Yeah, it's a very old technique. It's even better if it's very obvious you're not gay because girls will think it's kinda playful and you look like you don't take yourself too seriously.

Because neediness is a huge turnoff. How hard is that to grasp? People (not just women) don't like feeling like you want something from them and you need them, especially when they barely know you. Live your life, be clear with your intentions and when you get rejected say "That's cool. Have a good one" and move on.

Now a days it seems like women’s expectation is that every guy is packing 7 inches. Where are you getting that info? Social media? Don't even sweat it. It's about how you use it, after all.

People that have a long history of toxic relationships perceive acts of kindness as transactional, even if they're not. So she was most likely expecting you would want something from her for being nice and didn't like it.

"Nice girls go for nice guys" Don't go after girls that are attracted to assholes. I met several girls like that when I was single. It is kinda sad.

As I mention in the comment, you weren't creepy or pushy and treated her like a human being. That's a good lesson to learn when wanting to initiate. It also didn't seem like you were "outcome dependent", meaning you didn't expect anything to happen which women can smell from a mile away and makes you seem desperate.

Good for you, man. There are some nice takeaways here for you but the primary one is that you seem to have treated her with some humanity and weren't creepy or tried to take advantage of her. Obviously, she was inebriated which played a role but keep that in mind next time. Women are just people so treat them like it.

freedom units What a hilarious concept when in reality it's the "imperial" system. I wonder if people know which empire that refers to.

Yeah, man. It just makes it easier by removing one hurdle. It's like getting jacked. It just makes it easier. If you don't have any game, you'll still not get laid. At the end of the day, we're all just trying to hedge our bets. You groom yourself, dress nicely, smell nice, look good, have confidence and then it's a numbers game.

By the way, Grande apparently said that she started the rumor to fuck with him and it's lead to more disappointed women in his life, according to him.

Unless you're really really attractive. I knew a guy that could pass for a real life Superman. He'd get approached by multiple women in bars. Unreal.

It looks like he went to ask for permission? Which is weird and not "nice guy" related. He could've just said "Think I should get another cup?" like a normal human being.

Something that a lot of guys don't get is that some times, people don't match. Could be one way or both ways. You can do everything right and still not get that girl. Just move on and work on yourself.

Honestly, you just gotta have really good game. I've got a friend who's about that height and he pulls really hot women all the time. But he's a super cool dude, dresses very nicely and is very fun and easy to talk to. I've seen him win over girls from another friend of ours who is 6'2" and so good looking I call him "Superman". He routinely walks in a place and women hit on him. But he has next to no game.

What others have said, pretty much. I got in touch with old friends that I remembered fondly and slowly built from there. I also made a few friends through local events like startup meet-ups and such. Finding events with subjects that interest you is an easy way to find people with common interests somewhat.

I am definitely not. But I've never used a "line" and I've always found out that it's how you say it and not what. I've literally hit on a girl with the line "Hey, do you know anything about Vespas?". She thought it was funny and said "No". And I said "Well, since you don't..." and I walked away. She came after me and we chatted a bit. It was all funny and fun and that's all girls really want. I'm not tall, pretty average in the looks department but I work out, I'm confident and funny. I see it in real life too. It's kinda ironic (?) since a true alpha male doesn't care about any of that shit. He's just himself on a complete, inner/outer level. It's all about congruence. You can't fake that shit.
/r/seduction29/07/14 03:21 PM

It's always a combination of 1-4, I think. You need to be outcome independent in anything you do. You need to develop those skills and working on your appearance will make your life a lot easier See #2 You're not gonna be able to attract 100% of the women you want, no matter how hard you try.

Say "Hi" first. That establishes rapport and comfort all at once because you're an alpha, confident as fuark male. Then poke them with your dick, as /u/loraxcunt said.

Great read, man. I find that doing even some of those things (looking them in the eyes, giving more interesting answers to mundane questions etc) makes people feel really connected to you and not just women. It's funny because we all know instinctively to do the opposite of those things when someone is boring or unattractive so as to repel them. See: talking about the weather, your job, looking around as if you're waiting for someone
/r/seduction02/05/14 09:00 AM
6

Why? I'm honestly asking this question because it's not a rational thing to do. Kissing someone's hand is traditionally out of respect (see: priests, mobsters, monarchs etc). By doing that, you are subliminally putting yourself below the woman when the idea is that you should at least start off as equals, if not being superior (physically, socially etc).

