Ha thanks. And yea I'm definitely trying. Trouble is that she's into the same things as me so we bump into each other a lot. And being an engineer severely limits the number of attractive girls I meet in classes. But I'm just starting out. Plenty to learn and put to practice

Well I was hardly belligerent and I didn't go into the set with a negative attitude. I drink and become more social if anything. But at a point my newfound outgoing-ness becomes sloppy. I didn't hit that point on this night though one or two more whiskey cokes and I could have. Had I opened a few more sets earlier I think it would have been a much better night. But hindsight is 20/20

Ha I know. I'm pretty terrible at making the first move. And I'm not at all aggressive unless I've had quite a few drinks (not violent but just like grabbing and a girl and kissing her). And I've been doing so many goddamn things wrong after reading up on this threat for about a week and a half. Better late than never to fix I suppose.

I know exactly how you feel. I'm a senior in college as well and I've slowly been expanding my social circle. Probably the quickest change I've noticed is looking people (esp. women) in the eye. Today I walked around campus with no slouch and a slow step. I gave every pretty girl i saw a shit-eating smile and made sure she looked away before me when we noticed each other. For true PUA's I'm sure this is nothing but for me it's a pretty good baby step forward.

Yea AA is a bitch but it's getting better. I just found out about seddit about a week ago but I can already tell a difference in how I act. I talk slower, smile more and always stand up straight. Baby steps I suppose. I try and make small talk with cashiers and random people I would generally ignore now as well. Feels good man

My buddy I always go out with actually wears a suit or shirt/tie/suspenders everywhere we go. Suspenders seriously work magic for him. Every girl he talks to wants to grab and "snap" them.

Alright some good advice. I'm big into running and have a slap on- bracelet that has red LED's in it for night running. It's pretty dorky but it gives a girl something to relate to from childhood and an excuse for me to touch her wrist. Also leads to a conversation about running. I tend to end up at a late night bar/club scene so it wouldn't look that out of place on the dance floor either

I'm a chronic over-thinker and I've blown a few shots thanks to it. Before break and before learning about seddit, I opened to a set of two Hb8.5's. I introduced myself, said something slightly clever and then... nothing. I completely choked. I thought they wanted nothing to do with me. They were by far the cutest girls at the bar. So I bailed. It shook me more than it should have. But that also lead me here so can't complain too much.
