My STBXW and I have been in divorce litigation for a year and a half because she refuses to come to the table regarding 50/50 custody. So far, she has prompted a congressional inquiry about me due to a case in 2020, and today I find out she filed a Temporary Protective Order against me, prompting me to have to turn in my firearms to the Sheriffs Dept. While she claims she doesn’t want to keep me from my son, this newest turn has prompted me to think otherwise. They awarded custody to her for the duration until we go to court 13Mar, and yet she says it’s perfectly fine for me to have him. I checked with the courts and they say it’s not. All I have to say is fuck her. She is doing everything in her power to try to ruin me and my reputation prior to us going to court for the divorce.

My lawyer has read through it all and is filing a motion to have it thrown out due to a host of different things. Wrong jurisdiction, false allegations and accusations, and not letting them know that we’re actively going through divorce proceedings, as well as not having any sort of proof to the allegations and only having her word on it. I’m so furious right now I could puke. But, the good part is, because she filed this while we’re going through the divorce, he says that it’ll look incredibly bad for her when custody comes up. Just pray for me, gents. I’m still in the tunnel, but that light is growing slowly brighter and brighter.
