File first and get ready for a fake TRO from her to try to evict you from the house ans restrict you from your daughter.

Ain't that the truth

That's true. My own father told me to divorce my wife a year ago. He was shouting into the void. I wish I'd have listened.

This give me hope. Im stuck in the house. Fighting fake restraining order. We have barely even started on the actual divorce yet. Dark days for me.

Does the husband have a reddit account? We need to talk to him.

We had to go for my twins 1st birthday. As great as it was pushing a twin stroller around Disneyland in the summer heat with two pissed off infants was, I was confused about why we had to subject ourselves to that.

Every Saturday I'd mop the floors, scrub the bathrooms, and clean the kitchen while my wife worked. When she came home: "It's still dirty" or "you left the pots on the stove."

I'm gonna be seriously broke after all this, but at least I'll know my bank account won't have taken a hit from the purchase of essential oils and crystals that have "good vibrations".

Yup, looking forward to not having to try to please someone who has made themselves fundamentally impossible to please.

I see you are married to my wife too. We've gone to Disneyland every year for the last ten years. Sometimes twice a year. Far be it for me to suggest we go to Catalina for a few days. No we have to do Disneyland....again.

You know when you come from from work and your wife is mad for the last 8 years?

Looking forward to not having to play the "guess why I'm mad" game anymore.

Going through this now. I returned to my house after my wife told me to leave indefinitely for a "trial separation". I refused and stayed in my house. She was not happy. I was rewarded with a fake temporary restraining order request to kick me out of the house which the judge denied but I still have to go to court to fight. I'm not leaving without a court order to do so or a check in my hand for half the equity. I put my wife on radio silence. I stay in a different room. I spend a lot of time at…

Find a woman who is another high powered assassin like you. You'd have a Mr and Mrs Smith scenario

Get ready for an an incoming Temporary Restraining Order request from your wife to the court to evict you from the house and restrain you from the kids.

Told the kids her accusations against me. Kids come up to me repeating said accusations. She has her mom text them not to talk to me.

Seems correct. My wife presented no evidence. Only accusations.

I've already documented some parental alienation going on. The mediator didn't seem to care but I submitted it in writing anyway.

Already did. I have an attorney.

Staying strong and calm. I didn't really get an option about who would do the supervising. It's going to be one of my kids ongoing babysitters. I objected strongly that it should be someone without bias. I was shut down by the mediator.

My wife presented no documentation, she had her friends write scathing letters to the court detailing that I'm Satan incarnate. The judge struck them from the record.

A care provider who already knows my kids. I objected strongly to this on the grounds that they are already biased, but was shut down by the mediator.

7 weeks of supervised visits. Then we have another hearing. Also there's no CPS involvement and there never has been.

I should have clarified, its a win/win for a woman. No repercussions for outright lies, and she gets to tell all her friends and family how saintly she is.

I can't unless its "supervised".

They're an easy low risk high reward way for women to gain leverage in a custody fight. And they don't really need a bit of evidence to get on stuck to you.

She was less vicious then. Perhaps she would have become vicious anyway I don't know. She spent the last 6 months scheming with her divorced hen of a mother.

My marriage was over a year ago, but we chose to stay married "because it made sense" that is, I earned a paycheck and paid for the house/utilities. I was afraid of being alone and begged my wife not to leave. Well flash forward a year and a few months later, she leaves me, and initiates a vicious custody fight (which I am in the middle of). I could have avoided a ton of pain if I just manned up a filed on her a year ago.

Yeah she's been scheming for about 6 months.

I have a lawyer, and am documenting everything. My STBWX is doing a great job of parental alienation.

Will do, what messed with my head was if she was so scared of me she filed a order, why the shit did she come back with the kids to live in the same house with me? Basically its just bullshit to gain leverage.

Unfortunately, due to my own insecurity (fear of her leaving me), I've become a pushover basically for the last 2 years of our marriage. Basically trying to placate her to keep the peace. No longer.

Selection bias. Most people who feel the need to post are going through hell so mostly you see posts from people going through hell.

Much in the same boat as you. Got served with temp protective orders except the judge has denied all of my wife's requests on the order. I can still live in my house and see my kids. Still have to go to court to defend myself though. Nothing she wrote constitutes anything close to abuse.

If my spouse dropped this nonsense she is pulling right now, and said I'm sorry, lets work it out. I would. As she was walking out with the kids a few weeks ago, I tried one last attempt to get her to stay and work things out.

As a dad with fresh divorce papers and fake domestic violence accusations, this gives me hope.
