People who follow ridiculous rules like this are ridiculous.

Yo your text game was fine man, kept it short and sweet and secured the date. My only suggestion would be to text in complete words instead of saying "u".

You did not fuck up at all. She's desperate for attention. You did what I wish I could have the stones to do in that situation.

Nope yep this one is it. This sub has gone so downhill the last few years. This is the one. A post about saying someone told someone they liked their clothing. This is the one that's making me unsubscribe.

Lol wut. Why is everyone in this sub so paranoid about being creepy? Be open that you like her and if she thinks you're creepy then fucking be creepy, if you listen to bullshit comments like this you'll never learn where the boundary is or how to interact with women and you always WILL be far creepier being the guy who stares at her all day wanting to fuck her while she fucks all the guys you wish you could be.

Seconding this, I had a first date that was incredibly normal and quite honestly if it weren't for the fact that I was genuinely interested in her stories, it probably would have even been a little boring. We didn't talk about risqué things or anything like that, I may have mentioned sex in general like once offhand but when we walked to our cars I grabbed her hand the second we were out of the restaurant. She melted and grabbed my arm with both hands. And when we got to the cars I used that han…

This is good practical advice but honestly the hardest part about changing your style is not caring about the judgement of your friends and family. That being said, it's good practice for seduction and life in general anyways as you need to learn to not give a fuck what they think. Not only that, but in my experience when I've changed up my style my friends and family usually have only made 1 comment each, if that, and it's usually something along the lines of "woah look at you all dressed out" …

Not include the ask her on a date advice. I already said that. It's desperate. Have some self respect and walk away from her. You're the only one over complicating this lol

She texts him for attention. She's his toy and nothing more.
/r/seduction30/10/18 12:09 PM

The point is for him to NOT beat around the bush. She's obviously not interested, take the hint and move. Asking her on a date is just going to be a last ditch desperation move which she'll see from a mile away. Have some self respect and cut the cord.

Are you talking about yourself the whole time you're with them? Are you talking about them the whole time your with them? There's too many variables to know just from this post but try to make sure your conversations are having good ebs and flows. Ask questions to get them to share a story. Relate your personal experiences to a story they share. Rinse and repeat.

Not often in the day but a couple weeks ago I just decided to go to a loud music bar by myself. I opened a couple of women but convos didn't really go anywhere so I excused myself. Standing at the bar now after rbeing there maybe an hour and a half or so and a 40 year old 8/10 comes up to me and asks me "Do you ever have this perfect image in your head of how someone is going to be, and then you start talking to them and they totally ruin it?". I asked her if she was referring to me and noted th…

Similarly to the stand up comedy thing, I've started watching a lot of reruns of Craig Fergusons Late Late Show and I've learned so much about the way he talks to women (and even men) that I've been trying to start incorporating into my conversations. But so far the main things I've learned are that it's really difficult to change your personality.

My concern always ends up being the dreaded "what are you doing here?" question. How do you answer that honestly without coming across as crazy pathetic?
/r/seduction19/09/18 09:49 PM

Can confirm. Girl who actually seemed really into me suggested the movies as a second date spot. She would try to talk to me during the movie and I didn't know how to respond so I would keep my responses short and return my attention to the movie. There was no third date.

You honestly sound like the only salty person here. This sub is meant to help people who are "too introverted" and who DO use that as an excuse. Before you take personal offense to a comment on reddit not even particularly directed at you, take " two seconds to think before knee jerk reacting" and realize the I was just pointing out a flaw about the phsychi of the type of personality that you offered out as a defense. You can either live your life alone and never get out to meet people because y…

That IS his point exactly. It sucks. Nothing gets worse than that though so you really can't fail harder than "I haven't got time". Your "failure" is a success in the long run. Fail more! I hate reading all of the field reports on here where someone gets rejected and then "turns it into a yes and fucks her 4x that night". That ain't real. This is as real and common of failures as they come and is nothing but positive. Keep up the good work brother.

Idunno I remember in college a lot of the shallow ho's wanted to take the innocence too. Plenty of girls like it, they think it's a conquest just like a guy would. But I would make sure to do it before she gets super hot and into it. Otherwise it'd be a real mood killer.

It totally sucks you have to live with that and have all of those challenges to deal with dude. The only advice I can give is that you're the only one who can fix it. I don't know what the solution is, but as a stranger on the internet I can't really help you a whole lot more than motivation. I will say though, I can't possibly disagree with your last statement more. Being yourself is the only thing that attracts women. It just doesn't attract all women. Money status, resources, those are things…

Look I can't speak to anything about what it must be like living with autism because I can't compare a single life experience of mine to that. I don't know what it's like and I won't try to pretend how difficult it can be. What I can speak to is overcoming challenges that I thought were due to the way I was raised or way I was born that I didn't think were possible to overcome until I forced myself into uncomfortable situations. I'm so conflicted with this. On one hand, treating them like anyone else shows you aren't desperate or needy but on the other hand, treating them like an acquaintance can end up with you being just that, an acquaintance.

