How is it NOT discriminatory? The only attributes mentioned are sex and skin colour.

Theres a very easy way to determine if it is discrimination. The newspaper test. Replace 'white men' with another group, imagine that on the front page of a newspaper and and see if it sounds discriminatory.

Tell you what. Post links to all the sexualized males in athletics competitions. I'll do the same with the women. Then we see who's got more? Deal?

Because they want to punish and demonize men. Demonize male lust and put this idea out there that its wrong for men to even have these feelings. But women are allowed to have them. total mental gymnastics to reach that conclusion. Back in the day, it was considered normal human behavior to gawk at female athletes Based on this, it seems you just want to keep looking at female butts. I dont understand how posts like these have so many upvotes.

<video> Sexism towards men is difficult to spot because its so normalized. See the people riding on top of the train. 99.9% men. Dont they deserve a safe trip as well? If they were women, it would be a national scandal and a new train be commissioned to carry them. Men? meh....they are fine..,

Well done fellow Aussie. When the speaker for men's mental health, is a Trans man and talks about what kind of man you should be rather than offering understanding and support, is insulting. My other gripe was a couple of years ago when female advocacy groups wanted the state to declare a national state of emergency after a small increase in femicides, at the time when femicides were at an historic low. But the narrative made it seem like the complete opposite. Men's suicide numbers on the other…

If it were normalized, you wouldn't be talking about it here. If you saw it online, it's because its has shock value and generates engagement (which prompted you to write this). By definition, it can't be normalized. 'Normalized'is unnoticeable. Crossing the road, driving, eating pizza. A video that makes headlines is not.

Ok buddy. If you like to to play soccer, you go and play soccer. That's great and you're happy. If you girlfriend wants you to play soccer, but you dont want to because you like baseball instead, but you still go ahead and play soccer, then that's "obey". You do stuff you dont want to do because (in this case) your girlfriend told you so. Do you see the difference? Cooking when I want vs cooking when I'm told to cook?

I think many Gen Z men are simply recognizing that a successful relationship requires a strong leader. Do they? I thought they were more like partnerships with equal (but maybe different) responsibilities. or that they always get their way, or that his wife/girlfriend has to "obey" every single command he gives her That's literally what "obey" means. To do what they are asked to do, regardless. You can wordsmith it as much as you like, but that's the intent. So this is a survey that is not trans…

The point of the analogy is that is that everything we do in life has risks and we make decisions based on those risks. Everyone has their own fears and fobias that influence how we perceive those risks and the decisions we make. The main issue here is that the original post is indicating that "too many" men are predators and that there's no safe environment for women, anywhere, at all. No women are safe and every man is a threat. She'd rather live in a women-only environment (ironically, lesbia…

You omitted probably one of the most important ones, which is the mental stress of the ordeal, which has resulted in people taking their lives in extreme cases. In other cases it can, and most likely will, lead to depression, anxiety, panic attacks, loss of trust, lack of confidence, and other mental health issues. And all of this...while you're innocent.

I saw it as I have a daughter (not that you need an excuse to do so). I thought it was mildly funny with good set designs and visuals, but I hated the message, and the portrayal of the relationship between the sexes. It felt the movie was arguing against 1960s society, not 2020s. It had an opportunity to show that society needs both men and woman to treat each other with respect, and they didn't. A wasted opportunity IMHO.

There are two main reasons why this act (which is not the same as breastfeeding by the way) is disgusting: First, social norms on most western countries indicate that -legal or not- women do not go around, in the middle of the city, showing their breasts, the same way that men do not go around showing their buttocks. By breaking that social norm, she's imposing the sight of her breasts onto unconsenting people . Funny that feminists speak all the time about consent (and rightfully so) but when w…

Please expand on this gender role discussion with children. What does that look like and what message are you trying to instil that doesn't already exist in today's society? The thing with most of these discussions about gender roles is that I feel we're assuming that people are stuck in the 60s or 70s and need to be brought into the 2020s. They are not. The point -beyond percentages, etc- is that -even today- the cost of pregnancy is higher for women than it is for men. Since no sane woman would trust a man based on "yeah, I took the pill today", the male contraceptive pill would only work as an addition to an already existing birth control method (likely female pills). And if you want an additional layer of birth control, its easier to use condoms -which btw will also protect you against STDs, something no pill can do- than go on a male pill. …

The whole point of "the pill" was to give women sexual independence. Back then, women bare the burden of pregnancy (during and the years after). They bare the social stigma of single motherhood as well. Men weren't as affected. The pill changed all that. Women wanted to take the pill, because it gave them freedom. Particularly when their male partners were not too keen on condoms. You could say that men have similar (but different) reasons by taking their pill. They do not want to be financially…

She's spot on al always and I hope that this is seen as a watershed moment for all this DEI nonsense. The hypocrisy of the deans is off the charts. Try organizing a march for "All black people must die" and see how far you.

