This. Hubs might also be in on the game, and she's either cucking him, or they're having equal fun with it. Either way, it makes for a safer, more stable plate.

Total Recall is really pretty good. Interesting historical detail, occasionally hilarious, lessons concerning drive, discipline and having fun at the same time, lots of red pill truth, and don't miss the list of "10 things" at the end. Along with some stuff already mentioned below I'd add one I just read: Self-Made in America - John McCormack.

How did you meet your wife? Online, 20 years ago. Turned out she only lived about five miles away from me. How old were you? 40 Were you RP aware? No. My natural tendencies always trended Alpha, but I was raised by a religion fundamentalist, domineering mother, then stumbled young and dumb into a first marriage to the same sort of woman. Escaped, finally, at age 38, completely beta-fied, lost and dead broke. Met my current wife, who was a traditional, grounded, RP sorta gal, which was the beginn…

I didn't read that big-ass block of text, but yes, learning can be interesting, motivating and fun throughout your life, particularly after you've figured out your mission/calling. The most successful people in any field spend however much education time and money it takes to rise to the top.

Read Karl Marx Good lord. We see people all over the world fighting harder about how they want to enslave themselves, and to what degree, than free men fighting to keep their freedom.

I tried it with my closest friend. At the time I was BP, and had just discovered RP a few months beforehand. My friend was a life-long poster boy BP. I got visciously attacked for suggesting there might be a different way to look at life and solve his chronic business and dead bedroom problems. It ultimately ended our friendship.

I'm pretty much with you on all of this, except for your idea that you're eternally "married" to whomever you've had consenual sex with. There are pretty straightforward instructions in more than one place in the scriptures on how to deal with divorces.

+1 on getting yourself checked for sleep apnea. As for the flabby throat muscles, I'm not so sure. I played the trumpet semi-professionally for years and still had terrible apnea. I can say that my quality of sleep is several orders of magnitude better since I got a CPAP.

I didn't see the story you commented to (it's been deleted), but my mother-in-law is as loyal as they come. Stayed with and supported her husband through thick and thin, and there was some pretty thin thin at various times. He died about 10 years ago, and she still misses him something terrible. She herself is in a nursing home, starting to slide off the edge into dementia, and says every day when my wife visits her, "Where's Fred? Take me home to Fred." Intact families were a foundational rock …

I've had a gigantic shadenboner for weeks now, ever since the Weinstein shitshow started (probably should see a doctor for it). Hollywood, popular culture, politics, all taken over by the left, who has hectored, lectured and persecuted people with traditional values and social mores for decades, turns out to be the very cesspool of rape, sexism, and misogyny it has railed against. Who knew? We knew, that's who. As if all the young, starry-eyed tarts who show up in Hollywood didn't know about the…

Yup, and in fact, after I found TRP I kicked several people to the curb who were sucking my time, energy, focus and mission. They were desperately trying to keep me in the box they'd mentally formed, which is a common behavior when someone close to you undergoes a major change. A few of those people I had known for decades. You don't have to ghost everybody, but some strategic cord-cutting may be necessary. And you don't have to be an asshole about it. Soft nexting worked pretty well in my case.

There's a limit to that principle. True. There's also a lot of crying on that sub from horny women who can't get their men to fuck them no matter what they try. Lingerie, walking around naked, gratuitous blow jobs, enticing them away on vacations, slutwear, straight up asking.....but no, their guys would rather play video games and jack off to porn. Here are a couple for fun: Total Recall - Arnold Schwarzenegger's autobio. I saw this mentioned on another book thread here at TRP. It really is a great read by a natural alpha. It's extremely interesting, rich in historical detail, funny, and relates how he was able to achieve so much in an amazing life. I sort of slid through the back third where he recounts his governorship, but there's still plenty of material (650 total pages). Whether you agree with his politics or not, it's well worth a r…

You guys are both correct. Even further questioning of current green card holders has only held up a few people from re-entering the country. It isn't easy to do, like everything worthwhile. However, the most straightforward way I've found is through owning real estate. Each rental you own (be it residential, commercial, apartments, or whatever) is a separate monthly "income stream," or should be anyway if your numbers are right. There's also carry back seller financing and holding performing notes, all of which falls under the umbrella of real estate. Each rental, financing payment to you and note payment to you is a separate stream,…

It takes a fair amount of work. This right here. A few years back I was a middle-aged blue pill loser. My intro was NMMNG. After I came here I read the entire side bar more than once, got mad, internalized it all, read most of the other books, thought some more, finally found my way and became at peace with myself. Sure, you have that right. You DO NOT have the right to compel everyone else to address you as such. The common personal pronouns "he" and "she" are traditionally the most casual terms possible. They aren't marks of respect; they're just simple and obvious categorizations. He wasn't perfect and did make some mistakes, granting amnesty being one of them. But the overall tenor and mood of the country during his time really did make it feel like his presidential motto: "It's morning in America." Recall the great outpouring of sympathy from the American public at his death. The MSM couldn't believe it; they still hated his guts, but the people knew and remembered how good he was.