This is how I've felt the past few days over there. I even made a comment on a [meta] thread asking for less "woman hating" and it got upvoted a ton and people agreed with me but the very next day it was back to the same old shit. I guess that's the nature of Reddit. There's a ton of non-contributing members that just up/down vote stuff and you're getting the view of the masses.

I feel that a lot of them have had bad experiences with rotten women and they extrapolate that to "AWALT". They have resigned themselves to thinking that all women will cheat, "alpha fucks, beta bucks", all women are out to get your money and destroy your life, when in fact, from personal experience at least, the minority is like that and it's very easy to distance yourself from them instead of sinking into misogyny...

In my mind, I saw it as a step up from Seddit. As a way to improve my inner game beyond the social circle. But there is so much hate and bickering there. And most of them are deluding themselves in thinking that everyone that calls them out is a "blue piller" when, in fact, most of them haven't swallowed the red pill yet, so to speak.

You should see TRP right now. It used to be about becoming a better man and now it's just a toxic community that hates and blames women for everything. I had to unsubscribe because it was just bringing me down...At least Seddit, with all its flaws, is still a fun community.

It has become socially acceptable for the woman to walk all over the man after the "I do's". It baffles me. Especially considering the sexual expiration date of men vs women. Withholding sex, manipulating, playing mind games are all fair game if a woman does it. If a man does it, he's too distant, isn't making an effort or is dead inside.

I don't see it mentioned around here but me and a few friends of mine have had what is called "pivots". Basically, girls of various degrees of hotness that you don't usually fuck but they help you open sets and wing you and, in return, they have fun with you and they get to have sex with high value men. It's a good relationship if you are in a time in your life when you like to go out a lot and keep up the pace but they're practically plates that you're not fucking and are basically your female …

I often notice that when I visit areas outside of major cities, girls are much more open and approachable. A lot of the women here in Athens are often cold and bitter and very nagging. Girls in the country are much more laid back. Don't really know why that is.

Well, yeah, obviously. I'd never go to war, even at the threat of death. Fuck that shit. And, mind you, those women respected their men. They took pride in raising their children and keeping a clean home and a warm meal. Women these days brag about not being able to cook or clean, as if being a slob is some sort of badge of honor.
/r/TheRedPill20/03/14 01:18 PM

Well, to be honest, it wasn't all peachy for my grandmother and her siblings in rural Greece. Sure, the men had to fight in the war but while they were away, the women tended to the fields and cattle and had to take care of all the men's responsibilities. Some of them died and a couple of them died post-war from bombs left behind by the Nazis but it was never peachy for anyone. I guess the takeaway is that it was shitty for everyone but women today have distorted that into meaning that men worke…

That staying at home, tending to the children and house is basically equal to slavery/rape/torture etc...Oh, the humanity! EDIT: Seeing as this comment has gotten some traction, here is a relevant clip from Bill Burr.

What if she was being an actual bitch? I'd expect those guys to call a guy out for being a bitch too...

A lot of standups are really RP. Check out stuff from Bill Burr, Joe Rogan, Chris Rock. Chris Rock's bit about "women don't go back in lifestyle, men don't go back sexually" really opened my mind.

Yeah, a guy with connections is always preferred. Connections > Tits > Being right

This. Get a much better lawyer. Pay him. A lot. It's worth it. I'd sue afterwards but I don't know how well that would work for you.

Defence lawyer Antonie Mullers had told the court Morris was struggling to accept the facts of the case, and asked Judge Juckes to spare her a prison sentence altogether. He said: 'Her immaturity at 21 means she cannot accept the facts yet. She accepts her conviction but with time will accept more. So, because she's an immature woman-child, she get leniency? Jesus fucking Christ...

Yeah, I'm with you. I'm all for long term relationships and living together and having kids but there's no way I'm betting half my shit on another person's character, even if I love them incredibly. Even if you account for tax write-offs and whatnot, I still think it's negligible but what do I know. I'm just a guy on the Internet...