You may not be totally alone in your experience, but believe me when I say if you found it harder to get girls in college than afterwards, you are definitely in the minority. Just the amount of extra free time in college alone will help anyone get more girls provided they're not spending it all playing video games.

What is this a woman's empowerment seminar? You have to stand out in some way to attract a fucking woman. Honestly this sub acts like you can be the most boring generic person on the planet, but as long as you're more bull-headed than she is you'll get whatever you want. Putting 5 seconds of thought into a text message to stand out doesn't make you a circus monkey. It makes you fucking normal and not narcissistic.
/r/seduction26/10/17 02:05 AM
6

You're overthinking this by a mile. You're basing your action off of whether or not you think she may or may not be interested. Based on "likes" and "views". If you're messaging her 5 years later out of the blue because you like her and you think she might be interested, she will see right through it. Go ahead and message her, but don't do it because you want to get laid or want to start a relationship with her. Be genuine. Do it because you want to connect with her and get to know the person yo…

Confidence is not "playing it cool". Confidence is being open to vulnerable. Someone who has to try to be super cool guy 24/7 is going to get a hot girl for the short term but she and everyone else can see right through that act. And it's not gratifying for anyone. Being genuine and vulnerable is how you get people to like you for who you are and how you become comfortable in your own skin. True Confidence vs False Confidence.

I agree being able to get satisfaction from your life through the people you meet is also important but to prioritize it so much as they key to your happiness over your own career and passions is, to me, simply pathetic.
/r/seduction20/07/17 02:07 PM

I have so many problems with this video and your response here I don't even know where to begin. You don't need to learn how to "screen women" or put women above your career in any way, you need to learn how to find satisfaction in your life without women. That is what attracts women. The guy who has followed his dream and career should learn how to find intrinsic value in himself and the passions he pursues and not in the women he dates. I strongly strongly disagree with what you are trying to …

It's not what you want to hear but if I were you what I would do is go talk to those 4 other girls you mentioned and take em out on some dates. Focus when you're with them and pay attention, learn them and get to know them better. There's nothing unusual about it taking months to get over someone. It took me probably a solid 2 years before I felt like I got over the first girl I fell in love with. There won't ever be a time where you think "I'm over her now" but there will be a time where you'll…

Just by wanting to date her again after she broke up with you because of your self-confidence, you're saying to her and yourself that your self-confidence hasn't changed. Ex's don't "go on dates". They either get back together or they don't. And I've never met someone who got back together with their ex who had MORE self-confidence as a result. You're trying to get back into your old comfort zone because you're scared to take any risk.

Have a beer pong or some sort of gaming table for drinking games! With my group of friends it's the sole reason we would go to my buddy's place. His place wasn't even really big enough for all of us but the table was huge so we'd all crowd around it and play a very large variety of like 20 different drinking games. Also, have a big place. If that table had been at a buddy's house who had a larger living room, we would have all gravitated there.

Don't sweat it bro. If you're lying in bed watch a movie or Netflix. Go with the super cheesy and lame arm around her shoulders move. She will smile and love it. Then just keep stealing glances at her every once in a while throughout the movie and pause longer on one. Wait for her to look up and you, lock eyes, look at her mouth and kiss the crap out of her! EDIT: as for the "whatever else" part, you gotta take things slowly and read signals from her. Put your hand up the back of her shirt a lit…

I probably phrased this poorly but that's not entirely what I mean. I like who I am, I simply want to improve myself in this way and am asking for advice on how to do so. I feel that some of my closest friends are people that save their smiles and laughs for when they are truly entertained. And it does raise their social value in a number of settings. I agree and I think it's because it makes her curious. You've given her several different signs about both being attracted to her (approaching to begin with) and not attracted to her (asking her to put in a fake number) and by feigning interest in her friend, she is suddenly chasing you now.