Speaking of bullshit, this is pure, Grade A buffalo-shit. Historians don't call his presidency the "Carter Malaise," for nothing. It is true that the U.S. suffered a recession soon after Reagan took office, but it was an after effect of years of Democratic economic policy. Spending was not brought under control during his presidency, but the economy took off like such a rocket that tax revenues more than covered for it. It kept going through much of the '90s, for which Bubba took credit for. Als…

Likely won't help you in your current relationship if she already knows what you own. Tucking your stuff away into trusts won't magically make assets disappear, or prevent a determined attorney from forcing it into the open. Going forward, however, with a new/different LTR, it's difficult for someone to get a toe-hold on figuring out whether you own anything or not.

From Arnold Schwarzenegger's The Education of a Bodybuilder: I think the most important things I developed through bodybuilding were my personality, confidence and character. When you have a well-developed body and you're confident, you see people bending your way, wanting to be on your side, wanting to do things for you. When I was young I suffered from the same insecurity every kid has. But as I transformed myself into something strong and unique, discovering I could do one thing well, confide…

Yeah, that's a problem. Most lawyers know fuckall about them. I would recommend doing research on your own for a while. Google, youtube, books, etc, and see if you can get the general jist of how they work. After that I would look for attorneys who specifically advertise knowledge of trusts.

That's the general idea, yes. If you ask 100 people what their ideas are on asset protection, you'll get 100 different answers, kinda like opinions and assholes. It is my opinion that trusts are an excellent tool to use for asset protection. They do not provide a legal firewall that make your assets safe from raiding. They do provide privacy, so that it's much more difficult for an enemy to figure out what you own, or who owns what. The idea is to appear to own nothing, but control everything. Y…

Trusts, used for privacy purposes. The subject of trusts is involved and complicated. I use them in real estate, and it took me four or five years to really figure them out and get clear in my mind how they work, how powerful they are, and what they can do. Problem is, the majority of lawyers out there don't know the first thing about how to use them properly. Get some professional help, but ask around first.

Real estate CAN make you a lot of money, but it depends on your aptitude, motivation, vision, whether you actually like it or not, which part of real estate you go into, and a host of other factors. It sort of sounds like you're looking a get-rich-quick path, and generally speaking, there is no such thing. I'm not attempting to dissuade you from going into real estate, but spending three months getting a realtor licence is scarcely scratching the surface of an enormous area known as "real estate…

I see the same sorts of stuff on rental applications; prior evictions being the big thing. They'll lie and say yes, they had one once, it was the other person in the house who got the eviction notice. Pull it up for a look and they've been kicked out two, three, four times, with their names plainly entered on the notices. Like they somehow think I'm not gonna look, just because they said it was five years ago and wasn't really them.

Compare that to women however, it is a negative for them when they have gray hair. mm....seen pictures of EmmyLou Harris lately? A thick head of white hair on a woman is beautiful.

I had a few grey ones before I got out of high school (at age 18). I'm in my late 50s now, silver/white thick hair. The grey never bothered me and in fact, I've had lots of compliments on it over the years. If it's thick i'd go with it, but that me.

Exactly. TRP has changed my life, but I've grown weary of all the "don't get married!!" screaming over there. My paradigm of a successful marriage was formed in the 60s, and the world was a much different place then. Men were the head of the household, and there was, on balance, more domestic harmony and healthy function, even with a significant percentage of wives working outside the home. Those guys don't seem to realize that one of the foundational strengths of the Western tradition and moral…

Thanks for sharing a good report. Approaching waitresses, cashiers and old ladies has helped me get over life-long bashfulness. From old hags you might run into at Wal-Mart, to beautiful young women at Starbucks, they all pretty much act the same way when you toss a little attention their direction. It's harmless and builds confidence.

I agree. TRP has changed my life, starting with NMMNG a few years back. However, I dislike all the "cunt, whore, slut, bitch, ho" references and the constant yelping about never getting married. It's quite alright to work at understanding women and their nature, but I've grown weary of the constant nastiness when referring to them. My definition of "middle aged" is different but it happens all the time, and it's always happened to some extent. It's simply not being widely reported.