Don't really know about all that. I trained in martial arts for about 14 years and, at a point, competed in kick boxing on a national level. There is a very well established pecking order in a gym. You know which guys not to fuck with and which you can whip. It's a contact sport so there's rivalry and partnership. But the biggest takeaway for me was that I don't find other men intimidating. I'm average height and I lift weights but I'm nothing huge. I've been in a couple real fights and an actua…

Now, here's the thing. There's nothing inherently wrong with being a nice guy. As long as you don't do it to please others. You can do nice shit and still maintain your frame and your status. In fact, it's encouraged. Being in a position to help others and doing it is the most "alpha" thing someone can do, in my mind.

Roids will just make you an asshole with big muscles if you were already an asshole. As for what you said on low fat and carbs it's just calories. We've seen in tight control conditions where everything was accounted for that it all came down to the energy intake.
/r/TheRedPill13/03/14 10:34 PM
1

No that is pseudo science perpetuated by those seeking to profit from selling a product. The only thing that triggers fat gain is an energy surplus.
/r/TheRedPill13/03/14 05:04 PM

Never underestimate the power of idiots perpetuating nonsence. Stuff like "roid rage", low fat, low carb etc have been scientifically disproven as well but morons still spout them out.

Exactly. She's more equal than everyone else.
/r/TheRedPill13/03/14 02:07 PM
2

Yeah, because as a man you are expected to have other tools at your disposal to wow a mate than looks. If you are fat, you can do something about it instead of crying in a tub of Ben and Jerry's. If you are short, you accept that and try to be more interesting and fun. If you are an unattractive woman, that option does not exist. Most guys won't care.
/r/TheRedPill11/03/14 11:14 AM
1

Pretty much what everyone else has said. Down the line, you really won't care. For now, pretend like you don't care. So, she ignores you. Who gives a shit? You've got more important things to worry about. You. Are. Bigger. Than. This.

We had this very popular thread recently. Worth a read. My advice is the same. Either dance with the girl or don't. Don't hover around them.

An easy way to train this is to make eye contact with strangers just walking down the street. If you generally don't look threatening (aggressive look, intent stare) and just casually look them in the eyes as you pass them by, no one will mind and it will make it a LOT easier to make long eye contact during conversation.

I assume the person inviting you knows at least one other person, if not the host. If you can get acquainted with even one more person, that helps a lot! Just don't think and dive right in. What's the literally worst thing that can happen?
/r/seduction18/05/13 04:05 PM
3

The whole premise is that you don't feel comfortable with it but you are forcing yourself to put up with it because "it's a shit test", "gotta maintain my frame" etc which isn't all that different from "she's the one". Just making excuses so that you won't lose a girl when in the end you have to be thinking why should you be afraid of losing her and not the other way around? Would you throw shit at the woman in your life all the time?
/r/seduction11/03/13 07:35 AM
41

Yeah, it probably came out wrong. What I'm saying is that a lot of guys will sacrifice their own quality of life just to be with a very attractive woman and that's basically against everything we're trying to accomplish.
/r/seduction10/03/13 08:13 PM

I have a feeling you might get downvoted but I'm with you 100%. A lot of the guys here (sometimes myself included) are more interested in quantity over quality. And I don't mean that as ugly vs hot. I mean that in the way she makes you feel. A relationship should help and alleviate some of your stress, not add to it.
/r/seduction10/03/13 07:45 PM

Great FR, man. A great indication of how important it is to keep your frame, lead and just have fun.

Spend the extra time to learn a few basics. Watch a couple videos on YouTube. Any skill you learn can be useful. Plus, ice skating is really fun and you can pick it up after 3-4 times if you've got decent balance and coordination.

+1 for stand up comedy. My sense of humor is more akin to that of American stand up comedians, so I draw a lot from that. What I've mostly learned is how to tell funny stories that are engaging, not care about others' reactions and stay in the "bit". If people see that you are passionate about your silly about broccoli or whatever, they take notice. May sound weird but it works.
/r/seduction04/02/13 09:28 PM

In my experience, as you say, texting is only effective if you've already established attraction. Then you maintain interest and keep her engaged, while always aiming for another date or escalation in general.

