I always had a fear of standing up in my last relationships because of this exact thing happening Depending on how you stood up for yourself, this is a decent bar for entry for healthy relationships. If you can't defend any because you're too afraid of them leaving, then it's not the right kind of dynamic for you...unless you want toxic relationships.

my mother while I was growing up was insane. Same. I get it really well. I'm sorry you went through that. Therapy is obviously the best way because you get help from someone who is properly trained in giving you the validation you need to release those hurts in a healthier way than if we were to walk through our recoveries solo, but it's not impossible. Anger/Rage are one of the emotions you need to get out but it's also the one that carries a lot of liability. I suggest starting to journal abou…

Well, you know, we can start by asking how your relationship is with your Mother or if you have any trauma that comes from women specifically. Things like this can cause us to judge that sex differently than we normally would had we sought out help for the sex-based hurt that can linger in our subconscious (similar to how some women end up with "daddy issues"). I was like this with women too (still kinda am but we just have to work at it to undo it) and the head shrink nailed some deeply buried …

Sorry! I don't know how I missed this. There are a few, but a good starter is "Attached: The New Science of Adult Attachment and How It Can Help You Find and Keep Love" by Amir Levine and Rachel S. F. Heller. They're both degreed professionals for this field.

Yes! It's Hella sexy. You can learn what each other likes, find new likes, explore each other's buttons and sweet spots, and my God when you can make him make noises that they try so hard to cover up...Hot. 🎰🎰🎰

Arguably they do by using psychological tactics that are designed to keep you stuck, plus the algorithms. They don't make it easy. The Social Dilemma explains this very well and shows you how finely tuned it is for addiction.

I think people should stop rejecting some of the things that were taught. We've already been seeing the internet be scrubbed, we know what was there. Archive.org thankfully saved a lot. But thank you for your supportive messages regardless. :)

You have to look at state laws. If you don't have a medical card to get the "medicinal" kind then you'll need it to be "recreational". You can go to a cannabis doctor and they'll give you a card after an interview. You can actually save a lot in taxes that way but some would still rather keep it private and that's okay too.

Edibles worked for me, but I suggest low doses at first. Talk to the shop people about your concerns, normally they're very good at teaching. I very much enjoy edibles. 100% recommended. 👌🏼

Practice in the mirror. I'm serious. Watch yourself be stupid and boring until you become comfortable. You need to learn to laugh at yourself, own your shit, find new things, study those, learn another thing, etc. Then you just keep going for the rest of your life until you unlock God mode. This level is over, go find another mission. Bonus XP if you do it by tomorrow night. Get to it, Spartan. Edit: /u/Pomeranian111 we want an update. :) Have you finished another mission yet?

Doing this kind of thinking led me to some really messed up places that didn't really serve me. That's what I'm trying to say. I've worked for years trying to update decades old thought-processes that only kept me down. Thinking about switching places with someone is neither productive nor realistic. I can however, analyze their life and story and see if there is anything I can implement in my life. I don't have a perfect life, I've made decisions and others have as well that have shaped my life…

Are we speaking of using imagination of something that can't happen that will only serve to instill false hope in me? I follow Stoicism which means I try not to worry or make plans about things outside of my control. This seems like wishful thinking to me and I think I can analyze my life in other more beneficial ways that include things from which I can actually benefit.

What worries me, is how much men listen to other men’s experiences to make decisions. Which could only backfire, because everyone has different experiences. And it shows how much of what RP pushes is projection based on their feelings. How often have you heard them complain how women need their friends approval of their partner. But that’s exactly what they do to other men. It’s total hypocrisy. Plus the interesting part is figuring out how many of these coaches likely also had untreated persona…

I just like sharing and expanding ideas and I don’t like how people look at pseudo science and say no value here cause it’s not rooted in truth. When in reality all experiences have some truth to them. Exactly! Love your spirit. :)

It makes sense, but to me who was raised very trad and with very little information like this, even Love Languages can be a huge step in the right direction with understanding others and how we can burn ourselves out showing love and then it not be received because we're missing steps. It's definitely not for those more advanced in this stuff for sure, but really good for beginners.

