Yep, kinky was buying racy underwear (with stockings and garter belts!) and slapping some plushy cuffs on; the most extreme stuff was swinging and anal, and that was considered extremely out there. Now both of those are almost "vanilla" and the new "kinky" stuff it's outright abuse: choking, slapping, anal gang bangs and everyone is seemingly doing porn now, too.

Just to give you an idea: he is so insecure in his masculinity that he referred to himself as a "bread scientist" when he tried baking. Because baking bread is what the feeeeemales do, but men! Men are scientists in all of their endeavours.

My ex was sectioned before we got together and he used that as the ideal weapon to get me to dance to his tune. Feeling scared for your partner whenever he doesn't answer the phone is not normal. I wish I had ended it when I thought I should; three weeks after I got with him I knew he would be a bad choice. But I stayed for 18 months and it took a move abroad to get away from him emotionally.

Ahh so good, I'm glad the message is spreading. I saw on a FB group recently that somebody used "Dick is abundand and low in value". I see you Queen!

I relly don't like the way she talks shit about tattoos and makeup though. Like, I'm already socialised not to be "too much" and she's expecting me to conform even more? No thanks.

Love, there is nothing wrong with desiring a relationship as long as you don't let that desire undermine your standards!

I find it interesting that they are using the word alienated for it, too. It makes me think of the alienation of the worker under capitalism immediately. And it illustrates perfectly how commodified our sexuality has become. It was "in our nature" to want sex and sexuality because it used to be enjoyable, just like it is inherently our nature to work when work is purposeful and enjoyable. But today sexuality equals performance, just like work does.

My narc dad's new pickme girlfriend is getting rid of her cats for him because he's allergic, even though he doesn't stay at hers much, maybe two nights a moth. He could just take a benadryl for it. Her daughters hate him. She's seen him scream at me and verbally abuse me. But she lOoOoveees him. It's actually traumatising to watch because I know what's in store for her. The abuse, the breaking down of her personhood. The broken relationships with her children and friends. Sorry, that was off to…

Reminds me of my sister - she was extremely self conscious for years. Now she's working out, earning amazing money because her company was a success, and has found her sparkle. Imagine my BILs shock to discover his wife is actually having options and could leave him at any time? The fucking audacity.

Pretty little liars anyone? That series was so fucked up anyway, but the whole Ezra thing was just disgusting. And then they justified it because they got married. 🤮

They often abuse children. They're called "Bumsbomber" and it's the viles shit ever. Goes to show how normalised it is though, the phenomenon having a societally accepted name.

I have found that being lonely in a relationship is so much more heartbreaking and dreadful than being lonely when you're single. When I'm single, there are hard times, and I deal with it alone. Sometimes that is really exhausting. But when these hard times hit when I'm partnered, and my partner doesn't care, it adds another layer of pain, not-being-seen and not-being-cared-for to it. I'd rather be alone than face the reality of my supposed partner not giving a fuck.

Reading "The life Changing Magic of not giving a Fuck" really helped me develop more resilience and still keep some of the more fruitful, mutual interest based relationships going. What it comes down to is to stop being a pickme - not just for men, but for everyone. Know your worth, do what fulfills you without changing your trajectory because somebody might be unhappy with you, and please yourself first.

Just ask them how they would feel if a man was hitting on them/catcalling them. That's the only way they'll understand seeing as they're devoid of empathy for us.

If only moms were that clear with their ZV/NV sons, bit my experience has been the opposite - protecting their fRaGiLe EgOs. Of course that's not to say that it is a moms fault her son turns out like this; but enabling is participating.

This is why I strive to learn being ok with being alone. I'm still struggling and haven't really been able to build up more female friendships and a good support network due to the pandemic, which of course would help. It's my ultimate goal. To learn to be happy woth my own company so having a partner is a choice, not a need.

My father is generous, kind, and smart - but only when you do as he wants you to. He's a raging narcissist and misogynist. A NVM. He will tear you to pieces when you don't agree with him. And he really really really hates women, deep down.

I find the more authentic people are, the less they need Charisma to mask their personality. Authentic people are ok with not being everyone's cup of tea. Charismatic people want everyone to like them.

Yep, it's an epidemic of women being taught never ever to think of themselves because "tHaT's SeLfISh". Well guess what, I'm gonna be as "selfish" as I want, because nobody will look out for me but me.

It's the Growth Mindset, and something we should all foster within ourselves. I think it's a trait of being a HVW - knowing that what I'm capable of doing is not something fixed and predefined, but something that I'm able to influence as long as I'm alive. I can highly recommend Carol Dweck's Book about it, it's very interesting.

Same. I dated two of them, both had massive d*cks, too; but both of them were such LVM when it came down to actually being in a relationship.

Scandal made me so angry. They have this high powered, smart amazing woman that is at the top of her game and we're supposed to believe that she will revert to this massive dumdum risking her career and integrity for a mediocre married white dude? Yeah sure, he's the pReSiDeNT but he's not even good looking, he treats her like shit, he treats his wife like shit, he's just such a LVM.

Also, Bones is has massive Conservative Christian propaganda, too. They had Bones birth her child in a barn for chirst's sake, and in later shows she "accepts Chistianity" for Booth's sake and they make it out to be like she's come to this conslusion because she's such a rational person. The obvious product placement and underlying conservative currents and copaganda are too much for me to ever enjoy it. (It's produced by FOX, so is anyone really surprised?) Be careful and critical of the media y…

Reading a couple books on dog communication is a much better use of my time than reading any literature on how to cOmMuNiCaTe with men. My dog never judges me (except for why I don't give her more treats), she's cute, she's smart, she's good company, she respect my boundaries. She makes less mess than most men I dated in the past, her needs are easy to take care of, she's up for anything and excited to spend time with me. There isn't even a competition.

Mine is being a picky eater or a somebody who leaves every fucking food decision to me but then still nixes my suggestions. My ex was like this, and it came down to eating the same seven meals in rotation. It's an absolute deal breaker for me. I wanna be creative and inspired in the kitchen and I also like to use foraged or more unusual ingredients.

Signs he just doesn’t give a fuck about you: part 1‼️ He's a man. /jk but no treally. Thanks for writing this, but I'm becoming more and more convinced there are no men that respect women. My default has become to assume that the man in front of me is somebody who will disrespect me, and he for sure does not care about me at all. He does not see me as a person, period. It sucks, but the only way I can deal is by putting up boundaries, not dating and staying away from being in a position of havin…

DG is well known for writing herself into corners and using rape to get out of it. I couldn't finish the second book, after the fucked up supposed "trauma healing" where Claire re- raped her husband.

Oh yes, I absolutely agree that they are in no ware comparable by "content", so to speak; I wasn't trying to draw a comparison between the idea of selling your body and selling your design, but trying to express hope that the platform will die and leave the industry more splintered than it was before, which in turn would make it harder for the depraved to access this type of "content".

The only hope I have is that OF will turn out to be unsustainable, and loose it's "appeal". Lots of devs used to think ODesk or Fivr were the way to go in the early days but I don't know any serious dev who still recommends these platforms.