/r/seduction07/01/13 01:01 PM

Yeah, I'm totally with you. Don't get hung up on these things. An ex fuck buddy of mine is now in a relationship and all I did when she told me was "Hey, good for you!" as I knew she wasn't comfortable hanging around with me. But I don't mind either way. And neither should you. Even if it's a girl you really like, never shut her out but don't be an emotional buffer for her. Be a fucking man.

However, it's not so far from the truth. I often revert to that mindset when I'm fed up with various things. It lends itself well to not-giving-a-fuck-itude.

It's more a breach of trust than anything else. It all comes down to the person. You may attribute it to a moment of weakness or your own lack of value. It's never happened to me, as far as I know anyway, and I don't honestly know how I would react. I would value it more if she just came out and told me but I would still probably break up with her but remain on friendly terms. I've had opportunities to cheat but have chosen not to and I don't regret it, regardless of how the relationship turned …

You know, I believe this community requires more vocal feedback. This is especially true about not-so-stellar comments that get downvoted to oblivion but a newcomer won't know why. I'm not saying let's start commenting on every useless comments but some comments adding to an already good one are most welcome. This, indeed, did not add but I just wanted to put this out there.
/r/seduction02/01/13 01:17 PM
13

Yeah, this is very true and I believe it's a common "flaw" of a lot of guys just now starting to turn their lives around. It all comes down to congruence. Most guys starting out haven't internalized what it is to be an awesome, fun guy that girls will want to be with and are just acting like that. Meaning, they need to keep the "act" going. It happens to everyone and even seasoned veterans sometimes. Eventually, you realize that it's not something you do but something you become and your actions…
/r/seduction02/01/13 01:15 PM
1

Well, it's true. I don't pursue girls with boyfriends either. But really, that's up to the person. If a girl is willing to cheat, it's not your problem really. You're not taking advantage of her. And according to the FR, him having a hand on her ass and almost kissing her, she sounds like she was an inch away from cheating and it was more of a shit test. The art of seduction is a case of "with great power comes great responsibility" but that responsibility doesn't rely solely on the seducer...

It probably meant more to her to reject than it meant to you to be rejected. Either way, I'm with you. Keep your state and carry the fuck on. Life's too important to sweat the little things.

I've honestly never seen anyone get slapped. Unless you, I don't know, grab her ass while she's not looking or something, I doubt you'll ever get slapped. Most girls will just tell you to fuck off if you're too annoying.

I actually laughed at this. Thank you.
/r/seduction08/11/12 09:10 PM

Yeah, especially 3. People often forget that and kinda let themselves go emotionally. As Chris Rock once said "You assume your woman is with you because she loves. But you have to work on her liking you..."
/r/seduction28/10/12 08:48 PM
16

Yeah, basically, don't become a relationship drone just because you're in a relationship. Keep being yourself but just include her in your life.
/r/seduction28/10/12 08:47 PM
2

Man, I know it's hard. Just let it go. Don't cut all ties. Just find other interests. Unless someone has intentionally wronged you, don't burn bridges. However, you should stop texting her and being her "on the hook" guy. She need to realize you have more important things to do and she's not one of them. You are the asset. You are important. There's millions of girls out there that would love to get with you. You need to let that sink in.
/r/seduction22/10/12 08:24 AM
2

Yeah, well, that's the way the cookie crumbles. With experience, you figure out those types pretty early. Don't let yourself give them too many chances. Figure out that your time is important. It's the only asset you're never getting back and time wasters should be cut out.
/r/seduction21/10/12 08:36 PM

In the book, Tyler is a sociopath. He exhibits every sign of that. He takes apart every human interaction and sees relationships as trade agreements. However, from what I hear from people that have met him more recently, he's grown up (he was a kid in The Game) and is a pretty cool dude. So, maybe he was going through a phase or Neil had a skewed perception of him. Strauss mentioned in his AMA that nothing was fabricated...

Yeah, sure. I have female friends that are inherently shy or assume the other guy is socially skilled enough to pick up signals (occasional eye contact, smiling etc) and he just stands there frozen. It's obviously easy to open a group of guys and introduce them to your group, if you don't mind. It's a very "alpha" thing to do and I've had great success with it in the past gaining value in both groups.