I don't have the energy to waste on these videos anymore. You're free to believe what you want, but the unfortunate part of having discussions like this is claiming anecdotal evidence is general truth. Do women cheat? Absolutely. Do men cheat? Absolutely. Is there a chance you'll be cheated on if you commit to someone? Yup. Is there a chsnce your partner will be loyal forever? Uh huh. If you practice relationship anarchy, then just tell them what they're signing up for. If you want to do polyamo…

she left me like i meant nothing to her More context is vital. and was horrible cold and awful towards me when she met a new man 1 day later I'm very sorry that happened to you. all that time spent together meant nothing Our time spent making memories might be over, but it does not mean it doesn't mean anything. The Bible says that men and women submit to one another, we simply have different roles to fulfill that are equally precious and worthy. Whether it’s feminists who think submission is a bad thing that makes women into stupid slaves, or hypocrite men who think submission is being disloyal to his wife while the wife has to be loyal and fulfill all her roles, both of these viewpoints do not represent what submission actually is. red pillers essentially want the results of a Christian lifestyle with…

The problem is you run up against this shit when trying to take down big cults like this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect They're like Scientology and the others at this point. They're just online, so their 'church' is in the form of a sensationilized YouTube cast instead of the traditional sit in, feel of wholesome community, and maybe the occasional pot luck on the first Sunday of every month.

I've been that girl and then the therapists helped me understand trauma bonding, attachment from childhood issues, gaslighting, etc. A lot of these things are little puppet strings that pull on us subconsciously until we become self-aware of it and work through the issues in treatment. You think she might be open to reading a book to get better? Also, I know it's considered pseudoscience to some, but myself and millions of others have found a lot of relationships getting significantly better by …

A person treats me well they are God I must live them to death. A person treats me bad they are Satan and I must actively destroy them. I say this as respectfully as I can, but I'm so sorry you have to live like that. The world is so colourful and I feel like you can only see primary colours? This explains my old friend so much. My God, I completely get why he got so mad at me when I had to leave for my own treatment, deal with family issues, needed walkabouts, etc. I'd need to leave for months,…

The idea is that you give enough time for them to drop the mask before you be official with them (everyone masks, but to what degree?) or if you do get with them, take at least a year as a watchful probationary period where you don't make any life-changing decisions. Things to watch for subtly is how kind she is to strangers, whether decisions include other people's feelings (as much as possible, obviously we can't make everyone happy) or if they're rooted in ego, if they use trauma as an excuse…

I'm an older Red Piller (~2005ish) and it was nothing like this. This is very clearly a hijack of the original meaning by the very people the original tried to teach people to get out of. The hostility, misogyny, sexism, etc. That's all new. The sexes were taught how to use our differences in our favour for better relationships, sex lives, fun, roles, compatibility, etc. Around 2010ish is when I finally started to go down the seduction pipeline as a woman (you know, for better sex 😏) and around …

Oooh, so you want her to suffer social and public pain from her damages? I've had an ex do this behind my back and it was really interesting to see him only share 10% of my 'jerk' behaviours and not reveal any of the other 90% of my kindness, generosity, and non-jerk behaviours. Then he never told them what he did to get that reaction, how he directly caused the destruction of my career, how he blackmailed me, etc. That was fun to deal with. Boy, I hope you're not that type of person.

You know what's also popular there? Sex trafficking and exploitation. There is even an issue with trafficking of young boys and men. Supply and demand on nutting is such a weird flex when there is plenty of good sex culture in other places with consenting adults. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_trafficking_in_Thailand

Oof, I felt every word of this. Did this myself and it's wild even how better your mental health gets. No more wondering what you've done wrong this time, no feelings of worthlessness just because I didn't feel like getting dolled up that day (messy bun + hoodie FTW), no more below the belt and veiled insults, no more silent treatments, no eggshells...it was like I could breathe again. Sending hugs your way.

It's easy to feed the masses curated partial truths and panem et circenses with enough money and paid actors. It's important to understand what they're not telling you and it's that those relationships, if they do get going, are often short-lived and fizzle out (especially with the ones that use the tricks to make her addicted to him with push/pull and all that). They rarely last and usually require a level of hijacking parts of her brain just to keep her with you. They're too fake. It's mentall…
