Thanks for the advice! I think you might be right about the passed opportunity. I just can't shake the feeling though, that doing nothing now, would be a waste of "personal investment". Then again, that reinforces the fact that I care far too much and have a tendency to get attached. I will let this cool down, diversify my advances and see how far that takes me. Thanks

Lots of dudes in here getting hung up on the fact that these quotes are from the bible. It really doesn't matter though, could've been Quran, Tora or the sesame street. Content is what counts. Y'all atheists need to get down from your high horse and accept that even though you think the book is garbage, it may contain some truths. Christians: don't get too cocky. While the bible has a bunch of rp stuff, you guys don't have the monopoly on these things and calling the bible the original rp comes …

Also you may want to get checked for sleep apnea if you sleep 7+ hours and still dont feel well rested. Symptoms/indicators: Loud snoring, tiredness (especially towards the afternoon), sweating, can be hereditary Not treating sleep apnea can damage heart and brain as you have prolonged pauses between breaths while asleep.

Sell your steam account. Sell your games. That's how I quit just last week, although it was on console. Sold ps4 and TV. You'll find stuff to do eventually.

Well I've just started a few weeks ago. I am strong on self discipline. Started lifting, quit smoking, sold my playstation and started reading. I struggle with approach anxiety, idgaf attitude and generally giving too many fucks about what other people think of me. But I am confident that I can change this. Future's lookin good :)

Try this the other way around: don't sit in front of the TV. Rather than "trying to fill my time so I don't watch TV", you "don't watch TV and see what happens". I have the same problem. I ban myself from certain absorbing-but-unproductive activities periodically. Interesting. In the end I wang to do something of value. I just hope I dont replace one stupid thing with another. Um. What master? Unless you're in a workplace environment I'm not sure this applies. The reason for this law is that if …

I set some annual goals, which I break down to monthly, which I break down to weekly and incorporate into my weekly planning. This is good, but do allow things to change in the short term, you need flexibility too. Are you actually following your plan? So far more or less. I do need to look at it more each day to make it a routine. usually having it written is enough since there is not much that fills my free time. But I want to make it a habit since I want to load my free time with more stuff s…

I'm currently trying to better myself. I stopped smoking, started lifting, meditate, and try to project more confidence since 3 weeks ago. I've read the ego is the enemy and I'm currently going through the 48 laws of power. In order to internalize these laws, I'll start next week and focus on one law and try to utilize it in real situations ( learning by doing, not by reading) I set some annual goals, which I break down to monthly, which I break down to weekly and incorporate into my weekly plan…
