See my update through my profile! Yeah I am going through with the divorce. My therapist believes I feel guilty/ashamed of “giving up” on my marriage finally is due to abandonment issues I’ve had since I was a child. This therapy I’m going through is intense, and it’s only just the beginning. I know a huge part of me will always want that woman back, but it just feels like a lost cause. Maybe she will “crash,” but who knows really? My cousin believes it’s her re-engaging, the “highs” of a mania …

I hear you. It just feels like a cruel joke being played on me over and over, while I work on therapy, the healing process, growing, etc.

I wish I could explain how I felt more. It’s such a muddy mess.

It’s bad I know.

That’s what I’m doing. Her parents are “helping” out too by kicking her out and taking her brother in. They told her to take his old apartment and learn to live alone. Idk how she will do that with our 2 year old. Which is why I’m fighting for full custody too.

Honestly yeah. I keep thinking this over and over. I feel like a broken record. The other part of me just keeps thinking she’s gonna come back, and her parents think so too.

Yeah. I’m starting to think that now.

I wouldn’t call her a psychopath. I’m not with her anymore.

Don’t get me wrong. It definitely feels like she’s in the stage of, “grass is definitely greener on the other side,” and states our marriage was horrible every single moment. It wasn’t. There was a lot more amazing times than bad times. She also said horrible things to her best friend, like how she wish she aborted our son. I don’t get this at all. I really hope she figures herself out. If she seriously just called and took accountability, and wanted to work on things- I would.

I mean with the military I was gone. A lot. I guess she was alone. When I was home it was a lot of long days working, when all I wanted to do was go home and I couldn’t. I was so exhausted and depressed that she apparently felt like she was a mother to me, when I always tried to make her feel like she wasn’t.

Honestly there was a lot to take into account. Me putting work first, getting deployed, letting my anger and depression get to me the past couple years. I’ve been going to therapy to help with all of it. The reason I say the switch felt like a blindside, because the entire time I was on leave, we talked so much and she was so excited towards everyone about going home, being a stay at home mom, and doing school online. We were picking out new furniture and going for on base housing. The night aft…

I’ve been all about understanding and taking accountability. I’m still at the point of if she calls me begging for help that I will be there.

She’s so far gone with me now. States that she has zero respect for me, and wants nothing to do with me, while exploring this new relationship with that man. I just don’t understand how she flipped a switch overnight. Could it be the Lexapro mixed with the alcohol? Could it just be mental health issues? Could she really just be over? Who knows?

She was forcibly kissed and dry humped from what her sister told me. Apparently my wife enjoyed it though. Seeking male validation from someone else like that just caught me off guard. Idk how she became obsessed with the guy.

I understand that, but her parents went through the same thing over 20 years ago, and they worked it out. They’re happy with each other.

I never understood the, “she’s been out of love with me for years.” She begged me to stay home when she took me to the airport, which she denies. We made plans for our life back at my duty station while I was with her on leave. Like serious financial and personal plans. She was madly in love with me literally up to the moment she went out the house.

I have a lawyer, and he basically said that this is the 2nd worse case he’s ever had (that didn’t involve illegal substances). He also told me that regardless of how much I still love her, that I have to stop pulling my punches. Just let him do his job, and hopefully she will realize how important all of this is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
