I would go with a kindle. I have a tablet I can install a reader on, and I have, the kindle is better simply because it is easier on your eyes. Also, if you have an Amazon account and make book purchases, it is much more secure. It is also easier to handle than a tablet too. The catch is you have to get a closeable cover for it, they are very easy to drop and crack the screen.

Armed insurrection rarely succeeds, my feeling is such dysfunctional societies continue to lurch and stumble along like an infected zombie until some outside force kills it completely off. In the case of nations, it will likely be a huge disaster like an extinction level event meteor strike, super volcano eruption or nuclear war causing a huge mass dieoff, survivors are then free to create a new society that may be, but not always is, a better one.

The best people I met in life were ugly ones. This is true for both men and women. It's not forged in iron, but it is generally true, ugly people are generally better people in almost every way, except for their facial appearance. They are stronger, tougher, smarter, harder working, and usually, not always, more compassionate and caring of others. There's a lot you have that you probably aren't even aware of.

I read the story on it. His accuser, Julia Jewell, was the one who set him on fire. The white knights were the ones who chained him to the post. The guy deserved due process ( which means the accuser has to prove her accusation) and presumption of innocence, not white knight bullshit lynching based on accusation of some woman.

You have to pay monthly to someone else to tell you how to live in your own house. They basically own your property, while you pay the taxes and mortgage on it. You pay them monthly to tell you what colors you can paint your house, whether you can work on your car in your own driveway, what kind of mailbox you can have, even whether or not you can have a pet.