Recommending literature on this without considering the huge caveat of the first sentence on your post is pointless. I'd ask you, from a future catholic priest pov, what kind of gender roles will you be advocating to your future parishioners? If you're going to advocate for "traditional" gender roles, you'll find that you'll bump into many walls, and rightfully so.

His point is female athletes aren’t as skillful as male athletes and that’s due to their biological make up which is out of their control. You confuse skills with strength and speed. Men are not more "skilled" than women. You’re right people outside of MRA may demonize this response but they’ll demonize any response on this topic. Mmmm...not really. It depends on the argument presented and this argument is pretty poor. Childish almost. Women should not be paid because they are not as fast as m…

Ergo, by the numbers we on average see more action from the men's games compared to the woman's games.. Perfectly possible for a men's game to finish 3-0 and last 45 min. Do you ask for your money back because you saw fewer minutes? So its not a matter of time played then is it? Its about the show, the stress, the tension, the skills, the effort, the passion and the guts to play. You get the same in both

If THIS is the kind of post that makes people think everyone on here is an incel then it kinda says more about them, no? Not really...says more about the OP and the upvoters The only reason we have events for men and women is because men are far better at sports, it's a as simple as that. "Sports where speed and strenght are key" is basically nearly all sports Men are not "better" at sports. They are stronger and faster. If you watch cycling or athletics, what matters is not the top speed but ra…

This is an idiotic argument and reflects poorly on this forum. Athletes are paid on a number of factors including revenue generated by the events they participate on, sponsorships, etc. Of course you have events for men and women, else you leave half the population out of competition in any sport where speed / strength are key. This is the kind of post that post that make people go: "Men's rights.. bunch of incels".

I remember doing the google search a few years ago and the result explaining it was on the first 10 search results. I googled it now and I took me 10 minutes to find the explanation, buried under 00's of pages celebrating the phrase. Read this: https://www.dvaa.com.au/the-rise-of-female-supremacism-feminist-tyranny-the-future-is-female/ "Gearhart outlines a three-step proposal for female-led social change from her essay, “The Future–-If There Is One–-is Female”: Every culture must begin to affir…

At a point in time, feminism stopped being a movement for justice and became and end to itself. Die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Feminism has become the villain. It became anti-men. How can anyone wear a T-shit that says "The future is female", fully knowing the context and background of such phrase?. Take the Barbie movie. The world it depicts where misogyny is rampant and women are discriminated doesnt exist anymore. Its just a fiction that feminists need in …

Its because men are perceived to be self-centered and useless in bed, hence women NEED a sex toy to be satisfied OR they the sex toy empowers them and removes the need for the (useless) men. Men....are perverts and losers no matter what they do.

In any top tier company and more so on tech industries, it is definitely a plus to be a woman. I was director level in my previous company and the unwritten rule in promotions was: when two candidates are equally qualified, the female would get the promotion. This was unwritten but quite explicit direction from HR. There were quotas for Managing Director level that went beyond that. I know women that were promoted to MD that would have not been had they been a man.

Same here. I'm generally very careful around these things as I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But this case.....come on. The guest can't get ANY (female) support for raising awareness of men's suicide? Do you have to complete (and win) in the victim Olympics every time? Worst of all. Any pushback will be labelled "misogynist". Unreal. I hope this gets a lot of traction and that they have to acknowledge the situation

Have any of you f*ckers even seen the movie? Stop with the mindless whinging. It devalues a very necessary men's rights movement. Higher suicide rate / homelessness Drop in university enrollment Unfair court rulings Automatic 'guilty' verdict from society after every accusation Blamed for each and every ill of society 'Future is female' There are dozens of valid reasons for this movement. Whinging about a movie you have obviously not seen is not one of them Ffs

Even taken out of context, "The future is female" is not supporting women. What it is, is degrading men. Its saying "you dont matter, you are unimportant. I was a director in a tech consulting company. This was exactly the promotion guidance we had. When we had two equally qualified candidates for a position, the woman would take the spot. I like this version better as it is not specific on sex, just the less represented candidate.

I have two kids, boy and girl (pre-teen / teen). Boy goes to a mixed school. Has friends, with the normal variance on relationship quality. Sometimes they get along great, sometimes they fight, then back to being friends. Girl goes to all-girls school. Has a group of friends. The level of bullying and relationship toxicity in her class / group has caused her depression and she is now in counselling. I'm considering changing schools Having seen what girls are like, I'll take "toxic masculinity" a…
