Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy. (Wikipedia) I am still unclear as to a universal all encompassing definition of the term woke. Would his article about swimmi…

If you are going to hit on a woman in public don't do it in such a way that makes it fascinating to people on TikTok. Being nervous is not all that interesting. Someone being obnoxious is endlessly intriguing.

There are people who are today happily married who met on places like Plenty of Fish, OK Cupid, and even Match.com.

I am fascinated by men who say they never struggle when it comes to women. I always feel like asking have you never hit on a woman who turned you down because she already has a boyfriend.

When it comes to dating, Hot guy with a high income does better than a hot woman with high income. Hot woman with modest income does better than a hot guy with modest income.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. -- It's the first line from a novel that women have loved possibly above all others for over two centuries. For those who will complain that novels are not reality the ones that last have more truth to them than what passed for science of the day - see phrenology.

If there is a problem with solvency of Social Security there is a simple solution. Require Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos et al to contribute to it at the same rate that a schoolteacher does.

Not to worry I am sure the members of the Supreme Court will pony up for child support payments for the kid that neither parent wanted. Well I am kind of certain.

For all I know those numbers are correct. But wanting more info I did a Google search and found this New York Times article 1 in 4 Women Experience Sex Assault on Campus. If you open the article you will notice something very interesting in paragraph three. Or like most people you don't read it since you do not have a paid subscription. So all you have to go by is the article heading. The Huffington Post looked into the whole article. 1 in 4 Women: How the Latest Sexual Assault Statistics Were T…

All of those requirements can mean something if that is all you have to offer. But social capital is actually much more important. The importance of community was best described in a best seller written 20 years ago and still very popular called Bowling Alone There is nothing preventing you from creating a Meet-up to create a community that would draw people from both sexes. Its just your job to figure out what. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_building

I would have thought available women might also play a role.

While getting a date can be difficult for a man, the ultimate challenge for a man is finally getting that date and then facing the risk of misinterpreting whether the date wants to mess around in some way. Get it wrong and he will find his future social calendar will be limited to evenings with Bubba.

I know women who watch the Hallmark Channel constantly. Every movie is a predictable formula about someone - usually a woman -finding her true love.

Dating a friend just to be nice is just asking for trouble. Are you talking about male friends? Because I would never expect a man to randomly set up another guy. Friends who are female on the other hand love that stuff. For proof see the massive ratings that the Hallmark Channel gets from women .

I cannot imagine calling a guy your friend and still never being aware that he lacks a girlfriend and that he might just want one. If her friend was another woman I would imagine there would be at least a minor effort to end the friend's single status. Friends help friends when they can.

Go and buy the cheapest DSLR you can find with a lens that covers the portrait range (85 -135mm) and a tripod to mount it on - Ebay tends to be cheaper than Shopgoodwill.com and you can return it if it does not work. Make sure the tripod is not missing the part that mounts to the camera. Set the camera to photograph yourself with the timer. Bonus points if you see what happens if you remember to slightly push ahead your forehead when the shutter clicks. If you want that cool background out of fo…

Its too bad no one has yet to invent a filtering system for comments. Something along the lines of readers voting down comments that are clearly ridiculous and voting up comments that are rational and well thought out. Or even a system that only allows votes of support with the top vote recipients getting on page one. (like the New York Times uses)

Male writers tend to be Beta. Exhibit A: Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda. The best place to learn game in literature is from the female writers who set out to design their ideal man. Jane Austin created what must be the penultimate Alpha in the character of Mr. Darcy Pride and Prejudice. Why do we still fall for Mr Darcy? Women's favourite fictional icon is a dominant patriarchal male. No wonder modern men are confused
