01 AM |
| -22 | So apparently a married man doesn't have the right to decide against a vasectomy once in a relationship.....Why do you call them white knights it's so fucking stupid. They could just be men who disagree with you and are stating their point but nooooooo fucking white knight trying to impress women again. | /r/MensRights | 29/09/15 12:57 AM |
| -1 | 'It doesn't create equality, it creates separation': Marion Cotillard says there is no place for feminism in the film industryI wish people would stop arguing about different definitions of feminism. By the common definition used by the average person who doesn't really argue about this much feminism is the belief that gender should play no role in opportunity, and that only you as a person should. If one doesn't agree with this I'm gonna be honest I think that's fucked up. Anything that happens that is different between genders on average can be dealt with individually. I'm guessing Cotillard is referring to people in… | /r/MensRights | 29/09/15 12:54 AM |
