Its too bad no one has yet to invent a filtering system for comments. Something along the lines of readers voting down comments that are clearly ridiculous and voting up comments that are rational and well thought out. Or even a system that only allows votes of support with the top vote recipients getting on page one. (like the New York Times uses)
