Focus less on the rejection and more on the process. Like learning to hit a baseball, you don't focus on what will always be a majority of rejections (strikes, fouls, etc) but on the hits and eventually homeruns.

You should stop worrying about that and worry about yourself first. Life is fucking awesome. Have fun and enjoy your life.

I think you've got to start having fun and enjoying your life more dude. It shouldn't be a requirement that other people like you for you to not feel like complete crap.

You should probably seek some help man. It's never that bad.

There's nothing that makes you different than guys who have succeeded with women except your attitude. If you don't believe you can and should succeed with women, why should a quality woman want to be with you?

I'd recommend masturbating more often and practicing control... stopping yourself from finishing before climax, finishing on command, etc

If you already have it down, it is nothing to you... however if you stick with this you'll see how much it hurts guys who don't have it down. If you haven't met them yet, you will.

Where is it, and what have you done to attain it? Stopping at the first step isn't going to cut it.

If he's got you thinking about him enough to make a frustrated post on seddit about him, he's probably doing more right than you realize.

I'm tall too, but not that tall... That is definitely an asset to your game once you learn how to use it. The way I look at it is that people notice us more, for better or worse. It's harder for us to dance well, because our bodies tend to look funny doing the same moves that a smaller person looks totally legit doing. In relation to this post, ask yourself what kind of dating life you want, and assure yourself that you are certainly capable of achieving it. Look at how guys who aren't nearly as…

Having fun in life is useful, and something I try to deploy constantly in my life... However not directly relevant to the subject of improving one's dating life. While myself and others deploy such an attitude with success, their are plenty of individuals that are rather serious and committed that still enjoy remarkable dating lives and/or marriages.

Great Movie that was turned into a book, if I'm not mistaken... Infinite Possibilities is also along the same sort of mentality. I'm actually a fan of both, and wrote this after thinking about them and the very few people I've seen dedicated to improving their dating lives long term yet unable to gain any real measure of success... and I realized they were missing the first step.

Yeah. You're still going to have to learn some stuff and practice along the way, but the going is a lot easier when you can see the sort of success you want and deserve in the future as possible.

I don't drink anymore, although when I did I had reached the point where the waitresses would give me drinks... likely based on the crowd I'd bring with me. I'm a cheap bastard otherwise. I spent $4 today on an Arepa and was pretty hesitant to make that move. I was on a long day 2 and hungry, so I figured what the hell. There's lots of stuff to do for little or no money. Most bars/clubs have times when you can show up and get in free... even if you don't know the bouncers and/or staff enough to …

I've been at least where you are, if not worse. Motivational speeches in High School used to depress me because they said to always remember you've got one good friend... when I had never really had one. I'd start by taking solace in the fact that you CAN learn to get better social skills and that once you do the sky is the limit. I don't know which gurus are popular on this subreddit... but most of the ones I know have what would be severly limiting factors or excuses not to succeed for others.…

There's always a spot for the right kind of girl once your ready for it. The point of this post, misunderstood by a few other responses, isn't that all you have to do is believe you deserve a hot chick and you'll automatically get one... More that you're unlikely to get one until you believe you deserve it. You're an average guy by your own standards, although I see nothing you described that I haven't seen hot women go for several times in the past. I date beautiful women even though I am at ti…

You don't have to defend them against getting hit on, you've got to learn a bit more security and not date hate girls that you can't trust. You'll never be able to beat everyone up that flirts with a hot girl you're dating, and even trying makes you a douche the right kind of girls won't want to be with.

Actually, sarcasm aside, I've been depressed in the past and pulled myself out by strictly forcing myself to be positive. I don't have a job at the moment, but I'm secure that I will be able to find another good one. Schizophrenics are in a category all by themselves as their mental disorder overcomes other things and thinking your way out of it is like trying to think yourself a new arm if you lose one.l Conversely, I know many unemployed people who have given up and stopped really looking or b…

There's a big difference between confidence and what I am talkign about here. It seems you have missed the point entirely. I am currently studying for the CPA exam. Confidence is what I hope to have when I am done studying and confidently know I will pass it, however confidence would be foolish at this point. I am SECURE that I will be able to gain the confidence to pass it in the future.