Can't vouch for this enough. Likely there is something going wrong long before the texting and even before you ask for the number. It's much easier for a girl to just give a guy her number with no intention of speaking to him again rather than go through the uncomfortable mess of rejecting him. Pay close attention and try to note where she loses interest. Are you interviewing her and bombarding her with questions? Make sure to have meaningful conversation where you contribute material as well ra…

To me it just sounded like he was trying really hard to come off as "chill" and give off a relaxed vibe. Which effectively accomplished the opposite. The word choice he used made him come off as insecure about himself. Maybe it's common verbage around there, but not the way he says it. I could see how "yo" and "dope" could be common there, but people don't refer to places to sit as "gangster".

like holding her from her belly when crossing the road, holding her hand while making a joke This just made me cringe so hard. but you didnt show so much of an interest. Profanity usually comes out when you are nervous because it comes off as if you're trying to be overly casual. This dude kicked ass and that was a great pickup and this was exemplary, but that doesn't mean he has 0 room for improvement. Swearing less can come off as much more endearing and intelligent.

Thanks! I wish I could put more effort into finding ways of understanding more people though. Too often I fall into the trap of doing what's easy and just assuming things about them. They're boring, they are intentionally rude, they have baggage. Really it's more likely I'm not trying to find out about them, I'm misinterpreting what they said, or I'm looking at the negatives instead of the positives.
/r/seduction10/09/16 05:55 PM

To use these as reasons to not even approach and talk to her is ridiculous. If you're that afraid of dealing with unpleasant potential fallout, you're never going to want to talk to any new girl because you might see them again. If things go wrong, man up and deal with it. I'm not suggesting a gym is a good place to practice pickup, but convincing yourself you aren't approaching a girl because "things might be unpleasant if it crashes and burns" is taking the easy way out of a potential relation…

This sounds like the most cowardly way to handle this out of all the comments in this sub. "All the other guys are probably just eating her up with their eyes" "You'll probably just annoy her." "Her bitch shield is already up" Literally all the worst advice you could possibly give.
/r/seduction08/09/16 06:19 PM

I don't think OP was asking if it's OK to actively go to the gym and creepily try to pick up women. But there are plenty of situations when I'm at the gym when I wish I had an opening to talk to a girl but between headphones and constantly having something to do, nothing opens up. And I think this is what OP is referring to. If you see an opportunity, fuck yeah go for it.
/r/seduction08/09/16 06:17 PM

Yeah, while there may not be a scripted ok time to approach, there are certainly obvious times where it's not ok to approach. Your examples were good, thanks! Edit: you're not OP. Oops.

I've looked into it a little bit but truthfully I'm not worried about this. I'm comfortable with who I am but more importantly the club is going to be exclusively my fraternity brothers who I trust and who will all have their own dates. Sometimes it does happen that a few of the guys have their dates either bail on them or they bail knowing they won't get laid (kind of shitty IMO) but I'm not afraid of them stealing my date. I appreciate the advice though!

This is incredibly useful advice. Sometimes I'll have a story I'm telling and my friends have the attention span of squirrels and tend to look away and stop listening halfway through. Obviously I hate when this happens but worse I never knew what to do. Sometimes I keep talking and they'll just also start talking so I don't break stride and finish the thought. Other times I'll stop talking and even be fine with the fact I didn't finish the thought and then they'll bring it up and say "sorry what…

This is one of my favorite things to do. When someone asks a question about me I love to go and tell these outlandish ridiculous stories and then afterwards they'll ask if I'm serious and I say no and tell them the lame truth. Fun way to make something boring or maybe even embarrassing about yourself seem fun and interesting, even for just a few seconds.

Not important at all. Let me put it this way, I have a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. It has a janky steering wheel, broken Cd player, broken trunk handle, broken running board, there's a piece of plywood holding together the center console, and there's a gunshot hole in the roof, yet girls still seem to love my car. I attribute it to having a connection with my car and telling people how much I love my car all the time. It gives it personality and gives me personality because they wonder what I…

Woah damn, this is really helpful. Just literally find any one subject of the sentance she used and make a new point from there. I don't know how I never thought of it that way before. Threading. I like the term.

For the love of god don't mention it again. Just text her again whenever you feel like it and don't bring that back up. And now that you've established basic information about each other, set up another date and then don't talk to her until then. Do exactly what she is doing to you, she is making you obsess and think about her by not responding. You doing the same after setting up a date will do the exact same thing to her.

Fuck no. Go out, start approaching and have your soul crushed a couple of times until you realize none of that shit matters, stop giving a fuck, and you have the confidence to conquer the world. Work on your body at the same time, I've been approaching for a couple years now and i'm still overweight too, 5'9" - 215 lbs. But I'm still working on it too. Confidence COMES from working out. Do them at the same time! Edit: Btw that "fuck no" is in response to your question in the text, not your title…

I agree, girls aren't constantly eyeing a quite group of guys and memorizing their faces to know who to shun if they approach. And if by coincidence they pick you out and think you're some AFC, then you look all the more confident for breaking the circle and throwing yourself in the water.