Its all about focus. If you focus on the negative, and use it as a reason why you can't or shouldn't succeed you won't. I date models, and women pretty enough to be models because I know I deserve it. I was once voted the guy most likely to remain a virgin for life my freshman year of college during an informal poll among our dorm floor. I have had many ups and downs in my life. I'm currently unemployed, crashing on a friends couch, broke, etc. I'm not in great shape, and my cell phone recently …

It's all in your mind. I used to make fun of a French wing of mine because of his accent and he hated it. Then he stopped being a pussy, now he's awesome.

This is not harsh enough. If you have not experienced the situation directly, and not as a fluke one time occurrence, your advice is mostly shit. Guruitis is one of the most annoying things that can happen in PU. A guy gets a little success, reads a lot, or even just gets some practice in and suddenly feels the need to give everyone advice about all kinds of PU related shit they don't care about. Don't be a douche.

I mean the end result is that I get invited to more events, meetings, etc than I can generally attend. However, you just kind of realize that people aren't usually malicious when they do things. When you start coordinating things, you start to realize that many people are intentionally left out. Your social circle grows so that you will forget to invite good friends to events they're interested in. You start to realize that you're not maliciously excluding people, and that most people aren't mal…

Over time it is a big part, but obviously there are other elements. There's some complicated technical parts to this but essentially you've got to create your own reality rather than becoming dependent on who invites you into their reality and how often.

As I stated, few would have considered me a natural before I started working on self improvement. I believe that this is how alpha's think about social situations. The attitude of making things happen versus reacting to what happens to them. More than that, I think this attitude helped me to improve my skills. As I have gone from unable to get laid to becoming a coach and teaching others, I think this hits on an importance difference in the mindset of someone who will succeed vs someone who will…

Yeah, I know some of the guys that started the "no chase" movement. Most of the alpha's I know go for what they want and make it happen, whether in business or their personal lives. This, I'm so cool I'm just going to wait for the world to come to me" stuff is mostly garbage imho.

Orlando. I started out in Melbourne though. The scene here is far superior, and I actually moved here when I was deep into Pick Up. Without trying to sound gangster, I pretty much run this town when it comes to getting in places and knowing where to go. I'm still an admin on the local lair for central Florida and the de facto leader although I'm not too involved anymore since getting a girlfriend ten months ago. Let me know if you wanna head out this way or know what clubs are worth going to, I'…

I really like this post, and think it is spot on in many ways. You do have to be flexible in pick up, but you've got to continually reinforce the good habits. Sooo many habits I learned only to stop using them as I tend to venture too far into the flexible category.

Quit acting like the chick. She's probably helping you by reframing your attention in her mind and making you seem like more of a man. You're talking like you've got a bad case of oneitis and want to be in the friend lane man. Get a hold of yourself.

Eh, I was a dating coach for a long time and still take students occaisonally. I've fooled with this a lot. To really "get" a girl like that, you've got to be a person who can handle them. There's no simple tricks to it. When you are that person, you won't have to ask advice on how to handle them.

That's the only kind of girl I date. Maybe you're just not ready for them? I'm social, cocky, confident, talk to everyone, and throw shit tests all of the time.... having a girl that can match me is important.

Perhaps, but not overly so and there were a lot of strong points made. Especially on the women paying equal, owning more of the workforce, hitting men, etc. There are also many points left out, like the fact that in most states women have far more rights when it comes to children. It is time for serious discussion to begin, at a national level, on these issues.

It sounds like she's a horny girl. I'd call and talk to her late, get her in the mood, then propose your ploy.

Lol, fuck it. I'm Libido, I run the lair for Orlando and have spoken at conventions and taught hundreds of guys pick up. Kind of past the fulcrum point personally and it's reflexive now. I jump on here sometimes to see if anything interesting comes up, mostly ghost reading though as I don't have time to read all of the material locally so this just becomes an extension of my reddit addiction. I do sales generally, currently medical sales and I am a partner in a modeling firm. Write articles for …