Okay the part about the friend zone is pretty stupid. You invite her to a social event where there's other people, and just because she shows up she's into you? No, this is advice that desperate people hanging in the friendzone are going to cling on to. It should say "In the friendzone? Tough luck, move on."

Something tells me he's not gotten a girl interested enough to have broken her heart.
/r/seduction07/01/15 02:51 AM

It's only being "creepy" and harassing if you're doing it wrong. If you're assuming attraction then you're assuming she is interested. And even if she's not interested, she's not going to return your call anyways so no harm done. Asking for a phone number isn't creepy, it's just saying you want to get to know the person, it gives the person two different occasions to reject interest if they really want to.

Why is it being a dick? I want to enjoy my life by potentially spending it with this woman. Why should having a cute conversation with her upset anyone?
/r/seduction24/12/14 03:44 PM

Who the fuck cares? The main point of this subreddit is to stop worrying about what people think of you and to start doing what you want when you want. If I think a hostess is cute, why would I not try to get her number? When is there a chance that I will see that girl outside of her workplace ever again?
/r/seduction24/12/14 03:18 AM

Nice doesn't come off as feminine, it just comes off as boring and generic. There's nothing feminine about the word nice... And I disagree, the fictional character doesn't sound like he's trying hard, he sounds like he's genuinely interested which, frankly, is what this subreddit preaches nearly every post. Confidence and genuine interest. That's all the hypothetical character provided.

Don't straight up say you think they're cute and all that. Just approach and say Hi, I'm Bemully. You don't need to tell them you think they're attractive, that may just make them uncomfortable for the rest of the conversation. Everyone in college is looking to meet people, especially they're freshman year, just say hi!
/r/seduction29/07/14 02:54 PM

Not just women, go out and pick up people. This is a great way to meet friends. It sounds weird at first but all of these "tactics" work on making friends of any gender. Just be confident, and approach.

That puts me at 205-210. I know my math is off but my weight fluctuates my like literally 5 pounds a day it seems so I always just throw it in a range. For example, yesterday I was 211 and today im 205.7. My goal for the end of summer is to just get under 200 and I will feel so much better.

Lol see? No matter how bad you strike out, the very worst thing you come away with is a great story. Have no shame! Nice job on the weight progress man, I wish I could stay on track with my progress! Lost 20 lbs in the last semester and have been stuck there since then. Keep up the good work!

shot down like a Japanese ww2 pilot. Sorry but this made me laugh so hard. First off, fuck yeah dude, you lost 65 pounds?? That's crazy awesome! Secondly, fuck that bitch. Be glad she didn't say yes because you don't want to go on a date with someone like that. What a horrible person to say that to anyone, especially a complete stranger. Well we live in the same city and to be honest I don't really know anywhere in the city. I could do a walk, I was thinking about asking her ice skating to be sort of funny but I feel like with both of us trying to skate competitively in our own ways that wouldn't be a great plan. Playgrounds seem sort of creepy at 20 though... Is a cup of coffee at like 7 at night out of the question? It seems like it would be.
/r/seduction16/07/14 11:34 PM

I'm 215 right now and have lost 20 lbs since I started. But I was learning and using the stuff on this subreddit successfully when I got all the way up to 230-235. It's literally all mindset man, try the material out first and get shot down a couple of times. After practice you'll realize you won't get shot down every time, half the time it seems a girl will say yes just because you asked.
/r/seduction16/07/14 11:32 PM

Don't be crazy! I'm still working on losing weight too, believe me when I say do them at the same time. I had the mindset for a while that I had to lose weight, and THEN I could start talking to women. Nuh uh, other way around. Start doing it now and it'll be even easier in a few months or a year or two when you've made the progress you want to make! Not to mention the confidence you get from talking to women helps you stay on path for dieting and exercising! To your other point, I was really wo…

Well I did say "I'd like to get to know you better" but I did it while expressing my interest in her as more than just a friend. I've tried the "We should hang out some time" and it never works. It doesn't sound confident because of the iffiness of it "should" and "some time" make it sound like you are unsure of yourself or what you want. I like to be as straightforward as possible, but I agree that specifically saying "date" or "take you out" are loaded phrases and probably shouldn't be used wh…

Nick Sparks goes into lengthy discussion about this exact topic here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-a1jXgAsQI TL;DW It's less about continuing the conversation on your end to keep her talking (or you fall into interview mode) and more about pushing the conversation onto her. This is done by pushing through the awkward silence whenever it comes about. Let it sit there in the air and be comfortable in it, even stare at her expectantly like she's doing something weird (she is by not talking). Sh…

There's not gonna be a good way to avoid this necessarily. Just realize that you're not talking to them to solely date them. You're starting off by just getting to know who they are as a person. The age question should come up early in a conversation (for the most part)
